Excelente lugar para tomarte un trago 🍹 y escuchar buena música ! Escondido entre los demás bares y restaurantes , me encontré con este lugar magnífico alumbrado con luz de velas y con un aroma delicioso a Copal , acompañado de música buenísima , por mucho la mejor mezcalita que me eh tomado en Tulum ! Presupuesto Si te gusta la copita mínimo $1500 El ambiente es sencillo , gente bailando en total individualidad , disfrutando cada uno de su fiesta ! Si buscas algo como con luces y ambiente un poco más comercial, este no es tu lugar !

Me encanta el lugar, la comida deliciosa y a tiempo; probamos las tostadas de camarón, las costillas y un pescado al grill que estaba 10/10. Nos atendió Luis y fue muy amable y atento, en general todo el personal. La coctelería también es muy buena, les recomiendo probar el cóctel matos, me encantó!

El restaurante es de los más bonitos y elegantes de la zona hotelera, muy amplio y perfectamente decorado. Los platillos excelentes desde las entradas hasta el postre exquisito. Tuvimos excelente bienvenida y servicio por parte de Luis, quien en toda la noche estuvo al pendiente de nuestra velada!

We were there on a saturday evening, and they had brought in a DJ and played some good music as well. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Charlie at Casa Jaguar for the absolutely fantastic drinks! Each cocktail was crafted with care and really hit the spot. And special appreciation to Jesus for the attentive service throughout the evening - never had to wait long for anything and he made sure we were well taken care of. We called here for drinks, drawn in by the look of the place and the music playing as we walked by. Absolutely stunning venue and amazing cocktails. The bar tender, Ivan, was very knowledgeable about the ingredients used in the tailor made drinks we had, really lovely guy. A most enjoyable visit. My girlfriend and I are big foodies and we were skeptical to try many of the restaurants near the busy hotel zone but Casa Jaguar completely surpassed our expectations! The vibe was chill and moody. The food was phenomenal, and the drinks hit the spot! Ivan was our server and he was super attentive and gave many suggestions and parring ideas. We had the aguachile to start which has a little kick and super flavorful, as well as the octopus. YOU MUST GET THE OCTOPUS! For our main we had the catch of the day which was also phenomenal and full of flavor. We love spicy and asked for salsa and were given an amazing habanero salsa. If you love flavor and good food + vibes you must stop at Casa Jaguar

Amazing place!! This place has very good food, they have for dinner octopus and fish, you can order the “Pez Rostizado” and the “Tostadas de Pulpo” great choice for dinner. You can go even with your friends or partner. After this, at 9 pm the party begins, they have DJ that plays good music and becomes party.

We went there on Thursday night which was also the night of the jungle party. the food was soooo good, we got sea bass in banana leaf and octopus with peanut butter sauce and both were delicious. I could say it was the best sea bass that I’ve ever tried. We also got 2 cocktails which were amazing a little bit spicy but so refreshing The vibe, the music and decor was perfect, would definitely come back to try more of the food and drinks

The food, service, and ambiance were perfect. The shift supervisor would stop by the table and ensure everything was satisfactory. She recommended one dish and a cocktail drink. Both were excellent. Since the restaurant is open air, they walk around with a pleasant smelling, burning pot to determine the mosquitoes. I asked a staff member if that was the reason, and he returned with a spray bottle of Off. Allow extra time to arrive because of the local traffic along the Ocean drive.

EDIT: came back to Tulum and went back to Casa Jaguar. Even though the menu hasn’t changed I was amazed at the standard and the quality of the food and the drinks that tasted somehow better. I am still dreaming about the rib eye and the many cocktails I had. This was a recommendation from my hotels front desk and I am so grateful for it. The cocktails were out of this world and that ceviche was so refreshing I was ready to eat another one. But then there was the steak. Spectacular meal!

Pricy but worth it! Portions were large, we got 2 mains and one starter between two but would have been full with just the mains. The catch of the day and pork belly were delicious and the mezcal cocktails were a must try. We had to wait 15 mins for a table at 7pm without a reservation. The vibe is more chilled than clubby like other restaurants nearby.

