Stellar place. We enjoyed everything about it- high level food, fresh, quality and well crafted meats that were perfected seasoned and perfectly cooked. My wife was impressed with her grilled dish, and I absolutely loved my nachos! Good drink prices and blends, exceptional attention to detail. Staff was very friendly and really went the extra mile to check on us for each stage of our visit. It seemed to really be a tea effort. Being a busy weekend, I also noticed they did a terrific job of not only having a good attitude across the board, but also keeping everything nice and clean.
Jonathan was our server and he was absolutely attentive. He checked on our table about 4 times. Even recommended items. Me and my boyfriend had burgers and flights. Everything was bomb. They also had every game playing which was nice. Really want to go back for a shake I was so full to get dessert. But 10/10
My bf and I like coming to eat here before going to the movies! We went in and sat at the bar top where Josh served us. He was super friendly and great at making sure we had a good time. We ordered the all you can eat wings for $30-35 per person. We tried the Thai Sriracha (sweet&spicy), Nashville Hot (dry rub), and Maple Bourbon Bacon (tastes like chicken and waffles)!! They serve a lot on the first plate so come with an appetite!
Upon entering, the staff were all incredibly kind and attentive, available to answer any of your questions. I had gone during lunch so it was relatively easy to get a table, but it does seem more limited towards seating so it could be a wait during dinner rush hours. The menu is focused on their burger and bacon offerings if that's what you're in the mood for but it was delicious! Feel free to ask about additions or customizations as well. My server was great at checking in with me and offering some recommendations as well. The atmosphere was great to be in, though given it's wide open wall windows and that it's on the second floor makes it look like it would look better after the sun goes down and more lights come on! My food was great, the portion of burger and fries easily filled me up and my cocktail was as refreshing as it sounded. The burger was cooked to a nice medium and was juicy when biting into it. The fries were a bit of a mixed bag with some being hot and crispy while others were still somewhat warm and floppy, but they came with their own made ketchup which was tasty! They have quite a variety of options and I would definitely come back to try more of their menu items!
They have a nice selection of drinks, both beer and cocktails. We got the Nachos with chicken and the BBB burger. Nachos were OK. They are thin chips which aren't great for Nachos. The added chicken seems just like pre made chicken breast strips cut and thrown on top. The burger was good, had great flavor and didn't need a bunch of sauce. Fries also were really good. I would come back again.
I am delighted to share my review of Slater's 50/50, a new gourmet hamburger establishment located adjacent to the AMC 18 Theaters at the Del Amo Fashion Center. This restaurant boasts a sports bar atmosphere, making it an ideal venue to relax and enjoy a beverage or indulge in a delectable gourmet burger. Our server, Ramiro, greeted us with a warm smile. We commenced our lunch with a side order of sweet potato fries accompanied by a pumpkin dipping sauce, which proved to be exceptionally delicious. My son and I opted for the renowned Lone Star Smoke Burger, which exceeded our expectations. Alternatively, any burger can be transformed into a bowl. My wife selected the rosemary turkey burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had the pleasure of meeting Kia, the manager, who extended a warm welcome and expressed enthusiasm for our visit. We certainly intend to return in the future!
This is my second time here in 3 weeks. The service, food and atmosphere was excellent. I ordered the “The Backyard Classic” again because it was so delicious the first time. I ordered it medium and that’s exactly how it came out. Fry’s were hot and just as good. I sat at the bar and my bartender who has black braids and a super hottie took care of me again. She always checked on me and made sure I was taken care of. I read a lot of complaints about having to wait 20-30 mins for food. Hey, this is not a fast food restaurant. If you want fast food, take your butt to McDonald’s! Will be back again very soon!

Our waitress was really friendly and professional. She was great. The strawberry shake was awesome (better than In n Out) and the burger was even tastier than expected. I was not too thrilled with the tater tots. They were bland although my friend liked them. Anyway, I'll definitely be back!

