Sushi Damu has a lively, modern sushi bar feel. It’s trendy, with energetic vibes, music in the background, and a fairly packed house especially on weekend nights. Many reviews say it works great for groups, date night, or fun dinners where ambience is part of the experience. Rolls like Jen Jen, Dragon Breath, Yellowtail Star, etc., are called out positively. Good variety, interesting flavors without always masking the fish. If you go with the right AYCE tier, order smartly, and pace yourself, many people feel you get a lot of food for what you pay. Pick a few cooked/appetizer items too — tempura, yakitori, miso soup, because variety makes AYCE more fun. Pace it — don’t order everything at once. Trying several small rounds helps keep things fresh and avoid waste. If you want an AYCE sushi night, Sushi Damu is among the better ones in the area — especially if you focus on nigiri, sashimi, and try the higher tier.

When it comes to AYCE sushi in Orange County, Sushi Damu stands amongst the giants. Not only can you get unlimited sashimi with their most premium menu, but you have access to delicious carpaccio, nigiri, hand rolls, specialty rolls, and appetizers — all at amazing quality. I’m always most stunned by how buttery their salmon tastes and how tender their unagi is. The service we had at our last visit was impeccable. Be prepared for a long wait and difficult parking; however, it’s worth it all.

My boyfriend wanted to try this place out after seeing a tiktok about how it’s the best AYCE in OC and they weren’t lying! The sushi was incredible ESPECIALLY the Bluefin Tuna nigiri literally some of the best nigiri ever. They also had an amazing deal for a bottle of Soju and a pitcher of Beer (basically a DIY Soju Bomb fest) for only 20 bucks extra! To top it off, the vibes were IMMACULATE! The music was popping off and Bri was our server and she was super sweet and endearing and tended to our every need, answered every question we had and was super fast. We’ll definitely be back again!

One of my favorite sushi spots here! My gf and I eat here all the time. I took 3 friends here and they loved it. 2 of my friends were vegetarian and they really enjoyed the food and creativity. Shout out to Matthew - he was an amazing server

Pretty good All you can eat place. The variety is there and the price matches what you are getting. What's cool about this place is that you actually see where the fish are coming from. There is also a free daily special sushi. Would recommend. The service does take a little long though

I’ve been a loyal customer of this sushi restaurant for a long time, and I truly can’t say enough good things about it. The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistent , every single time. The staff are incredibly polite, kind, and professional. No matter how busy they are, they treat you with genuine warmth and respect. I often go with my two kids, and I still feel completely welcomed and at ease. I’m so happy this gem is in our area , it’s one of the few places that always makes me feel good. Highly recommended!

My daughter picked this place out on the way to a concert and she picked a good one. Got there around 4pm and there was no wait. We didn't realize it was all you can eat and I almost walked out but we didn't have time to find a different place. We had a flag that signaled our server that we wanted to order more. The food came out quick and you were allowed to order up to 5 dishes per person at once. The rolls looked delicious, they had thick pieces of fish and tasted great. I figured if we could eat 5 rolls, it would be worth it. We had 6 rolls and some nigiri to start us off. I was disappointed they didnt carry Kirin beer but they did have many flavors of soju. The hot green tea was great too. The atmosphere was chill, cozy, and the staff was polite. There was limited parking at the time we got there, which was shared by other businesses. The bathrooms were clean although they stayed busy. I liked this place so much, the family and I drove up from San Diego a month later just to eat here again. Everyone loved it and we left stuffed.

We had the sashimi plus and they were so good and so much food. Becareful ordering the roll unless that is your thang.Thang.. they are ALOT. Fresh fish melt in your mouth. I would definitely come back here

First off, I apologize for my slightly blurry food pics First time here & will def be coming back b/c: Food 5/5: Fish and all the other ingredients felt very clean and fresh. The fish did not smell stinky or anything. Sushi was very well-made (good sushi rice, proper sauce proportions) Recommendations: Tako Sashimi, Baked Jen Jen, Craw Me Daddy, Dragon Breath Service 5/5: As a first timer, the ordering method can be a little overwhelming and confusing at first. However, our server, Nancy, was so extremely helpful in explaining everything. If not for her, I definitely would not have enjoyed this restaurant as much because almost everything we ordered was based on her recommendations. I can only consume so much food and I'm glad I ordered the dishes that she recommended because they were absolutely amazing and delicious! As someone who used to work in customer service, I really appreciate their understanding and kind gestures. KUDOS TO NANCY! Atmosphere: 5/5 Perfect ambivalence for a date night. For dinner at least, the place does a great job with the lighting they chose. I love how they use small desk lights to give the environment a little more "classy" feel. We will be back & I would share my amazing experience with my friends, family, and business partners.

Closes at a 10:30pm but stopped serving at 930pm and poor customer service by the greeter? I guess I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Good to find RA and Honda-Ya down the way are open later. Update: Decided to give it another shot and my experience this time around was very different. There was a 20-30 minute wait when we arrived. While we waited, a server came out with a plate of vegetable tempura and mentioned it was a compliment from the manager for our wait. Awesome gesture from the manager. Her gesture made the wait seem shorter. Food was amazing! Can’t wait to come back!

This is a family favorite and an excellent option if you want to gorge on sushi rolls. The atmosphere is fun and the food is surprisingly good quality for AYCE. Fortunately, there are a lot of roll options if you want to avoid rice. However, the raw fish, surimi/mayo, rice, seaweed and hot sauce can only be combined so many ways. But they all taste good! One odd criticism about this place, that I have experienced twice, is a strong odor of industrial cleaner. Not sure where it came from, but it’s a horrible chemical smell wafting through the dining area. It didn’t ruin my experience, but it was noticeable.

My son, who loves sushi and frequently dines at this restaurant, insisted we go there for dinner. It was the first visit for my wife and me, so we were looking forward to trying it. The food was good, and our server was attentive and pleasant throughout the meal. However, once we paid the bill, someone came to our table and asked us to leave because there was a waiting line. I was truly shocked. At 70 years old, having dined at many fine restaurants over the years, I have never been asked to leave immediately after paying. It was a very disappointing experience. In my opinion, great restaurants are defined not only by their food but by how they treat their guests. Sadly, this experience fell very short, and I will not be returning or recommending this place to others.
