Sutha Thai Kitchen is a local favorite known for its excellent service, friendly owners, and authentic Thai food. Many rave about the generous portions and accommodating service, especially regarding allergies. Limited seating and parking can be challenging.
Tip: Be aware that seating is limited, but there are often tables available outside. They are very accommodating to allergy and preference requests.
This was our second time coming to this hidden gem - and it’s definitely not the last time! The service is amazing, the waitress is super friendly and attentive! And the food is delicious, fresh and full of flavor! You can literally order anything and it’s always good. Highly recommend this place!
The food was really good! The place is very tiny I would say it's maximum holds 15 to 20 people. But if you come at the off-hours it's well worth it because the food is very good. I will say there is outside seating that holds probably another 10 to 12 people. But you're right on the street and I prefer not to sit outside with that kind of a situation.
Everyone in our company goes here for lunch. They got a great lunch special about five or six choices or 10 bucks. Real quick service and a hot meal. Just a perfect place to go
Good personal service, you feel like you’re eating in someone’s house and getting personal service. Food was hot and fresh and the wait time was minimal.
The best Thai food I’ve ever had and I love Thai food! My favorite is the yellow curry. The flavors are so unique and wonderful. I also get the pad see ewe with tofu, another delicious entree!!
Ordered the Thai style spicy fried rice 4/5 was a bit hot but really good. Also ordered the Pad See Ew was also really good. The dining room is small limited seating inside, but really good food, good service, friendly staff and affordable pricing.
Among the best Thai restaurants in Orange county. Although small, the service is fast and good. If you are a party of more than 4, its best to choose another restaurant. Plenty if street parking. Love the out door seating, its under the shade. All the dishes are good and my favorite is the Pad Kee Mao. Be careful when you mention the spice level. The spicy is really spicy, the sort of spicy that breaks a sweat.
This fantastic place is a small hole-in-the-wall, family-run restaurant. The seating is limited so to-go is a great option. But for all the times, we have choosen to sit-down, the ambience is pleasing and service friendly. It is my family's favorite comfort Thai food haven
I'm absolutely in love with their yellow curry. I come in once a week just for it! I usually get it with veggies, as their tofu is not the best. No idea how it is with animals in it but I'm sure it's delicious Perhaps the only thing I would complain about is service. It's not bad but it's not good either.
A tiny whole in the wall restaraunt that is amazingly delicious. The food is always served hot and fresh. I typically order take out and even after a 30 min drive home everything is still warm and so flavorful. My absolute favorite Thai place, and I've tried many. My go to dish is the Pad See Ew.
My and coworkers’ lunch stable. Food tastes great. Decent size portions as well. Our favorites are the curries, pad kee mow, yellow fried rice and the beef salad!
I love this place. I found out about it with the new Google+ Local. The food has been great( I like the green curry, and the mango sticky rice). I'm so glad that I checked it out. I hope you enjoy too.
Great service and the good 5 stars, the red curry is delicious, full of flavor. The side salad very fresh and clean. Loved it!!!
Small with only a few tables, but great service, lunch was a good bargain...
This is our go-to take-out Thai spot. Great service, delicious and great value.
Drove by for a few years and decided to finally try Sutha Thai Kitchen for dinner. Sat down for dine in and my order was taken promptly. My chicken pad thai came out steaming hot and the waitress was attentive and accommodating. There were only a few people in the dining room but I saw a ton of to-go orders in the 40 minutes I was there. It has a "hole-in-the-wall" vibe but was clean. If you're looking for a quick place to grab a weeknight dinner I would recommend Sutha!
We ordered veganized dishes: Drunken Noodle with tofu and no fish sauce or oyster sauce, Green Curry with tofu and no fish sauce, and Basil Tofu with no fish sauce. The food came out delicious. The only critics are too much oil and portions are not big. But the taste of each dish is amazing! It seems that it is a neighborhood Thai restaurant with regular customers. The place is small with 5 tables only and crowded as every table was filled. They have outside tables too which are ok during a better weather. They also have $10 lunch specials which are popular.
Cute small place with DELICIOUS FOOD. The owners are very friendly and really kind people. The food is prepared and served with a lot of love.
Tasty Thai! Super Fasssst service...my favorite here is Tom Yum Shrimp Soup. It comes in a flaming fire bowl. We also had the Papaya Salad and Pad See Ewl w/chicken.
Finally found authentic Thai food and the feel Thailand hospitality because of this restaurant! The Thai lady who takes the orders is one of the best servers you will ever meet.
Great service & best Thai Restaurant in OC, loved the glass noodle dish, papaya salad & let's not forget the delicious sticky mango rice dessert!!!!

