Looking forward to trying Wilsons! As i grew up right up the hill from them, and when i was a kid, it was pioneer chicken, then a few other things until Wilsons opened. The reviews look great and we live in Bakersfield now, but get back home every 3-4 months as its so close, so we will try it next time we are down there, as im sure it will rock, as im sure ill keep my 5 star as i have a feeling it will be, and just like tom boys in lawndale all is made fresh while you wait, which is best really. This place has been here for the longest time, they serve the best Chicken Teriyaki dish ever in the South Bay!!! The Beef Terriyaki is also good but my fav is the Chicken Teriyaki with Jalapeno, nice and spicy!!!. Ordered other items on their menu which are all good but next time you go, try the Chicken Teriyaki dish, it comes on top of rice and side of salad, yummy!!!

The breakfast burrito was sooooo bomb! The crispiness of the bacon and hash browns are perfect and all the ingredients are very proportionate, which I believe makes a great breakfast burrito. I also had the chicken teriyaki plate which was very fresh and appetizing. I crave it all the time but this place is so far from me 😭 The owners and staff are such nice and friendly people and their food tastes like it was made with love. It was cash only before, but they take card now!

The place is tiny. Only 3 tables in the establishment. There was a lot of traffic as far as people coming in and ordering to go and so did we. But the staff were welcoming, fast and efficient. My son ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and he said it was delicious. The portions were pretty big and fairly priced. The combo came with a small fry and 16 oz drink. The drink was like a kid size at any other establishment but the fries would have easily been a large at a McDonald's as far as size goes. Their menu had plenty of choices on burgers and a few other items. Our hotel is literally a block away walking distance and we would definitely return if we ever stayed around here again.

The Best breakfast burritos, and with my favorite salsa to go with them. Miss this place, wish I had one nearby where I live now. They also have great chicken teriyaki and really tasty chicken strips with fries.

Simple, consistently delicious burgers and fries the best!. It's a fixture in the neighborhood. Since it's near Union Square, it gets a bit of tourists. The employees are really nice. Also, you get free pickles! The burger is really fresh but the patty is lacking something that I can't put my finger on. It's not seasoned too much but I appreciate its simplicity and freshness. Also, make sure you get the fries and/or onion rings. They have those fried bits in there, hmm.

My wife loves the chicken teriyaki plate (spicy w/onions), brought her here years ago. Our food stop when we're in the area.

Okay burger joint. It's the hangout for the high school kids mostly.

They use what seems to be Hormel chilli … I could if made them myself. Only thing that was good was my cold coke.

Bad Service, Very Expensive prices, not to be recommended

Very disappointing tonight after 25 years of going there. The order was wrong and then wanted to charge us for 2 meals instead of one. I was shocked after the period of time I've been going there when it was obviously wrong. Even drove back twice to get the right meal and when she wanted to charge me and asked me to bring other meal back...I walked out.

Rip off pastrami has very little meat like eating pickles and mustard . IDE rather go to Steve burgers on carson and crenshaw .

We went in for lunch yesterday, 9-26-19, and were waiting for 5 minutes in line just for someone to come to the register to help us waiting in line. And when the lady came to take orders she walked over from handling food with no gloves to grabbing cash and then a chicken patty out of the freezer behind the cash register to throwing it in the basket used in the fryers behind the register. Hygiene is of no importance here, and from where I was standing I could see chicken sitting on a counter top with the person in the back handling it gloveless as well. We didn't even eat here after just watching the way they handle their food.

Tried to order. No one ever came to the counter. Lady in back looked at me and then just looked away. Was 1st and last time I will go here.
