Il Caffè al Bicerin dal 1763 non è solo una caffetteria, ma un vero e proprio tuffo nel passato. L'atmosfera tipica torinese con il fascino d'altri tempi. Assolutamente da assaggiare è il bicerin, dove il caffè si fonde con il cioccolato e la panna. Locale assolutamente consigliato a chiunque voglia concedersi un momento di magia torinese.

Caffè storico, fatta mezz'ora di fila ma ne è valsa la pena. Ottimo il Bicerin ma anche il cornetto con crema al gianduia.

If there is only one cafe to visit in Turin, this is it. The place is small, constantly full, with guests lining up at the door. Bicerin is a layered drink with cold cream on top and rich hot chocolate coffee beneath. It is not stirred, just sipped slowly from top to bottom, bitterness and sweetness arrive together. Enjoy!

A visit to this caffé is a must when in Turin! You have to try their famous Caffé al Bicerin, which was actually invented here. I highly recommend reading about the place's and the drink's history on their website before or during your visit - it really helps you soak in the energy and tradition of the place. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, always happy to share recommendations which are the best. It gets busy quickly, but the line moves fast, so it’s worth the wait.

We were lucky enough to go in a moment when there was no one, so we got a table right away. We took a bicerin, a cappuccino and two gianduiotto croissants. They were very good and cruncy and for a good price compared to other places. The atmosphere is very classic and quaint, we liked it a lot. On another day we saw a very long line to enter, so I would suggest to go very early or in less crowded times.

A very small cafeteria with only about 8-9 tables, so be prepared to wait. Lovely atmosphere with marble tables: you can almost feel Cavour sitting here planning Italian unification.

The bicerin was an amazing find in Turin, it’s the perfect blend of warmth from the chocolate and coffee and cold cream on top. Don’t miss the zabaione either, it’s something really special. This place was historic and georgeous, the staff super warm and are doing their best considering the rotation of people. Don’t trust the negative reviews of tourists in the classical sense of the word - the ones that have a problem with a five minute wait and expect royal treatment regardless of how crowded a place is.

When I came to Turin, I knew I wanted to try a famous Bicerin, which is hot layered drink made of espresso, hot chocolate and cream. I found my way to Al Bicerin, a charming cafe serving up some warm, velvety Bicerin on this cool windy day in Turin. In America, everyone raves about Starbucks pumpkin spice coffee during the fall, but in my opinion it cannot compete with this layered drink to satisfy your coffee and chocolate craving. It definitely warmed me up on this cool breezy day in Turin. I also had a piece of their chocolate cake, which was a nice compliment to the drink and not too heavy.

If you wana try the famous Bicerin Drink then you must come here. The cafe is very small and on busy days you might need to wait quite some time. Staffs are nice and professional too but sometimes are overwhelmed with customers and orders. We tried couple of their cakes cookies and pastries all were good and tasty but the best was their Bicerin drink croissant with hezelnut cream fillings. If you are in Turin definitely you should try at least the Bicerin!

We had to queue outside before entering, but this was only between 5-10minutes - you could sit inside or outside and we chose inside. Inside is small and cramped but cosy, it adds to be atmosphere and history of the café. We ordered just 1 traditional bicerin with the biscuits. The drink was delicious! Advised not to stir to fully enjoy each layer of coffee, chocolate and cream. The biscuits were also VERY tasty and highly recommend! It's well worth a visit if visiting Turin/Torino.

My second time at the cafe for the Bicerin and nice courtyard feel. The service was friendly and the drink a good balance between chocolate, espresso and cream. Not sweet nor bitter and they kindly advised you not to stir the drink so that you could taste the different layers.

The hot chocolate is fine and we bought some of the famous Turin chocolates from the shop. It is quite pricey compare to what you pay in other chocolatteria around. We just like outdoor atmosphere facing the church of Consolata where my husband and I go to mass everyday when we were in Turin. The staff that always attended to us is always kind and helpful.

very cozy and warm place, very classy too. you have to go when it opens to be able to find seats. the staff is a little cold but there was a young woman who worked there, very smiling, very welcoming. I had the mythical coffee Le Bicerin, everything was very well presented and with generous quantities, the card also is available in English, french and italian. The prices are accessible. I highly recommend it

La brioche non era tra le migliori (il cioccolato un po' scadente), ma in compenso il cappuccino era buono ☕ Il locale presenta tavoli e arredamenti in stile inizio '900, il tutto avvolto in una bella atmosfera ♨️

Dopo una giornata passata tra le vie di Torino, stanchi e assetati ma motivati abbiamo deciso di fare la fila in questa antica caffetteria ( direi storica). Locale piccolo internamente dove si sta' veramente stretti ( ecco spiegata la fila). Essendo la prima volta che assaggiavo il bicerin non posso dire che fosse superlativo, buono o solo così così....a me è piaciuto ma non sono rimasto così entusiasta. I prezzi sono in linea con la fama del locale, e comunque è sempre un pezzo di storia di Torino da visitare. Quindi ne è valsa la pena .

