So good! High quality food, ingredients, fish servings are generous. All the veggie sides and fish are amazing! Vlad asked why we didn't eat our fries, we told him we weren't the biggest fans of the side so he gave us a different side. That's going above and beyond! 10/10 would recommend. 😛

My new favorite fish and chips! Service is great, the fish and chips are great, the price is excellent. My fish and chips cost $11.99 plus $5 for an additional piece of fish. When the order arrived I realized there was more fish than the menu pic showed. I probably didn't need the additional fish but I think I'll order it that way again. I met a staff member, Chewy, he is excellent, when you stop by say hello to Chewy.

I ordered them online and I simply followed the pictures on Ubereats and they looked fantastic. Even if it was delivered, it was still very crispy, the fish was tender, and the saltiness was just right!

Great food , great staff, Oscar at the register was amazing and very helpful !!! Will be coming again!

Place is so good so clean and the food is delicious. Lots of flavor thats well balanced and food is very fairly priced. Only complaint is the fries lack seasoning and have a bit of an aftertaste. My mahi mahi cali bowl and brussel sprouts

Today we visited Fish Grill for the first time, and we were truly impressed! The portion sizes are huge, yet the prices are very reasonable. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — and the menu offers great variety. It’s not just about fish here — their chicken bowls are also amazing! The rice was perfectly cooked, light and fluffy — every grain separate. Everything here comes together perfectly: the friendly staff, the delicious food, the cozy atmosphere, and the surprisingly low prices. One small suggestion — you should put a menu outside so people walking by can see what you offer and your great prices. I’m sure you’d have a line out the door! We’re so glad we discovered this place today, and we’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Thank you!

First time here and I, we were thoroughly impressed. The fish and shrimp were fresh, cooked to perfection and very tasty. I ordered the beans on the side and mixed them with my brown rice. We both upgraded to the Brussel Sprouts side, worth the extra $1.99!! Delicious. Service was quick, the restaurant was well cared for and the employees were patient and very helpful. We ordered an extra shrimp skewer, upgraded our sides and our total bill, with a tip, was under $50. Excellent value! A new restaurant we are adding to our list of top favorites!! Rivals the Lure, but a more affordable, casual setting.

The fish sandwich is a very crispy, large, well-seasoned piece of fish. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and their dynamite sauce is very tasty. The fries are good, but not amazing. I should have gotten the street corn on the side instead. The corn is very good, though I would have preferred cotija rather than the parmesan cheese. I am a huge fan of the fried fish here. The fried fish in the fish taco is very large and filling. The clam chowder is only so-so. It’s not as thick as I typically prefer, but the flavor is good. My wife had Mahi Mahi with rice. For her side, she got the cilantro lime slaw. The fish was well-done and seemed overly cooked, I would have preferred it a little less cooked. Their sauces and seasonings blend together very harmoniously. The fries are not very crispy, but they were still okay. My main complaint is that the fish seemed overcooked and fries weren't crispy, which I found very minor compared to the enjoyability I found in the flavors.

The Swai Cajun fish tacos on flour tortilla are a favorite. The staff was patient and kind, and the location was clean and well decorated. I will be back for sure! To make things better, pricing was amazing!

Had tried this chain in Irvine long ago and really enjoyed it. Glad to have it finally open in T.O. My Dad and I enjoyed the fried hot honey rockfish special. The fries and sides were good although I wish it was just coleslaw vs kaleslaw. Overall great new option for fish lovers. Be warned though the portions are gigantic, which I suppose isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

I ordered the plant-based battered fish and chips, which came with a kale slaw as well, and i almost returned it because I thought it was real fish! Wow! My wife finally convinced me that this was indeed a plant-based meal. The flavor was that of a mild white fish, from my recollection, as I've been a strict vegetarian for 9 years. The texture was very close to a real fish fillet, but just less flaky. It was very most and not chewy at all. My wife ordered the plant-based dynamite shrimp bowl, and she was floored by the spicy and bold flavors. The "shrimp" looked and tasted like cooked shrimp, but the texture was just a bit more firm. I could tell her meal was plant-based more than I could tell mine was. The bottom line: we were shocked by the quality and likeness to the real thing these plant-based dishes were. Thus the 4 stars for food. The only negative comment i have is that there were no plant-based kids meals available on the menu, so we had to go to another restaurant afterwards to feed my 6-year-old son. I'm not looking for anything fancy here: a grilled cheese sandwich, or a flat bread pizza (cheese or margherita), or a cheese quesadilla? We're not picky. I might be wrong, but I would think if you could nearly fool longtime vegetarians with the highest quality plant-based meals, then you can slap some cheese on a couple of slices of bread and throw it on a grill. Is that too much to ask?

Food was great! Had the fish taco. It took a little while to get my order but it was worth the wait. Atmosphere was okay but noisy. Was there right at lunchtime. I will definitely go eat there again though.

Brian and Daniel went above and beyond with customer service, so appreciated their kindness, patience and customer service. Really enjoyed suggestions and will definitely be back. Second time trying and love your staff which makes the dining out experience so nice. Thank you so much!

Me and my son were out and found California Fish Grill, we were both pleasantly surprised the food was very good, a little on the expensive side, but the serving were healthy portions, very clean and friendly, getting our food though took a long time almost 30 minutes after we ordered finally got our meal.

I recently ate here and the fish was amazing! The sides were just ok. The food took a bit longer than I expected but I guess that was because it is made to order! I would eat here again!

First time for three of us. Fish and chips: fish was very greasy. Fries were quite good, nicely seasoned. Fried catfish: over cooked, too much batter, greasy. Shrimp on screwers: quite tasty. All in all, their fries are very good, we may need to go again and try other dishes.

I guess apparently the gentleman that hosts the Odd Couple on Fox sports went to your restaurant for lunch today and you charged him $5.99 for a shrimp skewer instead of the $3.99 price because he had an accompanying entree? Says he won't return to your establishment anymore because of it LOL ;

The fish portion was way too small for the money. The side dishes helped fill in the gap, but they are much cheaper and should not be made to distract from the small portion of fish. Have ordered from them before, but same problem.

I ordered fish and chips for delivery. They forgot tartar and it was the driest thing I've ever eaten. Please pay attention to your orders, this small mistake ruined the food and I cannot recommend your store because I didn't enjoy it.
