As someone who spent much of their life in the New York City/Long Island area finding what I consider good pizza in Buffalo was essentially impossible. Olisi's has much of that NYC style corner pizzeria style and flavor. Their cheese and pepperoni pizza are good, although their buffalo chicken pizza was mediocre at best. They have a few pasta dishes which were surprisingly good and their garlic knots are fantastic. I have tried their cheese and their pepperoni calzones and they taste great and are huge. I don't want to know how many calories are in them... Not sure if they have Jamaican Beef Patties or not, but it would complete the corner pizza place persona they have going on. Best NYC Pizza in Buffalo and the 2nd best in North Western NY(there is a place in Fairport which is better). It still doesn't hold a candle to good pizza place in NYC, but for the area I can't recommend it enough.

This is the best thin New York style pizza I've had outside of the city. We went on a search to find this exact style of thin flavorful pizza and we're so glad we found it. The prices are reasonable and make it worth the trip.

I'm originally from LI and have been craving for NY style pizza. I was absolutely happy when I saw Olisi's open. I had to try it out to see if their pizza was like the one I would get back in LI. They truly did not disappoint! Food is delicious and comes hot when delivered.

Hands down the best BBQ stinger sub in buffalo.. It doesn't stop there, I've never been disappointed by anything I've ordered, I just happen to be addicted to the BBQ stinger sub. The staff is also very friendly and personable. I recommend this place to anyone I meet.

We always get the buffalo chicken pizza. Always great. The crust crisp, but chewey. I bought an extra pizza just to put in the freezer and heat slices up for lunch. We have tried many of their other pizzas. Basically, if you like the toppings your getting, your gonna like it.

Pizza is always good! And the employees......always friendly and polite. Other business owners can learn a lot about running a place that people like to come back to by meeting these people. Everybody is so polite every time I come here. The stuffed steak pizza slice is about 8 lbs and delicious! Lol

All of their food is great and the customer service is impeccable as well! Tried Olisi’s for the first time, and the customer service was outstanding! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made me feel like a valued customer. Best pizza place around! As long as you like their food, It will be just as good every single time! I’ve been ordering from this place for seven years now and I have never once got an order whether it be pizza wings or a sub that I did not like. You can’t find consistency like that anywhere not for seven years! And the delivery service is amazing. There was only one time I had an issue And honestly the guy could barely speak English so he couldn’t really read the streets. But other than that, one time in 7 years, I always get fast and friendly delivery service. So make sure to tip these guys/gales well! 😊

Seems like a great family run business. You can see them making the pizzas by hand in the back so the food is fresh and tastes great. I only go for the pizza but they have multiple other options like pastas and sandwiches too. The people are great and you can tell they care about the product. Must try place, meat lovers slice is amazing and make sure not to forget the garlic knots!

So I frequent Olisi's at least once a week Tonight I went in got 4 slices. I noticed a kid from Kenmore West(I am a Kenmore East Grad!! Boooo) order some slices, and was concerned about how much money he had. I went up and tried to pay for his slices, and I think the owner heard what I was doing, and said don't worry about it we got it. Just a great move! So thank you! Not to mention the pizza is just awesome!

Very nice woman cleaning the carpet when we walked in. Patiently took our uninformed orders. Our pizza came out phenomenal. We started with some slightly crispy, extremely fluffy garlic knots. The pizza logs, unknown to this west coaster, were perfectly cooked and delicious. Ugh, I want more. The buffalo wings.... solid. Juicy with some bites of crispy skin! Then the occasional chewy bite... but always flavorful.

It's the absolute best pizza you're going to find in the area, and it's even good by NYC standards. Stop promoting the goopy mess known as buffalo Pizza and support places like this. me and my wife come here every freaking week at this point. about $25 for 4 slices of pizza and two drinks is what we spend. and man… the slices they have in there are so good 😭. definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for some.

This was a true New York style pizza, and it was DELICIOUS! It was our first time to this pizza place and it was right around the corner from our new house, needless to say this is going to be a go to spot for us! We just got a house cheese and pepperoni and it was great, 10/10 recommend.