Wifey and daughter been here before and today was my first experience. They had great burger and fries, beer on tap, and other delights. Today is football Sunday. The Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears game was being televised on several monitors surrounding the interior of the restaurant. It got quite loud especially during a touchdown, Green Bay in this case. The vibe is high and the energy is pumping for game day. Fans and patrons were very considerate of each other while celebrating their teams. We had a good time even though football isn't really our favorite sport. The service was great and our waiter was accommodating as he possibly could while peak times. Restaurant is clean, organized, and pretty cool to check out especially during a game day. I wouldn't mind coming back to check out some other items on the menu like their wings.
Stopped in for a burger and shake and honestly wasn’t expecting much, but wow—this place blew me away. The burger was juicy and packed with flavor, every bite better than the last. Then I tried the s’mores shake and it was thick, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet to hit that craving! You can tell they put care into what they serve. Garlic fires were delicious!! Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to whenever I’m craving a real burger and shake combo. Shoutout to our server Randell thanks for taking care of us appreciate the love in the shake!
I got this at their food truck so I can't speak for the restaurant proper. My burger was thick and juicy with fresh veggies and soft bun. The flavors came together well. The fries were pretty average but good.
We went into Slaters (second time - first experience mid) looking for happy hour based on the sign, and Rachel immediately greeted us and explained the happy hour menu. It is limited, just be aware. However, we needed to get to our movie, and she offered to have us sit right near the front so she could serve us herself. We did, and she was extremely efficient and attentive. Our food took a bit to cone out from the kitchen (fries and sausages) and she checked on us three times, finally notifying the kitchen that we were trying to catch a flick. When it came, food was good. Excellent service, and redeemed our previous experience. All staff were friendly as well.
Popped in before my movie for a quick bite. Typical sports bar. On this particular visit there was a small mix up in who I was being served by. In the end the barman checked on my order and served my “backyard classic” burger. Patty done medium and the brioche bun was warm and sweet. Perfectly good burger before the show!

Very yummy, a lot of good variety in food and amazing burgers. The side selection is amazing and the service was not so swift but the presentation was amazing and the employees were awesome. Will come again!
We often grab a quick meal and a cocktail or two before a movie. Slater's 50/50 has been long awaited. The barrier closing the space off and advertising the new restaurant that had been up since before the shutdown of 2020 has finally come down. We were very excited to try it out. It looks like a bar and grill with lots of tvs showing sports games. Its menu is very similar to that of Lazy Dog. I even ordered a fried chicken salad, which read as very similar to a dish at Lazy Dog. However, the restaurant, the dish, and the service all commpares very poorly. The service wasn't attentive or smooth. The chicken wings were decent. My salad was ok- fresh enough. The fried chicken needed some extra sauce. The dish also had what tasted and crunched like rocks. When I finally saw our waiter - I said that to him, but he insisted they were "cornnuts". I love corn nuts- ah, these were more like fried un-popped popcorn kernels- the ones you find at the bottom of the bucket. See the photo. I'm lucky to have not broken a tooth. We saw the waiter a total of three times in 45 minutes. Once to order, at the 26 minute he came by with our drinks. He made no comment about when the food would be ready. At the 35 minute mark, our food was delivered but not by our waiter. We were short utensils. We never were asked or got refreshed drinks. At the 45-minute mark, we saw our waiter and flagged him down. We got the needed sauce after we got our check. We managed to leave soon after and, yes, in time for our movie. Maybe the issues are because they just opened. However, I won't visit here again. There are plenty of other restaurants to try,
I found this place completely by accident back in August 2025. I saw their banner advertising $3 beers and I was blown away. I went inside and spoke to the bartender and was informed that they had $3 select 16oz beers...Coors Light, Miller Lite, and Michelob Ultra. They also have $3 well mixed drinks. Actually the day I found this place, I had a conversation with a friend about the poor state of bars and restaurants in our area. I lamented that most places seemed to be charging WAY TOO MUCH for certain beers. If you charge $6 or $7 for a 12oz Bud Light, that's INSANE! So when I saw Slaters 50/50's $3 beers, I was overjoyed. Cut to yesterday, we came in for my son's 21st birthday to drink and watch some football. We ordered a bunch of $3 16oz Michelob Ultras, and guess what...when they arrived, they were poured into some fancy Stella Artois 14cl glasses. Problem is, I'm not dumb. I knew this wasn't a 16 oz glass...I did a little digging and found out that these 14cl glasses are actually 13.5 ozs, so we're getting 2.5 less ozs on each beer. And you may say, "Hey, it's $3.00!" And that's all well and good, but when I pay for a 16oz beer, I expect a 16oz beer. If you're going to market a 16oz beer and you give me a 13.5oz beer, that's false advertising and it's dishonest. I had hoped to really enjoy this place and recommend it to people, but if this is the sort of game they're going to play with their customers, I don't want any part of it. We ordered some burgers and fries as well. And the strangest thing was done to our burgers. The cook shoved a steak knife into the top of the bun. So when you took a bite, the ketchup and mustard that were underneath came shooting out of the hole the knife created. So lesson here is don't shove a knife in the top of the bun...don't do that. Another thing about this particular Sunday, when we first walked into the bar, they had a DJ who was playing his music at a ridiculous high volume...ABSOLUTELY EAR SHATTERING LEVELS!!! If you are playing your music that loud, people can't hear each other when trying to talk to one another. We just really want to watch football and have a good time, not bleed from the ears.
Visited around 8pm on a Thursday. There was only 2 staff and 1 bartender. The employees were very kind and friendly. The food was the issue. The nachos were cold as if they were shutting down the hot pots in the back. They offered to replace the nachos with a fresh one. The new one was also cold, the cheese and meat were cold. The meat seemed as if it was sitting all day in the warmer some parts looked burnt. The wings were okay. They were warm. The wings were also fried extra hard. The drinks the bartender made were amazing. I would come back only for drinks not food. I didn’t try the burger but that’s what everyone else ordered. One customer said the burger wasn’t seasoned at all.

