Abbiamo scelto il Grotto Mazzardit come location per il nostro matrimonio. Non avremmo potuto scegliere di meglio! Andrea è stato favoloso, ci ha seguito passo passo ed accontentato ogni nostro desiderio. Non aggiungiamo altro sulla location perché basta uno sguardo per innamorarsi, staff super gentile educato disponibile, servizio impeccabile! Lo chef bravissimo TOP in tutto!! Siamo venuti diverse volte penso sia uno dei migliori posti per mangiare sulla riva del Lago Maggiore Una cucina di alta qualità secondo me la chicca sono i Plin, una favola assolutamente da provare.....anche tutto il resto veramente buono il personale di sala molto attento e molto simpatico Torneremo di sicuro, consiglio a tutti una visita

Sono anni che frequento questo posto è mi sono sempre trovato bene, ma quest’anno i ragazzi del Grotto Mazzardit si sono superati, molta attenzione ai dettagli, piatti molto di carattere e d’impatto, visitando la cucina abbiamo notato il nuovo forno a brace della Josper che non ci aspettavamo di certo, con una brigata di ragazzi giovani e molto preparati. Cosa dire non vedo l’ora di tornarci ed assaggiare il resto del menu. Bravi bravi bravi

Raramente assegno il massimo punteggio, ma quando pranzare diventa un'esperienza non posso fare altro. Location facilmente raggiungibile in macchina, con ampio parcheggio gratuito. II ristorante ha una vista mozzafiato sul lago Maggiore! Il servizio è attento. Il personale sa cosa consigliarti sia cibo, sia vino. Le pietanze sono semplici, ma preparate con tanto amore. Gusti precisi e molto comfort. Consiglio a tutti questo ristorante, che sia un pranzo di famiglia, una cena romantica o un evento con gli amici! ❤️

Located directly at Lago Maggiore, the terrace offers great views on the lake. We were there early June so there wasn’t too much traffic on the road next to the restaurant, but not sure how noisy this could be during high season. During our stay they played lounge music which in combination with the views made for a great setting. Food was excellent and not limited to the every-day-choices (the artichokes on goat cheese were delicious for example).

I miei piatti mi sono piaciuti moltissimo, alcuni amici però non hanno gradito troppo i loro. Porzioni abbastanza piccole

Bel posto con staff cordiale e competente. Posto barca alla boa dove ti vengono a prendere con il gommone. Anche posteggi per auto disponibili. Vista lago imperdibile.

Non andate durante le feste!!!! In giornate normali il servizio è ottimo!! Il bar di sotto ci ha servito lo spritz annacquato fatto con vino alla spina, una “tazzina di patatine”: 8€ per lo spritz. Quando ho brontolato, almeno non me lo ha fatto pagare!!! Può far fessi gli svizzeri!!!

IN BREVE: location molto bella, pesce fresco e buono, cani più che benvenuti, manca l'attenzione ai dettagli. Più nello specifico.. CUCINA: piatti belli e ben presentati. Abbiamo preso antipasti e primi, il pesce se assaggiato singolarmente era davvero buono, ma si perdeva nei primi a cui mancava una spinta in più (tagliolini ai gamberi e spaghetto alle vongole). Antipasti nulla da dire DETTAGLI: ecco alcune cose da migliorare per rendere una location bella e dal buon potenziale più apprezzabile: - attenzione al menù: se mi scrivete tagliolini e spaghettone quadrato, questi sono i formati di pasta che mi aspetto di trovare nel piatto. Non uno spaghetto normale e una cosa che di certo tagliolino non è. - servizio: ho chiesto un calice di vino extra alla cameriera che ha risposto di dover chiedere ad uno degli uomini in servizio e non a lei. Capisco la divisione dei compiti, ma piuttosto che sia la cameriera a mandare al tavolo chi di competenza (carina la cameriera ad essersi poi scusata per la gaffe) - esterno: a cena finita è servito il flash del telefono per arrivare alla macchina... un lampione ad illuminare il camminamento sarebbe cosa gradita - conto: ci è stato presentato lo scontrino di un altro tavolo per errore, quindi controllate che stiate effettivamente pagando la vostra consumazione. - sala: un pochino di cura in più nella pulizia dei convettori molto impolverati e delle ragnatele vicino alle luci. PREZZO 117€ 2 antipasti, 2 primi, 2 calici di vino, 1 dessert

Cena con un'amica, cibo ottimo decisamente bene preparato e ingredienti top. Servizio gentile, ma un po' lento e con qualche pecca probabilmente dovuto al fatto che erano solo in due. Decisamente pochi per un posto così e soprattutto per i prezzi che pretende. Peccato, ma gli daremo una seconda possibilità sicuramente

Siamo stati molto bene, il cibo era ottimo. Personale molto disponibile. Abbiamo passato un buon pranzo in ottima compagnia in un ambiente fantastico.