It is my first time trying this pizza. I got a slice of the deep dish chicken wing pizza and a slice of the stinger pizza. I also got a side of blue cheese. With a bottle of Diet Coke it came to $12.78. I’m not from Buffalo, but LOVE Buffalo pizza. I try to get some every time I’m here. The two slices were absolutely amazing. I’ll be coming here again. The place is very very clean and the employees were friendly and professional. The 4oz side of blue cheese cost me $1.50. I was a bit surprised by that, but I get it. I’ll be coming here again, and would recommend it to anyone anytime.

This is my local joint. Their pizza is always on point. And it's AMAZING! I've not been disappointed and I've gone around their menu extensively. The deep fried mushrooms beat any place my wife has gotten them and Olisis is the only place I'll eat them. Walk in for a slice, order ahead, delivery. Never a single issue. Service is great and fast! yes, it's NY Style. Yes, I'm from Buffalo originally. I LOVE those great cups of goodness you get with Buffalo-style pizza too. (Unfortunately, the only decent place in my area for that style is a rather large, local, northtown chain who is too big to put out a decent and consistent product) no matter, I'd have never found Olisis, otherwise. And I couldn't be happier about it. Even if you'll never surrender the Buffalo-style as your favorite, I guarantee, this will be your second favorite. Don't hesitate.

Olisi's is my new favorite pizza place. I can't comment on anything but the pizza (yet!) but what I've had has been fabulous. I love the thin, chewy crust - it's just delicious! My other favorite pizza place is pretty far from my house (out in Niagara Falls, NY) so it's nice to have this NY style pizza restaurant so close to me. Looking forward to trying the wings and the subs, too.

Our new favorite pizza joint! The dough they use tastes really good. It has more flavor and a better texture than all the other plain old blah doughs used everywhere else. They also use a good blend of Italian spices in their sauces and on their dough, which really adds to the overall taste. Their pizzas and calzones are very good. Side orders of fries are unsalted, but they include little salt packets so you can season to taste. Their fish fries are another tasty dish too that include all the fixings. Their delivery time from placing an order to receiving it is the quickest we've seen in this area. We've had food arrive in as little as 30 minutes from ordering to delivery. Great food and great service. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick pizza lunch (although they do have other options besides pizza). My 2 slices with tomato and broccoli were great NY style. My husband ordered a special vegan style small pizza which he loved. They really did it right for him and we appreciated it since it can be hard to find good vegan pizza. The restaurant was cozy warm, tables were clean, as was the restroom.

They've got me coming back multiple days in a row. Got this pizza as a slice the first day. Blew my mind. Got another. Came back the next day and ordered a pie. Not sure what it's called, but I tell them broccoli ricotta and they know what I mean. My God.

I had a great experience the first time visiting. Pizza was great, even my picky 9 year old loved it. I had a very sweet blonde girl cash me out and took my order on the phone. Very polite and friendly. Not sure what the reviewer James was talking about, perhaps he was upset that she didn’t seem interested in him. Will definitely visit this establishment again.

This is a review specifically for the chicken finger sub, because it is perfection. What makes it so great? For starters the bread is well toasted, which is so important for structural integrity. The chicken fingers are made specifically for the sub, perfectly cooked and coated to your preference. There are places I can't order chicken finger subs from now because Olisi's makes them so much better. It's that good.

This place has truly NYC style pizzas. We ordered supreme deluxe and it was worth the drive from the Williamsville area. The pizza was very thin, with a nice slightly crunchy crust. This place is right up the road from where I work. I had an extended lunch today, so I decided to place an order for pick up. There was a short line, and when I went to give my name, my food was ready to go. It was very clean and orderly. Everyone behind the counter was eager to help. It seemed like they had a well-oiled machine. Even the menu boards were nice and bright monitos. I ordered a chicken finger sub, and it did not disappoint. I've gotten chicken finger subs from other restaurants, and they always seem to skimp on something. My buddy ordered a stromboli and cheese bread, and he also was pleased. I can't wait to go back and bring the family.

This place has great pizza. I love the 20" house pizza that you really can't find anymore. Garlic knots are good as is the rest of the food they offer. The prices are very reasonable especially for the product they are selling. Try it out and I'll guarantee you will not be disappointed. It would be nice if the woman at the counter would smile a little more! She seems like a tough cookie.

