Amazing food! Best pho and salt & pepper chicken ever! The pho broth is super clear, rich and flavorful – you can tell it’s been simmered for hours. Beef is tender and juicy, noodles are perfect. The fried chicken is crispy outside, juicy inside, and the basil flavor is on point! Super friendly staff, fast service, great price. Will definitely come back! Highly recommend! 🔥
I had the grilled pork pho at Lotus Pho in Tahoe, and it was absolutely superb—rich, flavorful, and incredibly comforting. It’s a perfect choice for a cold day. Although the restaurant was full, the service was still fine. I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re craving a warm, satisfying bowl of pho.
Pho Lotus feels like a warm, aromatic pause button in the middle of a busy day. From the moment the bowls hit the table, steam rises with that unmistakable perfume of slow-simmered bones, star anise, and ginger. This is comfort with intention. The pho is the star. The broth is clear yet deeply layered, clean on the sip but lingering on the finish. You can tell it’s been given time, not rushed. The beef is tender, sliced just right, and cooks gently in the hot broth without losing its bite. A generous plate of herbs arrives alongside, crisp bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeños, and lime that let you tune every bowl to your exact mood. The bun platter holds its own too. Char-grilled beef brings smoky edges, the egg rolls crackle with each bite, and the noodles stay light instead of clumping. Everything balances sweet, savory, and fresh without drowning in sauce. Portions are satisfying without being heavy, service is friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe is casual, clean, and unpretentious. It’s the kind of place you come for a quick lunch and end up planning your next visit before you’ve finished the last spoonful.
This place is a machine. An awesome machine. We stopped by, they found us room at a table during tourist mayhem, and we absolutely loved our meal. I didn't catch the name of our server, because different people brought you different things. And, that was ok, because everything came out perfectly. I got the P2, and wife got the P4, and we loved them both. She got a Thai Tea and I just had a Diet Coke. P2 is the rare steak pho, and P4 is the rare steak pho with meatballs. My meal was incredible, and pictured below. Huge bowl, but I destroyed it. I was too hasty in diving into mine to take a picture of hers, I guess. Wife loved hers, but ended up just making a dent in it. Nice sized portions. I saw people come in and have to wait, but that wait was brief, even with a packed house. The place has a very energetic atmosphere, with fun music and cool walls in the dining area. You might think you are walking into tourist-quality, just OK food, but I, and the other 75 people in there, would beg to differ. You are discovering a gem within the multitude of places that might be that average tourist food. I am no pho expert, but my wife is, and she said it was stellar. Parking was tough for us, but it was worth the fight in finding a spot. I highly recommend this place for a nice warm meal to warm you up from outside, and see you there (the next time we are in the area)...
Super delicious and busy spot! We ordered the fresh spring rolls with grilled chicken, sweet and sour tofu, salt and pepper shrimp, lotus pho egg noodle soup, and shrimp noodle soup — everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. A great place to warm up and enjoy comforting, authentic Vietnamese food in Tahoe.
Cold outside but my soul got a warm hug from this place. Showed up sometime between breakfast and lunch and got seated right away. The pho arrived quickly — hot, comforting, and possibly blessed by the noodle gods. Friendly and quick service. Only feedback: I wish there were a bit more noodles to match the generous portion of meat. 10/10 would let this place emotionally support me again on a chilly day.
Awesome food! The owners aré very fríendly and kind , perfecto when you are starving 'cause the are really fast. Delicious noodles , orange chicken our fav. And stir tenderloin really really tasty.
Love this place. My husband and I go several times throughout the winter season. The best way to warm up after a long day of snowboarding is with a big bowl of pho! Food is delicious, staff is super friendly, atmosphere is instagram cute. Definitely recommend
Great place. The place was bustling and amazing service, we got our food in around 15 minutes despite the rush. The waitresses are so nice! Would come here again
Great local spot for delicious pho after a day on the mountain. Service was fast and the rare beef pho was excellent. Will come back!
SO MUCH BETTER than the rating. We come back every time we’re in the area. The staff is super friendly. And the food is amazing. I tried their special “Oxtail” pho 🍜. Incredible. Really good flavor combined with the pho we love. Until next time @LotusPho 🫶🏼😋
They was packed when we got in. Quick service, nice atmosphere. The pho is delicious, taste just right but wished they have a bit more proteins. I’ve had alot of pho before but this one is definitely a come-back spot.
As an avid pho eater and frequent stateline visitor this place could not be more worth the visit. Great broth, noodles, and fix-ins. Even better vibes. Come here if you are hungry and cold!
4 of us went here for dinner. They have a good mix of Pho/Bahn Mi/Chinese food. We got an assortment and it was all tasty. The staff was helpful and responsive. Prices were normal for the area.
Very good. We're from out of town and stayed across the street at Forest Suites. I was craving Pho & so glad we came here. Ordered Rare Steak Pho. Friendly and fresh! Thank you!
I had the wonton pho and seriously some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. And the portions are really big. I went to great measures to bring my leftovers back on the plane to Missouri!!!

My wife and I were interested in trying something new for lunch. We discovered the Lotus Pho restaurant. It was our first experience with Vietnamese food. We felt very welcomed their and the server was happy to help us with our selections. I had the Wor Wonton Soup and found it to be an exciting new taste sensation. The prices were moderate and the portions very filling. Next time we are in Tahoe, we will stop by again.
This is a great pho spot! Visited during a ski trip and it’s great after a long, chilly day on the mountain. We really enjoyed our brisket & rare steak pho and the fresh rolls are sooo good. It gets pretty crowded during peak dinner time so you might have to wait 15-20 min for a table, but they move quick.
We picked up takeout. It was super fast. Order was correct. They have several vegan options. We got the vegan pho, vegetable and tofu chow fun, and the salt and pepper tofu. The tofu was oddly good. They should give more sauce with the portion of tofu but still very good. The soup broth was nice, not too complex but a nice flavor. The noodles were great. Just the right amount of sauce/flavoring. Texture of the noodles were great. This is the type of place that’s a go to staple.
Cozy spot with great food and a fun atmosphere. The pho was clear, flavorful broth, tender beef, and fresh noodles and herbs. The fried wontons and spring rolls were crispy and tasty, perfect for sharing. Loved the colorful umbrella décor—it adds a warm, lively vibe. A solid go-to for comforting Vietnamese food. It is not exceptional but I go back there for the food
Soups chock full of goodies. Giant banh mi. Meat could be better quality. Pork was a bit grisly. Food not super hot. No lunch prices. Overall very good.

Went during Labor Day weekend so of course wait was long. But it was upsetting that other people were getting seated ahead of us even though our names were on the list before others. Should always read these reviews and go with your gut because even after reading I still ordered the shaken beef. It tasted like beef that’s been left out, frozen, and then cooked frozen not thawed and served rare. I asked the server if they could make it more medium he said that’s how it is cooked. I was quite disappointed. Only good item we ordered was the tofu stir fry. I ate as much cooked pieces as I could find. Some of the staff were nice.

Instead of the nearby American food, we were craving Asian food. So we came across this restaurant near our casino hotel. I should have ordered the rice plates or the fried noodle dishes because their pho was way too salty for me. According to my wife, the Thai iced tea was watered down. We arrived late almost towards closing time so the service wasn't as great. Even though they close at 9:00 pm, they turned down walk-in customers 10 minutes before closing and accepted only to-go orders.
