Tantalizing to the tastebuds with a menu that is hard to beat! Food is always hot and full of flavor. My favorite is Hot Bean Curd and it is hard to find in other restaurants. Lee's Chinese is sure to please.
They're very nice and friendly the service is on the spot and atmosphere is open and welcome ing.
Just went recently for Chinese food and it was hot and very good, great service very friendly waitress. Very big selection of food.
It was too hot inside the restaurant. Food was very good. Waitress was mediocre and didn't appear to like her job.
The staff is so friendly, and the food is great. Best dine in Chinese food experience in town, and their to-go ordering is fast and accurate as well.
I have always loved Lees Chinese! They have THE BEST Chinese in town!! My picks, Lees Fried Rice, Princess Prawns, and Garlic Chicken! If your food isn't good here, tell them! They take care of their customers!! Love Lee's!!!
It's like the United Nations of Chinese food, if the UN was run by a lovely couple who probably don't speak much English but can communicate entirely through the universal language of delicious cuisine. You step inside, and suddenly you're in a quaint little Chinese restaurant that's been serving up MSG-laden goodness since... well, probably since fortune cookies were actually invented in China. The menu, oh the menu! It's like a choose-your-own-adventure book, but instead of fighting dragons, you're battling your cholesterol. Will you go for the Lemon Chicken? The Mongolian Beef? Or perhaps you'll throw caution to the wind and order the mysterious "Lee's Special Chicken". It's special, you see. Lee said so. And the portions! They're so generous, you'll need a forklift to carry your takeout. It's like they're secretly trying to prepare you for hibernation. "Here, have some more fried rice. Winter is coming, you know". Now, why only four stars, you ask? Well, it's not perfect. Nothing is. Maybe the fortune cookies aren't quite fortune-y enough. Maybe the chopsticks are a bit too slippery. Or perhaps it's because after eating here, you'll need to run a marathon just to burn off the egg rolls. But that's okay, because in Texarkana, the only marathon you need to run is from your car to Lee's front door. In conclusion, Lee's China is a solid four-star experience. It's the kind of place where the food is consistently good, the service is friendly, and the hot and sour soup might just cure whatever ails you. Unless what ails you is a fear of delicious Chinese food, in which case, you're on your own, mate.
Really enjoy Lee’s! It’s a Texarkana classic that I hope is around for many years to come. Reason I am giving 4 and not 5 stars is, although I enjoyed my food (Orange Chicken) I felt it was too sweet. There was no saltiness or spiciness to offset the sweetness from the Orange. It was still good, but it needed something to balance the sweetness.
Nice place to get Chinese cuisine. Texarkana does not have alot to offer in this area for this specific type of food so this is one of the last places to enjoy it. Food is a bit expensive but then again just about everythingis now. Called in an order to go and food was ready in less than 15 minutes as always. I was quickly greeted once I got there which is always nice. The restaurant was clean with a very inviting atmosphere. Once I returned home our food was delicious and very hot and fresh. I definitely recommend this place!
Lee's China offers a delightful dining experience with its combination of tasty food, decent ambiance, and friendly staff. The flavorsome dishes leave a lasting impression on customers, making the restaurant a go-to choice for Chinese cuisine enthusiasts. The standout element is the friendly staff, particularly Patricia, who adds a personal touch to the dining experience. Patricia's warm and welcoming demeanor enhances the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. Additionally, the generous portion sizes ensure every customer leaves the establishment fully satisfied. Overall, Lee's China stands out for its delicious food, pleasant ambiance, and attentive, friendly service.
Had a good lunch experience. They weren't too busy, the service was solid, and the kitchen staff was getting it done quickly. The lighting could be a bit brighter but it wasn't a deal breaker. I think they are under new management since last time I was in. Not perfect but I was satisfied with my visit overall. The staff is very polite and respectful.
They've gone WAY downhill. The sizzling rice soup doesn't have half the meat, shrimp & veggies that it used to. Service is poor, always on their cell phones. Food quality has gone way down overall. What's sad is I used to love that place.
I have been going here for close to 30 years. My family and I love the food, especially the hot and sour soup. However, when ordering to go the portions are considerably less than dining in (Same prices) . Which is a bummer because I can’t always eat inside.
This restaurant should be labeled as Chinese Fusion, not authentic Chinese cuisine. I attempted to order chow mein and was told that chow mein doesn’t include noodles, despite the fact that chow mein literally means fried noodles. I ended up settling for lo mein, which was made with what appeared to be fettuccine noodles. I also ordered egg drop soup, and it arrived with chicken, carrots, and peas in it—but no egg. I actually had to add my own eggs when I got home. On top of that, we were not given the sauces that were supposed to come with the food, and we were shorted on wontons. Overall, nothing was what it should have been. I was highly disappointed and won’t be returning. State Line Lee’s is significantly better.
Ordered the Hunan chicken with fried rice and it was $15 something for it which I wouldn't have minded if it would have been good but it was HORRIBLE! The rice tasted like old grease and the Hunan chicken was bland it had NO flavor it was similar to one of those frozen tai pei Chinese dinners you can buy at Walmart for $3. I will not be wasting my money trying them a second time!
First off the only thing we liked was the hot chili paste we asked for, the jasmine iced tea and the fried wonton strips. Service was slow for drinks and ordering, looked like they were working more for the take out orders. The waitress warned us that chow mein really wasn’t noodles, and yeah, it was the crunchy grocery store chow mein sprinkled on the plate with the entree(mostly fried cabbage) slopped on top. Just Google “chow mein” and you get dishes that use the thin, fried wheat noodles we were expecting. The black mushroom chicken was cooked with the preserved Chinese mushrooms(fine) but some of the baby corn tasted old, stopped eating that. The dining room was not pleasant to sit in, a bit warm, not so clean, springs broken in the booth and that light above my head was flickering with quite an annoying frequency…..ready to just take out the lightbulb myself and the bathroom was not very clean(my poor plus one informed me). It’s gonna be a nope for any future visit here, sorry.