Ristorante con terrazza ed interni direttamente sul lago Maggiore; è all'interno di un area dotata di un parco ombreggiato ed attrezzato, di un bar e di una spiaggia. Cibo buono, un pò alla francese; personale attento, un pò frettoloso. Lista dei vini con prezzi stratosferici ma il bicchiere di Lugana aveva un prezzo normale

The food is OK, not above average. Totally unpersonal service: no welcome, no smile, no real contact between waiter(s) and customers. We were serviced/served by 4 different waiters. All of them were busy and efficient, but were missing the most important part: communicate with your customer. The menu was Italian language, and translation had to be done using our phone, where we could pull up a menu in 6 different languages. We ordered, the food came quickly, we ate and paid and left.

Amazing food with poor service in beautiful location. We went for dinner in July, which is obviously tourist main season. The staff was very busy on the packed terrace and therefore not very attentive. We had a table in the middle of the terrace, meaning staff would rush by all the time which felt a bit uncomfortable. The food was amazing. We’ll come back, but either for lunch, during the afternoon or off season for a better service experience.

Was there without the reservation. Got the seats inside which were a bit too hot on that day. The restaurant was pretty full, took some times for the food. They were too busy to come to ask if we need more drinks ...I meant if they asked, they coukd make a higher sale on our table 😉 and it's a kind of unprofessional for me to be served a tiramisu with a normal table spoon which not even fit to put in the cup. So make sure that you got the right (tea) spoon for the next time. Anyway, the positive point is that they speak also good English and made our evening turned easier for us. Food were yummy, first time in my life to get a beef Tatar without bread 🤣 Steaks and BBQ chicken were great. The Pasta also a good choice. The lake mixed is recommended for the fish lover. Their fried also good. Coconut Panna cotta is so so, Tiramisu is way much better. Nice view, big parking space, can also access with the boat. They accept both cash and credit card.

Quiet nice ristorante close to the Swiss/Italian border. Servers were really nice but a little bit confused at times. Food was simply fantastic. The Carbonara was one of the best Ive ever had. Beef was on point, side dish perfectly prepared. From a Swiss point of view the price is adequate, for Italian standards rather expensive. Very nice lakeview, big parking lot. Will surely return here.

Sono ritornata volentieri in questo bel ristorante perché mi ero trovata molto bene; ma non so se sia cambiata la gestione perché il servizio é stato poco efficiente e non all'altezza del coperto pagato. Il personale è poco accogliente e clima teso fra di loro. Le bottiglie di acqua non sigillate per un costo 3.50 euro ci sembra veramente esagerato.Hanno dimenticato un ordine e le loro scuse non mi sono apparse sincere anzi erano abbastanza indifferenti all'accaduto. Peccato perché il cuoco è davvero bravo e la location è veramente bella.

We have seen the good and bad reviews and in a desperate need for a nice place to eat we took a chance. It truly is a nice place to eat. You will see a nice interior with a beautiful view over the lake. Though we also saw a restaurant that can use some better management to get in control. We came in late without reservation, but got our food very quickly. That was nice, but after that we experienced a major lack of communication. Most of it came from our end. For example when we had to request the dessert menu, we timed 15+ minutes until we changed our minds and stood up to just pay for the bill. Prices are not the cheapest, but not too high. The food was excellent and nicely presented. Also, the ventilation is nice. On a regular basis you feel the air flowing when the many waiters are walking nervously by your table. This restaurant is busier trying to survive than politely serving their customers from their overflow. I wouldn’t come again, but if there’s is absolutely no other restaurant available, this one at least does the job. Sort of.

The restaurant was in a beautiful setting. We turned up without a reserved table, but were able to sit inside. Even with all the windows open it was still very hot. Some ceiling fans would be a good idea. But beware, if you have the big T Bone steak for two it's going to cost you approx £100 just for steak, and was very tough and chewy as well. Our bill for just one course was €131.00. I think that's taking advantage of tourists to the extreme, and would never return for any reason.