Un buen lugar para tener una cena especial en la zona hotelera de Tulum. Los platos son muy ricos y la calidad de los ingredientes mega frescos, además que la ambientación es perfecta, el lugar es hermoso. Comimos todos platos con pescado y mariscos y todos los ingredientes de notaban frescos y bien preparados. Los tragos son grandes y muy ricos también. El precio era algo elevado, pero se comió demasiado bien. Lo único malo era el volcán de chocolate, no estaba bueno, tenia gusto como a humedad y poco sabor a chocolate.

For half my stay, I felt like I was in a noisy bar. We were with a friend in all the top places in Cancun. Tulum y sus atracos continuos en cada restaurante. El sitio es bonito? Si, a la par que acogedor. Pero los precios son demenciales para lo que te ponen. Pedimos tres raciones, a cada cual más escasa, agua para beber… y la cuenta nos iluminó con 1400 pesos (70 euros). Para lo que ofrecen es excesivo. Además de la incomodidad de aparcar en los restaurantes de esa avenida. No volvería.

El concepto el muy bueno, en medio del manglar y poca luz, muy rústico, pero con un calor terrible!! Es muy caro, un plato de cecina $430 un pescado o chamorro $640 me parece un robo porque además el sabor no es tan bueno. El servicio es pésimo, y solo buscan apurarte a comer para que pagues y te quiten la mesa. En el bar es mas caro aun, una cerveza $100 y un trago no tan bueno $200. Lamentable son el tipo de precios de la zona, pero en otros lugares por lo menos te tratan bien o esta rico.

La decoración y la ambientación genial, como muchos lugares en tulum le invierten en mantener el lugar agradable a la vista. La primera impresión de calidez y a la vez te insita a la fiesta. Llegamos y al sentarnos nos dijeron que no había menú, algo súper raro. El mesero nos preguntaba que ibamos a tomar, sin menú es difícil pedir algo y si no sabes cuánto va a costar. Llegó un grupo de 4 personas y solo pidieron una bebida cada quien y enseguida se levantaron y se fueron solo estuvieron 20 min. Me pareció una trampa para turistas. Lástima porque en lugar de atraer a la gente y que los recomienden parece que solo quieren sacarle dinero al que se pueda, nacionales y extranjeros.

We arrived at Casa Jaguar for our reservation and were promptly seated, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the seating itself set a poor tone for the evening. The solid wood table and chairs were extremely uncomfortable—far less comfortable than what you’d find at an average burger joint. Our waitress, however, was a highlight of the experience: friendly, pleasant, and attentive throughout the meal. The menu is quite small, with limited choices, and they were already out of the fish of the day. The cocktails were good, though priced more like Miami than Mexico. We started with the octopus and shrimp, both of which were well prepared and enjoyable. For main courses, we ordered the ribeye, sea bass, and pork ribs. The sea bass was fresh and nicely cooked. The ribs were ordinary—fine, but nothing memorable—and the portions were on the small side. The ribeye was the biggest disappointment. The meat was clearly low quality: not very tender, with a gamey and rather unpleasant taste that made it hard to enjoy. For dessert, we tried the lava cake, which was very average and similar to what you’d find at many chain restaurants. The total bill came to $400. For that price, the overall experience was definitely not worth it. While this level of pricing seems to be the norm in Tulum, it’s still hard to justify. We’ve had better meals—and better overall experiences—at local taco shops for a fraction of the price.

We have been here on Thursday because of the Jungle party, at around 9pm the music changed but a part for that nothing else happened, so we still wonder what it's the party about. The menu is pricy, like the neighbours restaurants, so the expectations were high. The cocktails didn't let has down, they were lovely and balanced but I can't say the same about the food. We ordered the prawns and the seabass, regarding the prawns nothing to complain about but also nothing unremarkable, the fish instead we didn't really like it. The place itself is very fascinating with those tables on the ground between the trees with DJ playing good music and the service was alsonice, but for the first time since we are in Tulum we felt a bit unsafe because of the presence of some dodgy people with backpack standing on the corners of the floor and close to toilets. Maybe it was only our impression but right after we finished our food we pay our bill and left.