Seating is limited. But there are some tables hidden outside. Service is always great and their food comes in huge portions. Parking can be a challenge during prime time.
This is a local favorite and is a small “mom and pop” hole in the wall. First and foremost, the food is great. The people are wonderful and they really try to make everything to your needs and to create a great experience. The place is small, but, if you are okay to sit outside there are spots to eat there as well.
Finally stopped by after driving by all these years to try. We love hole in the walls and this one didn’t disappoint. The food was good, BUT the service was EXCELLENT.
The best Thai food in Tustin! They’re very accommodating to allergy and preference requests. Make sure to try the yellow curry
Best Thai food in Orange County! The only comparable place is Elephant Thai in lake forest. My family has been going to Sutha for years and we’ve tried other places but always end up back here!
This place made my day! Great food and Amazing service. I will be a regular We got the drunken noodle and Lunch Basil Chicken
Best Thai food in Tustin!!! We’ve tried all of the other big Thai foodie spots in Tustin (Thai Chayo, Manaao, Chiang Rai, etc) and NOTHING beats Sutha Thai for the taste, value and authenticity. We’ve been coming here for years since we’ve moved into the area and won’t eat any other Thai food. We order takeout, delivery and have dined in - never had any changes to the food or quality! Their food is freshly made, consistently good in taste, amazing portions, and truly family owned. It’s a smaller mom and pop ambiance to dine in. The staff is always kind, generous, and welcoming to us. Cream cheese wontons, chicken larb, tom yum kai with chicken, pad thai noodles with shrimp, pad woo sen with shrimp, pad see ew with tofu or shrimp, yum nuah, spicy scallops, BBQ beef, yellow curry with shrimp/tofu/chicken, pumpkin curry! The list goes on. Everything we’ve tried, always tastes delicious.

If anyone knows me, they know how much I love Thai food. And if you really know me, you know that the pad see ew is the only thing that hits home for me every time. I wanted to try this restaurant out because it was the closest one near my home that actually looked decent. (We tried Thai spice and that was a huge miss.) I ordered the ever so popular pad see ew with beef along with the Thai fried rice with beef. Pad see ew - definitely full of flavor but a bit too overcooked on the pan. Tastes a little burnt but not to the point where I hate it Thai fried rice - definitely delicious but an overwhelming amount of rice in comparison to the meat and vegetable ratio. Overall, I did enjoy it and even though it’s a bit of a hole in the wall the food is delicious and the customer service is great. Seriously, I ask them for extra tomatoes on the fried rice and they pack it on like no other! The only reason why I docked one star was because for some reason they mixed up my order once and made my fried rice with lots of mint. The mint was so overpowering that I couldn’t even taste anything else in the dish which was a huge turn off. Other than that, this is definitely worth trying out. The prices are fair and the taste is definitely there!
Love this place. We moved two blocks away last year so easy to walk to. My wife orders something different most of the time and generally likes it. I've been ordering the pineapple fried rice every time since I had it first because I love it so much. Staff is super friendly. Hard as @#!% (<--- that's the 'F' word, by the way) to understand when ordering over the phone because of their accents but makes it more authentic, or, whatever. Anyway, wouldn't drive from LA or SD just to eat here but if you're local or driving thru I highly recommend.
Food was great. Got takeout from here and food taste wise was great. Quality was good but quantity not so much. Seemed like lesser quantity compared to other restaurants around town for take out.
I've been driving past this little place for the past two years, finally tried it. For such a small place they put out big flavorful food. The best thai food I've ever had. We now try to stop by once or twice per month. A little pricey and you can have it as hot as you Want! ( made to order ) Truly one of Tustin's little gems.
Pretty good food. I got the beef pad Thai. I got spice level 5. Very peppery. The wait staff is friendly. Turn around is fast even though they get a lot of online orders. The restaurant is small inside and a little rundown. The walls need redone. And the front door doesn’t swing open or closed easily
In town for a training found on Google and was not disappointed. Green curry is my go to at Thai and this one was excellent. The service was exceptional. Some one ordered a Thai tea and didn't know it had cream, it was happily changed out with no charge.
Came here for my lunch break cuz I love a good Thai lunch special. The service is extremely friendly and welcoming. An old picture of the menu said they had a $7.99 lunch special, but at the time of this review it's now $8.99 just FYI. Still a decent deal and really good. I got the chicken pad Thai and it is very satisfying. Not anything that will blow you away, but totally fine. The lunch combo gets you the entree, rice, wontons, soup and salad together so it's worth it. I'll have to come back and try their iced coffee and stocky rice next time.
Clean restaurant, friendly wait staff, Prompt service and short food wait. Will definitely appeal to the Caucasian palette.