Great Pizza! Family owned place. The mother is very nice when working the register. The sons mood is 50/50. Sometimes friendly, sometimes not. When the father cooks the pie it’s amazing. They’ve recently have a new pizza maker who isn’t as skilled, but makes an ok pizza. Definitely not up to par. Skimps on toppings and is making the crust slightly thicker than it should be. This NY pizza not Buffalo style. They recently hired a new girl with blonde hair with a terrible attitude working the register. Has no personality, always looks pissed off and not friendly at all. It’s almost enough not to go eat there anymore. If this city weren’t so limited on decent NY style pizza I’d start going elsewhere. Unfortunately, there one of the few shows in town that make a good pie and stuck dealing with the some staff with bad attitudes. They do hell of business there, so I’m sure they don’t care about customer service because they produce a great product and have limited competition. Regardless of staff, this pizzeria is still highly recommended.

I usually love Olivia's. Great thin crust pizza. Haven't gotten it in about 2 months. Got some tonight for Sunday football night and the crust was so thick and just made the pizza blah. I'm not sure if its just new employees or a new recipe but today was subpar for sure.

Wow !! I was in the mood for Pizza, but wanted NY Style as I haven't had it in a while. I was in the Tonawanda area and after a quick search Olisi's came up. Walked in and selection was plentiful, I asked the guy serving me what they had available and opted for a Steak Slice and Buffalo Chicken Slice. Grabbed a Monster Energy drink from the fridge and then was blown away by what came next. That'll be $18.65 please ?? .......for TWO SLICES and a drink !! I know the slices are larger and I'm sure the Monster is marked up a little over what it would cost at the Grocery Store but assuming the monster was lets say at most $3.65 that means you're looking at $7.50 per slice !!!! The Slices were very good and amongst the best NY Style i've had in a while, and I am willing to pay up to a certain degree but wow. I was impressed with the food, but i'll go somewhere that is in line with everywhere else in WNY.

Never had anything but praise for Olisi's but gotta share how disappointed I was with the Sausage Pepper and Onion Stromboli. I'd be surprised if there was even an ounce of ground sausage (not even crumbled) in it. Couple of mozz sticks, barely melted. Plenty of peppers and onions but they're not the star of the show are they? Hoping it was an off night. If it's cost of ingredients, I'd rather pay a higher price for a better product.

I've been going here for a while this is the second time they ran my card twice but this time it's taken a week they don't even care they were supposed to call you back and let you know what's going on I had to call them then I had to go in there to get a refund and it's still not back I would recommend not giving them your card I also asked the guy for compensation thought maybe I'd get a free pizza they basically just ignored it. I no longer will be a customer of this place.

I wanted to like this more. The pizza was under-cooked a bit and kind of a greasy bland. The wings were clearly frozen by the deep purple color of the bone when eating. The dark color of the meat seemed to indicate that the cooking oil may have been older. The taste of the food was okay, kinda standard nothing special. They have a huge lot with lots of space for parking. This used to be a John & Mary's location years ago. They had some decent coupons. I will try it again.

I stopped in to grab a few slices after traveling over 5 hours. They were getting ready to close. They had some old sorry looking slices left. I took two. It cost $10.01. I should have walked out. I sucked it up, went home, tried it only to toss in the garbage. That's a last for me.

I ordered an 18in cheese and pepperoni pizza and 20 wings. The pizza was okay I guess but I felt like there was too much sauce for a thin crust NY style pizza and made the center pretty soggy. The bbq wings also had a fishy smell to them in which I assume because it was Friday and fish fry's were being cooked that the wings were probably cooked in the same oil. (I hope that was the case and not spoiled wings)The point I'm trying to make is this was the 1st time I ordered from Olisis and it was definitely not a good experience. I sent a complaint almost 3 weeks ago and never got a response. 1 and done!!!!

Usually is pretty good but one of the most expensive places to get large pizza and 20 wings. last few times the wings were awful no difference between mild and hot dry, barely any sauce on either. Got 3 of these disfigured wings last time. For charging almost 2$ a wing not worth it. Won’t be back again.