Ci sono tornata dopo anni e ho trovato una squisita gentilezza del personale. Posto storico e vivande preparate con cura, la coda all' esterno è data piuttosto dalla cura nelle preparazioni che dai clienti. È cmq un esperienza da fare.

Il locale è molto bello. Un tuffo nel passato. Ero già stato altre volte a Torino ma non avevo mai provato il famoso " bicerin". Il prezzo è eccessivo, ma vista la location ci sta. Personalmente penso che a Torino si possano assaggiare delizie ben più gustose.

Posto piccolo ma rimasto molto autentico negli anni. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare circa 10 minuti per sederci all' interno ma ne é valsa la pena. Abbiamo provato il famoso Bicerin, uno dei più rinomati di Torino, accompagnato con dei biscotti diversi. La bevanda si rivela molto buona con contrasto caldo freddo e perfetto equilibrio tra cioccolato e caffè.

Il bicerin è una bevanda da provare assolutamente e dove se non ne locale storico dov'è stata creata? Vale la pena l'attesa, il locale ben curato e tenuto bene. Ottima anche la pasticceria. Si paga abbastanza, ma ne vale la pena.

Torino, stratificata opera d'arte che si riflette in quello che oggi é uno dei simboli della città, un capolavoro a dimensione di bicchiere, anzi di bicerin. E non c'è altro luogo se non il Caffè al Bicerin dal 1763 dove l'essenza di Torino si fa esperienza sensoriale, un sorso dopo l'altro, in un susseguirsi di temperature e consistenze contrastanti e disgiunte, ma che nel loro incontro svelano un'armonia che sorprende e meraviglia. Perchè questa é l'esperienza che si attraversa sorseggiando la storica bevanda in cui la forza del caffè si unisce al calore del cioccolato ed incontra il setoso abbraccio della crema di latte, in un susseguirsi di strati che prima catturano gli occhi e poi avvolgono il palato. Un percorso di consistenze che si snoda anche oltre i confini del bicchiere, grazie alla proposta di una selezione di cioccolatini e frolle: non solo delle dolci delizie per gratificare il senso del gusto, ma un invito a rallentare, una scusa per restare seduti qualche minuto in più a godersi l'atmosfera e provare a cogliere in un qualche dettaglio il segno del passaggio di personaggi illustri che un tempo sedevano a quegli stessi tavoli

Nulla di che! Locale storico, molto caratteristico, ma delusione riguardante il bicerin. Il caffè è molto lungo, insapore e la panna troppo fredda in contrasto con il resto. Lo proverò da altre parti per fare un confronto. Servizio con personale piuttosto freddo e distaccato.

È uno dei caffè storici molto Conosciuto a Torino, con un grande nome, ai suoi tavolini è stato seduto infatti anche il grande Cavour. Ci vai insomma per dire “ci sono stato” è sicuramente quindi i prezzi sono adeguati al rango del suo nome. Il locale è molto piccolo ed i tavolini quindi attaccati uno all’altro, vi consiglio i tavolini esterni almeno respirate! Servizio veramente sciatto, con cameriere che si sono lamentate in mezzo a tutti perché si stancano troppo, mi aspetto un servizio all’altezza del nome e dei prezzi alti del posto quindi decisamente male… Alla fine il famoso bicerin è almeno buono ma anche le cioccolate meritano, ci sono vari prodotti di pasticceria e anche la bottega storica di vendita di prodotti bio artigianali e cioccolato in vari formati. Ogni tanto si può fare ma direi è sopravvalutato rispetto sulla qualità dei prodotti e al servizio pessimo offerto anche come personale. Vi consiglio dopo anche una visita alla chiesa che si trova di fronte molto bella ed anch’essa storica con opere d’arte e tombe di importanti personaggi ed ecclesiastici torinesi.

Caffè Al Bicerin Entrare qui è come infilarsi in una parentesi dell’Ottocento: legno scuro, specchi antichi, aria di romanzo piemontese. La storia si sente, si respira, quasi ti osserva mentre sorseggi il famoso bicerin a strati, piccolo capolavoro torinese. Peccato per la realtà molto contemporanea della coda. Attese lunghe, spazi stretti, un pellegrinaggio più che una pausa. E poi i prezzi: decisamente alti, forse troppo per quello che si riceve, anche considerando il fascino del luogo. In sintesi: esperienza iconica, sì. Ma armati di pazienza e portafoglio allenato. Una tappa da fare una volta… non necessariamente ogni domenica.