Unfortunately, my first experience with them was unsatisfactory. I live in the area so I ordered Uber Eats. The jalepenos description said (4) pieces and I received 3. The burgers were to be medium well and they were drastically undercooked. Also, every food box was dirty with oil, ketchup and other smudges on them. I didn't order anything with ketchup on it. Just DIRTY! I clearly am afraid to order from them again. Please beware. Of course Uber Eats will not reimburse my money because they are a sham of a company. I was excited to try a new place.

Ordered 2 shamanimal fries from Uber as pickup. Order is nothing like it looks in photos. No shredded cheddar, just fake cheese. No beef chunks, just a minimal amount of tiny bacon bits, no jalapeños or garnish, just a ton of thousand island dressing. For God's sakes it's not even the same kind of fries. False advertisement and wont even pick up their phones in the middle of the day. Dont entertain them with your business Ive attached photos of what was advertised and what was served. Scam artists.
This is horrible. Someone at my table ordered an orange juice and it was so sour and you could tell it was old. We ordered lemonade instead and the waiter never brought it to us. I ordered boneless wings and they came back bone in. There is barley anyone here and there are many dirty tables with half drunken water cups. Most of the people that were actually here were at the bar. The waiter wasn’t really friendly and she had an attitude the whole time she served us. The music is super loud for no reason and cutting out a lot. The only thing available on the kids menu were the miny sliders and chicken tenders. Other items the waiter said were unavailable were not crossed out on the menu. Do not recomend, would not eat here again.
After seeing great recent reviews, I was absolutely disappointed. Our party of 4 tried the slater burger, best darn cheeseburger, and lone star burger. All were dry and overcooked. The meat was dry, the fries were cold and tasted reheated, fried pickles were over battered, and the brioche buns were thick and dry, too. It took us over 35 minutes to receive our order. Water tasted like it was from the tap. A chair had food on it that we had to clean ourselves. Tables and menus were grimy, and the bathroom floors were beyond sticky. To top it off, the music is blaring so loud we couldn't hear across the table. Will not return and do not recommend it.

Absolutely the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Our server was completely disorganized—she never brought us any drinks or even asked if we wanted to order any. She didn’t seem to know her own menu, charging me for a side that was supposed to be included with one of the meals. She also charged us for items we never ordered and seemed unable to handle basic transactions. The staff appeared intoxicated and unprofessional throughout the evening. When I asked for a refund, the waitress wandered around the restaurant, visibly confused, before eventually providing three different receipts with three different totals. When I requested to speak with a manager, the same clearly intoxicated woman claimed to be the manager herself. To make matters worse, I later discovered I had been overcharged by $51. I initially left a tip based on the incorrect total, which makes the situation even more frustrating. Overall, it was an incredibly unprofessional, uncomfortable, and disappointing experience—especially since I had brought a friend from out of town hoping to impress them with this restaurant.
