Genuinely the best Barbecue I have ever had. The decor was amazing and outstanding staff. The staff were friendly and really personified southern charm and friendliness. We met Naaman and he told us all about the restaurant and was an outstanding host. The food was mouth-waveringly good. The fat melted in my mouth. 10/10 experience, I cannot recommend Naaman’s enough.
What an amazing bbq restaurant. We shared a 3 meat platter: ribs, brisket and in-house made sausage. All meat tasted freshly made. I can always tell when it is days old. Not here. We had the twice baked potatoes; wow! So good! And we had the Gorgonzola salad; delish! If you’re fortunate enough to get waitress “T” then you’re really in for a treat. She’s great!
The food was good!!! The sides could use a little improvement. What truly made the experience 5 stars for me was the atmosphere. There was a local young man playing the piano, and it added such a warm, inviting touch. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to sit back, relax, and soak it all in. It's worth a visit , so go check them out!!
The food was DELICIOUS. And in an area that has so many corporate chains, this is a small business. We went two days in a row. Ribs? Fell off the bone. Brisket? Juicy and tasty. Our wait staff was above wonderful. Thanks to Susan and Brailey. We'll go again when we are back in the area.
Cory was absolutely outstanding- the best service we've had in a VERY long time. Personable, helpful, polite, and went above and beyond to give us an excellent introduction to southern BBQ. Food was delicious-everything from the drinks to the sides. And the main courses... wow!!!! We had a little of everything - ribs, chicken, brisket, pulled pork - yummy!!!! Ranch was soooo good as were the fried green beans. Wish we lived close by - we would be regulars here. Last but not least, the ambiance was delightful!
Absolutely one of the best BBQ places I've come across in my travels. I've eaten here several times and every time it is just as good. Consistent, good and affordable. The service is always top notch. No, I mean every time, every server we've had has been wonderful. I've heard several things on the menu and not one thing I wouldn't recommend. The banana pudding or cheesecake are delicious for dessert too. I would drive out of my way for Naamans

We’ve been at Naaman‘s some days ago as we were craving brisket after our day out. For sure some of the best brisket we ever had, thinly sliced and lean meat. Got to try their ribs too and both, brisket as well as ribs been tender and very tasty. Lots of home made sides to choose from and definitely the best mac and cheese I ever had! As dessert we had the cinnamon roll cheesecake, which rounded up the dinner perfectly. Our waiter Mia was an amazing host, very attendant and excellent service. Highly recommend to visit Naaman‘s and have some amazing BBQ
New Year’s Day, 2026. Somewhere between Little Rock and Fort Worth, time fractured. We did not plan to stop at Naaman’s Championship BBQ. That is an important detail because history never announces itself. History ambushes you while you are hungry, mildly cranky, and convincing yourself gas station jerky is acceptable. The moment we walked in, I am fairly certain the building assessed us. The grandfather clock made eye contact first. It did not tick. It measured. I believe it was deciding whether we were worthy of barbecue. The server appeared immediately. Not walked. Appeared. She smiled the way someone smiles when they already know how the story ends. She spoke fluent hospitality, a dialect long thought extinct, and guided us through the menu like a seasoned general briefing troops before battle. We did not question her. We trusted her with our lives. Food arrived. One son tasted the pulled pork and said, “It’s good.” This was not a review. This was prophecy. The room accepted it as truth. My daughter claimed the loaded nachos and defended them with the intensity of a medieval knight. No survivors. No regrets. I entered what can only be described as a meat symposium. Ribs. Chicken. Turkey. Adult mac and cheese that tasted like it had been raised by wolves and finished by a chef who loved it unconditionally. Somewhere in there, I forgot what year it was. Then the servers noticed the casts. Without hesitation, they signed them. Both casts. Like surgeons signing a successful transplant or astronauts signing a moon rover. My daughter achieved minor celebrity status. I suspect those signatures carry mystical properties. Time will tell. The decor began revealing itself. Not all at once. Slowly. As if unlocking levels. Every wall had stories. Every corner had opinions. My wife whispered that whoever designed this place was truly talented and possibly operating on a higher plane of consciousness. She was not wrong. Eventually, I went to the bathroom. I turned the door knob. Water began flowing from the sink. Reality folded in on itself. The door knob controlled the faucet. Physics resigned. Plumbing became theater. I laughed alone in that bathroom like a man who had just discovered the universe has a sense of humor. Somewhere, the grandfather clock approved. We returned to the table changed. Plates empty. Spirits full. The kids calmer. The adults quieter. The clock continued its work. Time resumed, but reluctantly. We left Naaman’s Championship BBQ not as travelers, but as witnesses. I cannot explain what this place is. I can only say that if you find yourself on a long road, on a new year, unsure of what comes next, this restaurant might briefly realign your timeline. Eat the food. Trust the server. Let them sign the casts. Turn the door knob. If the clock lets you in, you are exactly where you are supposed to be.
After a great day out at Caddo Lake, I was craving BBQ- especially brisket. After a bit of research across different platforms, one name kept popping up: Naamans BBQ in Texarkana. The location is super convenient, right near Interstate 20, with plenty of parking. It's right at the Texas / Arkansas border- on the other side of the road is Texas. As soon as you walk in, you’ll notice the place is full of character, like a living memorabilia museum, beautifully decorated and full of BBQ soul. Now the brisket… wow. I ordered ½ pound, sliced thin and it was everything I love: very lean, non-fatty, perfectly smoked and ideally seasoned. Honestly, one of the best briskets I’ve ever had. Absolutely spot on. The sides are clearly homemade, do yourself a favor and try the mac & cheese. It’s made with five different cheeses and tastes just as amazing as it sounds. I also tried the ribs: honey-glazed, juicy, and flavorful. I’m not really a ribs guy, but even I have to admit they were very good. Dessert was the cinnamon roll cheesecake, freshly prepared and simply outstanding. A real “wow” moment to finish the meal. Big shout-out to Mia, my server. She was warm, extremely attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the food. Truly excellent service and absolutely deserved the $12 tip—she’s outstanding at her job. One thing to note: all drinks are crafted. I didn’t realize that at first and got for something “flat,” which isn’t really my style, but Mia immediately brought me a sweet tea, no problem at all. Final verdict: I’ve been to many Texas BBQ joints and this one proudly takes my #2 spot. Incredible brisket smoked to perfection, a unique atmosphere, and fantastic staff. Highly recommended- you won’t regret stopping here.
One of the best BBQ places I've been to. I like lean brisket, and it is the first place to ever truly give me lean brisket. The double baked potatoes and charro beans were delicious. I also tried the cheesy corn, and OMG, delicious.
Wow!! Exceptional service, vibe, and food! Big shoutout to Marie and LaLa who instantly made us feel like longtime friends! We were seated right away, with drinks delivered immediately and food very quickly afterwards. Marie was very friendly and attentive- great at anticipating our needs! Super fun, eclectic decor- even the bathroom was festive. We enjoyed the cheesy cow, salad, three meat plate, and sweet tea! Highly recommend this bbq place!!
Brisket as always was absolutely delicious. We had a variety of sides. Twice baked potatoes, beans with meat and Cheesey corn. All very well made and as expected delicious. Service was excellent from drink orders to getting Togo orders when we were leaving. They were doing a music bingo night which we did participate in. It was too loud to really have conversations. Our fault for not requesting a quiet area. All in all great service food and atmosphere.
I just got a basic brisket sandwich,fries and Mac and cheese. The brisket was great as was the Mac and cheese and the fries were probably the best I've ever had. None of it needed sauce,ketsup,salt ,pepper...nothing. I was alone and it was busy so sat at the bar and the lady tending bar was awesome as well. Highly recommend