Sutha Thai Kitchen in Tustin is a charming little gem for anyone craving authentic and delicious Thai food. This quaint spot offers a cozy dine-in experience with a few tables, perfect for a casual meal. They also offer convenient take-out, which is a great option for busy weeknights. What truly sets Sutha Thai Kitchen apart is the friendly and efficient service. The staff is always welcoming and the food is prepared relatively quickly, so you won't be left waiting long. And when your food arrives, you certainly won't be disappointed by the generous portions. You definitely get your money's worth here. I highly recommend trying their Pineapple Fried Rice. It's bursting with flavor and a perfect balance of sweet and savory. Honestly, though, I've tried several dishes on their menu, and everything has been consistently excellent. You really can't go wrong with anything you choose. Whether you're dining in or taking out, Sutha Thai Kitchen is a must-try for Thai food lovers.
Good pad thai dishes, not too salty but a bit greasy, lots of oil at the bottom of the dish. Will be back to try their other dishes.

To be honest I have a lot of mixed feelings about Sutha Thai Kitchen. I love that its convenient but I do see a lot of negatives. But to start out with the positive they have a good variety of food, lunch specials and the staff is very nice. But the bad? Something about the food just doesn't wow me, and my boyfriend feels the same way. I'm not sure if its the texture of the food or what, but we never finish our food here and its not somewhere we go if we can help it. Also its really not fun to dine-in, there is absolutely no air conditioning and the place is tiny so you can really feel the heat from the kitchen. You're also RIGHT next to the window with no shades so you feel like youre in the window of a retail store or something. Overall I want to like the place but something about it just doesn't sell me. I do think the staff and presentation is lovely though, but I'd only recommend to-go if you're in the area and craving Thai.
Very busy and popular spot, doing a lot of take out business on a Monday night. We were pretty much ignored after sitting down. We ordered, and it took a very long time to come to the table. The chicken satay (previously enjoyed very much at this very place!) was tough and the portion size was tiny for the money. The soup was served but was not what we ordered; wait staff did not know how to handle this and tried to assign blame instead of just getting us the proper item without a discussion. Even trying to get out of there to pay was an ordeal since there were so many people in a tight space paying and picking up takeout.
Great taste. HOWEVER, I'm super bummed and disappointed. I've been getting their food for YEARS. This restaurant is playing the game of giving the consumer MUCH, MUCH LESS food thinking we'll not notice. Here's the recent difference in containers for the same price. And not even 5 pieces of meat, shrimp or chicken.

All style and no substance. The papaya salad we got was small. The vegetable were not fresh and there were barely any papaya. The Tom Yum we ordered were too sour and almost no other flavor. But the customer service were top notched, they took our order right before they closed in the afternoon with no problem
Drove all the way here during their posted hours of operation and they were closed.
We came here because we know this place since last 3 years and been multiple of times . Today we felt like the food quality is degraded and worse. Tom ka khai soup has raw shrimp. After complain they still charged us for the soup. We asked to see manager but lady who serve us didn’t listen to us properly and said manager is not here. NO COME BACK
Pad Thai came with overcooked shrimps. No peanuts , or lime or bean sprouts. Presentation is awful. Just a big pile of noodles with little seasonings. Yellow curry chicken came with more potatoes than chicken, no fresh vegetables in sight. Can never trust the reviews . Very disappointing experience!!!!!!
Where is the coconut topping for this desert??, not to mention I feel the sticky rice is dry!-SHAMEFUL! I was not satisfied and I will not be spending any more of my hard-earned money eating here!.. I feel the deserving stars is 0 all around!

This place is a hit or a miss. And that is why the 1 star. We have dined here before and the food was great. But last Friday my wife got a take out: spring rolls, chicken satay, spicy basil fried rice, baby corn bamboo shoot chicken curry and eggplant tofu curry. There was no salt, no flavors. I can understand that 1 dish can get screwed but all 3? Even cabbage boiled in water minus any seasoning has better flavor. Sad because our dine in experience was vastly better. Will avoid henceforth.
