The food was absolutely amazing but they got really busy and I kind of think they are not used to having that many customers. We came in about 15 people deep. Then about 7 to 8 more people came and it took forever

The woman who helped us here was very friendly, very attentive, and went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. I didn’t catch her name, but she was a wonderful employee! (She had brown hair and 4 kids in 4 years 😉)

Got a #1, a chicken strip basket, and ordered a chicken strip kids meal. Didn't get the chicken strips for the kids meal. Tried calling, no answer and no return call after 24 hours. The manager got a hold of me a couple days later and worked out a correction. Bumped to 5 star as the food is good, and the efforts to make things right were appreciated

Busy and friendly. Didn't have bananas after I paid for my Split. They ended up giving me a sundae as an apology. So nice.

I've been here twice and everytime I've ran in to one of the employees Peggy and she was so helpful and such a sweet individual to talk to . The food was pretty good too.

After a long day in Squaw Valley, we were welcomed to a friendly staff and a good meal. Despite our odd friend ordering ice cream when it's 20F outside, we sat next to the space heater they provided. A quick and tasty eat for locals or the passing by skiiers.

We used the driveup at Dairy Queen. Service was promt and the food was great. Definitely one of our favorite places for a quick snack.

Clean inside and very quiet on a Saturday afternoon. Food was slow coming and took a while before they took our order. Seemed understaffed. Over good experience.

Tables not clean but cleaned while we waited. Fries were cold. We asked for our over creams after the meal but they were served with the meal. Looks like a bunch of kids working and no leaderdhip.

Very nice staff. Only reason they did not get 5 stars is because the indoor dinning areas is still closed.

My kids have only known Blizzards from this DQ. It is almost a requirement for us to stop here everytime we come to town. The owners have done a nice job modernizing the store and the blizzards are consistent. To be honest, not my type of food to eat so this review is only about getting a Blizzard.

Good evening. My name is Charles Univalia Mistletoe. During my 3 day stay at this establishment, I was catered very well. I was fed a "Hamburger" as well as "Chicken Tenders." I am from the country of Tanzenetus, where we do not have a "chicken tender." I believed this food was simply amazing, and I was giving a 12th story room and a bed with purple sheets, to my personal request, I dyed them purple with illegal grape soda. I was also given a window, (450 inches by 243 inches) as well as "divorce papers" from my wife Shequel Thatcher Mistletoe. Due to this fact, I have reduced my review to four stars because of this. thank you, and if you could possibly put more food into the "dumpster" where I am currently subsiding, I would be most garciduous.

The food was great! Service was a bit slow. Restrooms were pretty clean. Parking lot is shared with other businesses, so could be dicey.

Perfect location for grabbing a bite or a blizzard before heading back down the hill. A block off the highway and across from the DMV (never knew there was one in Truckee, eh?). Drive through available.

The chicken Fryer was not working, didn't know u can only fry chickens in a chicken fryer, because they had frys with my order and got them, from the deep fryer so I would of thought to use the fry deep fryer to cook the chicken 🐔 ,

The food was good, especially the milk shake. The employees were pleasant and helpful, parking was easy and in a safe environment, and the prices are good. The dining room is not open but the counter for walk-ins is open.

The take out is quick and efficient, it is a perfect spot for a quick bite by, but the dine in can be unsettling at SOME times (Very rare) and the food is good

Went in to grab a snack, have not gotten ice cream in a while but was shocked when two medium blizzard added up to over $13.

Careful what's on the TV. We saw cable channel movie previews that were not appropriate for children. Very violent. Asked them to change it but didn't know how, and no remote.

Fast food joint with a drive-thru, located in a medium-sized plaza with Truckee DMV. They have a creek running next to them so watch out for mosquitos in the spring and summer!! They serve burgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, and desserts. They are known for their Blizzards, which are blended soft serve ice cream mixed with various ingredients like candies, cookies, and nuts. The Blizzards are very thick and DQ employees are supposed to flip your Blizzard cup upside down when handing you your order to prove this to you. Haven't been to a DQ in a long while. They don't have a big menu but their burgers and Blizzards were big. Blizzards have a better size selection than the McDonald's McFlurrys which are tiny. Fries weren't horrible but certainly not good. Would've given them an additional star if they had a bigger menu, especially a bigger value menu. Drive-thru employee was super cheery, which is always a plus.

It was great food and great service yet. My card was just charged a full 7 days later.. which as a mother of twins I woke up today with my account in the negative because of this. Not appreciated.. charged a full week later… Pay cash at this establishment

Dirty store, very slow service (even tho numerous staff)). Staff needs better training on sanitation issues (washing hands, moping floor around food, table cleaning, etc.

The servers are pretty rude and the food is just so so. Could be better real easy, but that would mean that the employees would have to work a little harder. But, that won't happen, so spare yourself and just don't go.

