Amazing dinner... we had a delicious tartare as an appetizer, followed by a mixed grill with picanha, fillet, and sirloin—delicious! The place was very welcoming, and all the staff were kind and helpful, smiling, and friendly. If you're in Trecate, you can't miss Resi. Absolutely worth a try!!! Excellent value.

Very nice restaurant! It's perfect for evenings with friends, banquets, and various celebrations, or even just a quiet dinner with your girlfriend. The young and friendly staff is always ready to accommodate your requests. I always go there for the meat, which is excellent, cooked on an Argentinean grill by a true Argentinean! The food is excellent, and choosing is always difficult... The desserts are top-notch!

Along the Ticino River, both after Trecate and near Galliate, there are numerous restaurants. Among them, in San Martino di Trecate, is the Da Resi restaurant/grill. There's some confusion about its exact location; the Google My Business listing says: Anico, Località Bosco D, 28069 San Martino (NO). If you search for the restaurant on Google Maps, you'll end up in the woods, and as for signs, coming from Novara, there's not a single one. To find the restaurant, coming from Boffalora toward Novara, right next to the San Martino sign on the right, there's also a sign advertising "Da Resi," but on a rainy evening, it's hard to spot. Again, don't trust Google Maps because the route indicated will take you there, but it's impassable and can only be seen with satellite view. Upon arrival, there's a large parking lot, perhaps not the most convenient for those with mobility issues, but a convenient ramp near the restaurant seems to be helpful for wheelchair users. Unfortunately, at the end of the ramp is an emergency exit that opens onto the outside—not very convenient! The restaurant is on two floors. Watson and I decide to stay on the ground floor, which has a fireplace and a large window overlooking the parking lot. The walls are made of large stones and well-kept walls with rustic trattoria-style furnishings. The staff is very young and, although not very well-trained, courteous and helpful; one of the young men is particularly efficient. We ordered two mixed grills (served on a cast iron brazier with embers keeping the grill warm), a bottle of Fratelli Povero Barbera d'Alba, a bottle of mineral water, a sorbet, a cheesecake, and two coffees for €88. The grills were reasonably priced (€25 each), tasty and well-portioned. The wine, desserts, and coffee were a little more expensive than expected, but that's understandable. If you like grilled meat, this is the place for you (they also serve two sauces and a sort of capricciosa salad, which is very useful for cleaning your mouth between cuts). The professionalism of the service could be improved; although eager, it's more suited to a younger clientele than a slightly older one. The road signs need to be revised.