Not worth the money or aggravation. We ordered 10 chicken wings extra crispy, medium, Sunday for pick up. When I picked them up I opened the container to find 10 very under cooked wings. You could see the skin and literally pull the skin on the wing. When I asked them if these were extra crispy they went and asked the young man cooking my wings and he said "yes, I put them in for the specific time required". Not sure what this meant, but you cook wings for time and what they look like; if they look under cooked, they are! There was also very little to no sauce on the wings. I asked the 2 female employees at the counter what I was supposed to do about these wings and they both looked at me, rolled their eyes and said sorry...that was it. I went home with the wings and put them in my toaster oven, made some Frank's hot sauce and butter on the stove and served them to my guest. Staff were rude and really didn't know what to do...here's a suggestion, cook the wings the right way, the temperature of the grease will go done because you are putting a frozen wing in there, so you may have to cook them longer. Also, instead of saying sorry, offer to make me a new order to my liking. You lost another customer forever

If you are looking for a new pizza place to try, good luck getting what you ordered. I ordered XL cheese and pepperoni. Was delivered with only cheese. So i called the store and informed them to see if I can get what I ordered instead. The lady told me there was nothing they could do about it. Didn't bother to apologize and was quite rude about it. You would assume a new business would do what they can to get their customer base up. (Not like i was asking for a miracle, i just wanted a pepperoni pizza lol). Since they made the wrong pizza apparently they cant make me the correct one. Oh well, ill stick with my usual pizza place, figured it was worth a shot to try a new place, but it wasnt worth the experience.

The lady that answered the phone had an accent which is no big deal but I didn’t understand one time and she started giving me attitude. I was being extremely nice because why not. She hung up on me for no reason. Then when I got there she was being stand offish. Just a grumpy person. Then come to find out the menu prices are wrong online and the pizza was a bit more expensive than I thought. Then we get the pizza and it was small when the pictures showed large New York style. Well I guess there is no small or medium. Large is the smallest; then xl then house. Had no idea. Was let down. But then the taste of the pizza was just basic as can be. Tough crust, sweet but basic sauce and cheese. Booooo

Ordered March 11th 2022. First and last time every eating at this place. Spent $50 on pizza, wings and garlic knots. Garlic knots tasted more like bread knots and were stiff like they sat out for awhile and super dry. The pizza had a ton of grease just sitting on top. My husband tried to dab it with a paper towel and it still had so much grease. The wings weren't extra crispy and were barely sauced. It was so bad we ended up bringing the food back. Some staff were smiling like it was funny but its not. They should be ashamed allowing something like that to be served. Me and my husband both feel sick. I'm surprised cause they had good reviews. Tastes ok… under cooked unacceptable. This pizza wasn’t flipped or anything in transport. If you can’t do it right, don’t do it. You can make subs and still have a business but this is unacceptable

One of the worst pizza experiences I have ever had. I ordered cheese slices, I received my slices and the cheese was half way off the pizza. It was soggy and greasy, I ordered a large fry which for some odd reason was the smallest option but costs more. Just horrible if you are a pizza lover, steer clear of this place

I got the large 18" cheese for around $26. A little steep in my opinion but I assumed it made up in flavor for its price; I was very wrong. I called ahead, but it was very difficult to hear what the lady was saying. There was a lot of background noise and the lady had a heavy accent making it difficult to order what I wanted (not insulting her but maybe being the call taker isn't the best idea). Also their three sizes are Large (smallest), XL, and House (largest). Paired with the difficulty of the phone, I was very confused on why the Large was the smallest size. Upon opening the box, it had the classic NYC pizza look. Although after tasting, the sauce was flavorless, and the cheese was very cold, and the dough was insufferable. It took a lot of effort just to take a bite and took even longer to chew. If you are someone who enjoys flavorless and cardboard like dough, this is the place for you. Also, I ordered the pie 20 minutes ahead and got there 2 minutes late, but the pie tasted like it's been sitting in room temperature for hours. However, the crust bite did impress me with its crispiness and flavor. But if you want good NYC style pizza, I would not recommend Olisi's.