This place was filthy!! Ordered the mushroom swiss burger, which was $4.75 and it had, at the most, 3 slices of little mushrooms. The bun was smashed flat, had 1 slce of cheese, a meat patty and lots of mayo, which made it hard to eat without getting it all over the place. Must have used 10 napkins! On the plus side, my husband had the 5 buck lunch, which he said was good. Had a blizzard, which was great! He said, however, that it was the dirtiest fast food restaurant he had EVER been in! Those young kids working in there need some supervision!

Good Lunch special but lately you can never eat there. They only have the drive thru open for such a long time. The drive thru takes sooo long to finally get your food. Be a long time before I go back to wait again.

Waited in line for about 15 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me. Then after ordering, I had a coupon for buy one blizzard, get one for 99 cents. The lady that worked there obviously didn't understand what I was saying, and refused the coupon, and instead took off 99 cents from the entire bill...customer service definitely needs some work. The employees need more training. Good customer service can go a long way.

Food was fine but restaurant was the dirtiest I have ever experienced. It was super hot inside too. The cashier was captain of the struggle bus & his support staff wasn't much better. Don't stop here if you are in a hurry or want a cool, clean place to grab a bite to eat, if you do you'll likely be disappointed.

Had an extremely long wait going through the drive-thru. By the time I got all of my food the warm food had cooled off and the cool food had warmed up. Really not a good experience!

Had an extremely long wait going through the drive-thru. By the time I got all of my food the warm food had cooled off and the cool food had warmed up. Really not a good experience!

Waited over an hour in the drive through. After getting our food we have discovered that the order is completely wrong.

Omg this place is TERRIBLE. 20 minute weight in drive through. Messed up my sons kids meal, didn't give us my wife's whole number 7 even though it was on our receipt.

No one ever came out to take my order so yet again just go in the drive thru. Oh and I have heard it's all microwave. Only a fryer for nuggets and Fry's.

Ordered a small chocolate malt. It tasted rancid. Not sure I could identify which ingredient was bad but I’ll never go there again. I took two sips and threw it in the trash.

I ordered 2 five dollars lunches. They charged me 11.63..i asjed them to return my money ti my card and charge me what am supposed to be..i got my statement and the charged me twice..im livid..i live 50mi away.

arrived at 7:30, doors were locked, even though the counter is open until 8. went through the drive through and asked if they orange juliuses; they said yes. waited in the drive through for 20 minutes and had to turn the car eventually to save gas. got to the window, told us that they forgot to tell us that they’re not making juliuses. this place sucks. sorry not sorry.

Apparently this business doesn't feel the need to close their online ordering to reflect when the business itself is closed, so I placed an online order on Thanksgiving thinking they were one of the only restaurants still open, just to pull up to a locked building with nobody in sight, and I still have not received any sort of refund or reimbursement

Terrible service, unsanitary, took 20 mins to get a cone and blizzard, kid working there had no idea what he was doing and kept asking other staff (who kept pointing him to his cheat sheet). My fast food standards are not high but this was an impressive new low.

I come to my favorite food place and order an Oreo blizzard when I pull up to pay and get it he hands it to me with without flipping it and the reason was once I got it it was already melted they knew they messed up and avoided testing it. Impossible to order food here. I just had my order repeated wrong 3 times in a row, after clearly stating what I wanted. I was just trying to order a couple cheeseburgers. When finally I got frustrated and said I would just come in and order, I couldn't. They don't have their lobby open...

I come here pretty often, usually after work on a Friday to get a treat with my daughter before heading home. Tonight we went and I have no idea what was going on in this place, but it was by far the worst fast food experience I've ever had. My chicken strip were pink and raw in the middle, there were next to no fries in the box, they forgot the toast, and both containers of ranch were curdled and sour. One of the employees was touching his face and mask without changing his visibly soiled gloves afterwards, the girl handling money wasn't wearing gloves and had long, chunky press on nails that had rhinestones that were surely hiding tons of bacteria. My bag didn't have napkins or the receipt so I don't even have a number to call back to complain to the manager, which I almost never do, but definitely would have for this disaster. I usually love this place as a quick treat but will most likely never return.

Terrible service. Our group ordered 4 blizzards and after receiving the first one we had to remind the that we ordered abot 10 min later. Then we received 2 of the remaining 3 and had to remind them a second time about the final one. They were not even busy and one of the servers decided to go off on break while we were waiting. Will not visit this location again.

Horrible customer service. We arrived at 4:30 on the 14th. They were having a Christmas party at 5 and were closing early. The speaker box for the drive thru is broken and therefore we had to order at the window. We waiting 15 minutes as the two cars in front of us were served. As we pulled up the girl opened the window and said "were closed" and shut the window. No explanation, no sorry, nothing. Will never be back. Employees clearly dont care and I'm sure the food quality is reflective of this.

This place has hasn't had gravy in 15 years l try them out once a year at most to see if I can get a chicken strip basket with gravy, fresh fries and toast that is toasted on each side (always toasted on one side only) but am always disappointed. Very lazy cooks. Run by high school kids.

Slow and even worse that they closed the dining room because of COVID19. It would be nice to order inside and take my food out but they had to close the dining room for takeout too. The only way to get sweet treats here is to wait in the long, slow, drive-thru line.