Solitamen è pieno e si forma una piccola coda a lato del locale per poter sedersi e bere il famoso Bicerin, all'interno o all'esterno del locale (tempo permettendo). Il servizio è cordiale e cerca di smaltire la coda, rimanere gentile nonostante spesso i clienti provino a sedersi senza rispettare la coda o altri disguidi. Il bicerin è buono, così come i biscotti e gli altri prodotti offerti nel menu. Cade un po' il rapporto qualità prezzo. Il solo Bicerin è prezzato 8,40€, mentre con i biscotti 12,50€, l'attesa, il costo e il servizio, aumentano l'aspettativa che decade immancabilmente all'assaggio, semplice, rotondo, parere soggettivo ma difficilmente si ritorna.

posto molto bello, tavolini all’interno con atmosfera speciale. Boccio il bicerin: poca schiuma di latte, cioccolata liquida e acquosa, caffè “perso” nella cioccolata, biscottini che avevano preso aria. Zabaione (buono) con panna (ottima) ma costoso. Il bicerin è davvero deludente ma è un locale storico da vedere.

We sat inside as we wanted to experience the ambience. Waited in line for 5-10 minutes. Then sat at our table for over 30mins without anyone coming to take our order! We even tried to politely get someone’s attention but they were all running around serving everyone outside. In the end the Bicerin was very yummy but quite expensive for what it is. You then had to wait in a line to pay at the cash, which was also annoying to the servers and other people. The atmosphere was cool as it’s such a historical place. The service was dissapointing and frustrating. Maybe time to rethink the approach?

Abbiamo preso uno Zabajone e un cappuccino per la modica cifra di 14,80 euro Lo Zabajone 10,80 euro mentre il cappuccino 4 euro Prezzi decisamente spropositati, soprattutto per averli consumati fuori al gelo per evitare la coda di 40 minuti per sedersi. Tutto buonissimo per carità, ma negli anni i costi sono parecchio aumentati e il rapporto qualità prezzo non regge

Passato un sabato di fine settembre a Torino purtroppo insieme ad altre migliaia di turisti che hanno letteralmente preso d’assalto i caffè storici costringendo tutti ad una lunga coda per entrare. Il caffè al bicerin di fronte alla bellissima chiesa della Consolata dal lontano 1763 non fa eccezione. Si può, volendo, prenotare un tavolo ma non durante i week end. L’affollamento non è però l’unico male. Il famoso Bicerin si è allungato perdendo la sua cremosa consistenza e la cioccolata, che a menù viene declamata come fatta sciogliendo pezzi di cioccolato nel vecchio pentolino di rame, è diventata liquida come le commerciali cioccolate in bustina. Magari ai nuovi turisti stranieri piace più il gusto lungo del caffè americano e la cioccolata acquosa per cui essendo la maggioranza della clientela dettano legge distruggendo i piaceri nostrani di una volta. Peccato che non si riesca ad essere noi ad educare ma si preferisca subire

Provato solo perché curiosi da questo “bicerin” ma assolutamente sopravvalutato. Il bicerin non è altro che un mix tra caffè, cioccolata (di quelle in busta) e crema. Lo abbiamo accompagnato dalla torta alle nocciole immersa nella cioccolata (anche questa classica cioccolata della busta) e panna montata (già pronta, la panna montata fresca é tutta un’altra storia). 1 bicerin e 1 torta= € 18,50 Decisamente troppo, ma dai

Qualità scarsa rispetto ai costi. Servizio scarso nn attento, a chi arriva prima, si servono gli altri che arrivano dopo, magari sono clienti fissi e i turisti nn rispettati. Al tavolo si deve trovare un menù x renderti conto di cosa vai a pagare alla fine. Prezzi esagerati! Locale storico.

E anche noi siamo cascati nel trappolone di provare il bar storico per la bevanda storica...Ovviamente si fa la coda e ci viene chiesto se vogliamo un tavolo fuori al freddo dove non c'è nemmeno una stufa/fungo. Anche no. Il bicerin non sa di niente: troppo fredda la panna liquida sopra rispetto al caffe/cioccolata sotto, nessun sapore particolare, proprio niente di che, livello basso. Alto invece il livello del conto: 21,50 euro per due bicerin e una brioche con panna. Un consiglio alla signora alla cassa che manipola soldi e mette mano in cucina: lo faccia ogni tanto un sorriso.

Ho voluto provare il tanto decantato "bicerin" con l'aggiunta di alcuni biscotti e niente: il rapporto qualità/prezzo è davvero eccessivo. Peraltro, questo famoso "bicerin" sembra il capcioc (o "mocaccino") che prendo alla "macchinetta" del mio ufficio con l'aggiunta di panna. Per carità, da provare in nome della tradizione... ma se ne può fare anche a meno ed investire i 13€ in qualcos'altro.

Rude staff, many tables crammed in to maximise customers. All for a slightly more unique coffee that you could make at home with dark chocolate and lightly-whipped cream. The staff want you to finish your drinks and food as quick as possible. Just a production line. Barely had time to read the menu before being asked what I want. Not a single smile or a hello from anybody.

The service was really disappointing. For people coming here for the first time, the staff should be much warmer and more welcoming. This café has a long history and great value, and the staff should respect that by providing proper customer service. They need to understand how to treat guests with kindness and make them feel appreciated. A place with such tradition deserves better service and hospitality.