Great BBQ spot. Friendly and attentive staff. Fun atmosphere. I was there for a late lunch/early dinner. Crack chicken lived up to its name. Menu is full of creative combinations of BBQ favorites along with the standard servings of smoked meats and sides.
First rate, to tier, best of the best. You must do here. Include fries with your order - how do they do that? Best fries I've ever eaten and I'm old. I wish it were closer to me - if definitely be a regular! I will not go through Texarkana without doing here to eat! And the staff? Genuinely friendly! Enjoy!
Naaman's BBQ - State Line (Texarkana) I ordered “Cracked Chicken” - $13.49, with “Adult Mac’ N Cheese” - $3.59. It tasted like Southern Homemade meal. I used to come here often with a special person for many years, and they still do exceptional customer service. My order was ready under thirty minutes and I grabbed it To-Go. Presentation was good and it was a lot of food. One awesome thing about this place, they always give more for your buck. Throughout the restaurant you will find wildlife decorations as well as old-fashioned funny sayings in pictures and walls. They offer great seating selection inside and outside. They have a good-size bar. In one of the dining areas you will find an old classic vehicle. Overall, if you’re looking for true Southern Hospitality and delicious home-cooked meals, Naaman’s is definitely a great choice!

This place is special. Stopped by on our way through about a week ago and had a great time. We came hungry and were not disappointed, you can smell the BBQ from the moment you walk in the doors and it tastes every bit as good as it smells. I don’t say this lightly but it was some of the best brisket I have ever had. But what truly impressed me was our server. Corey took care of us, checking in often and was more than happy to offer recommendations when we asked. When it was time for us to leave, we asked him if he would be working the night we would be on our return trip, and he said he’d be looking out for us when we came back. Fast forward about a week and we stopped by again, and had every bit as wonderful an experience with Corey. Thank you for a truly exceptional experience. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone.
This BBQ place is truly unique! The service was impressively fast, and our waitress was both helpful and personable, making the experience even better. The full-service bar was a great addition, and I absolutely loved the furnishings and unique decor—it really added to the atmosphere. As for the food, the brisket was tender and packed with flavor, while the catfish was cooked to perfection. To top it off, the key lime pie was an excellent dessert choice—so refreshing and delicious! I can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend!
Driving through, we were hungry for BBQ. We saw Naaman’s & let me tell you… It’s by far one of the best places for BBQ! I had the 2 meat & chose the Brisket & Pork Ribs. My sides were the Adult Mac N Cheese & Potato Salad. My Hubby had the Butt on a Bun. Everything was Ahhhh-Maze-Ing! The only tiny thing was that the Adult Mac N Cheese was cold… but full of flavor. Our waiter was always very attentive. We will definitely be coming back when passing through. As well as making a YouTube review video.
The food was simply amazing! I'm from Indiana and stopped here on my way back home. The service was outstanding!! Marie is hands down the best waitress I've ever experienced. She's knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, quick, and made our meal enjoyable. If this place was close to my home it would be a regular weekly stop for me.

Best BBQ in town. The brisket nachos, brisket fries, porker sandwich, or ribs r amazing. Yes they r pricey, especially the ribs, thus the 4 stars, so it's not somewhere u may not be able to enjoy often. But when u do get to treat urself, it's worth it. And the service is top notch, definitely not going to find any better than the folks in there!

The brisket was very good and rhe ribs were good as long as you took the syrupy sauce off of it. Sauce was way too sweet.
