We visited Bodacious BBQ in Tyler after the lunch rush and left so there were few folks left. I had the sliced beef sandwich combo with chips and pinto beans, and my wife had the sliced beef sandwich combo with coleslaw and potato salad. We both really enjoyed the food! The sauce they provided was heated with a hint of vinegar, but wasn't overly hot or spicy. Good stuff! Plenty of seating and the space was very clean. Employees were friendly. Will definitely return.

My daughter placed online order for me because I had surgery and couldn't drive I live 10 minutes from restaurant when she got back ribs where so dried out I couldn't not eat they told me they couldn't do anything about it because I didn't call last night even though they were closed by then which is terrible because the whole ticket was $37.07

Cindy was very Hospitable, she saved the day. the atmosphere was very nice i liked the décor. The brisket was good However, the sausage not necessarily fresh. On a 3 meat plate. I got 2 very small ribs.That was the downer for me but there's always room for the improvement.

I see a lot of good reviews on here so idk if this was a one time bad experience or if yall just have bad taste in BBQ lol. The meat had zero fat on it. It was edible but completely flavorless. Very dry. I will say the establishment was very clean and the staff was super friendly so at least there's that. But I wouldn't go back for the brisket.

The first time I went to this place, the brisket wasn’t good. I decided to go back a second time to see if my luck would change. Today, I got brisket and ribs with the same result, not good at all, tasted boiled and no smoke flavor. I will not be going back.

I always get pretty sliced brisket and make sandwiches for a couple of days out of 1 pound. This time is was just big chunks of fat and the ends that should have been trimmed. We went through the drive thru so they gave me the scraps.

DONT DO IT! The bbq is not worth it, its tasteless and made my stomach hurt. The price was way to high, food was gross and atmosphere was dead! At least I can bring it home to my dogs, go to Rudy's instead!

Absolutely THE WORST BBQ i have ever had but the worst food I've ever had in Texas. The turkey was processed and rubber like, beans were tasteless and had no flavor and the gal that took out order was rude and not hospitable at all. Needless to say, we will NOT return. No reason too. If you want great BBQ go to Rudy's you wont be disappointed!

Went through drive thru got sausage instead of chopped brisket. I ordered brisket they had it as sausage. I don't eat sausage because of heartburn. Called as soon as I noticed it when I got home. They advised me since they had it as sausage and that's what I got then it was right. I didn't get a receipt or a review of my order. Needless to say not to happy but its ok. Bodacious you have lost a long time customer from the days from Green Acres shopping center. Mac n cheese has no flavor also guys.

I stopped by Bodacious BBQ recently and asked about the type of bread used for the sloppy joe, specifically if they had ever offered Hawaiian roll buns. The staff member I spoke with was dismissive and repeatedly told me “we ain’t never had that” in a way that felt rude, as though I didn’t know what I was talking about. When I brought it up with the owner’s daughter, she brushed it off as not being rude—which felt like just her opinion instead of acknowledging my concern. I wasn’t upset about whether or not they had the bun—it’s fine to just say “no, we don’t carry that.” What bothered me was the attitude and the lack of courtesy. A simple “no, we don’t offer that” would’ve been enough. Unfortunately, the way it was handled left me feeling disrespected and not valued as a customer.

Very expensive, not very good. I ate at a Bodacious bbq about 20 years ago and it was delicious. The food here was meh. Potato salad was bland, Mac and cheese flavorless, and brisket only tasted good with sauce. The sausage was very good. $30 out the door after tip. No thanks

When I asked about your potato salad and if it was changed, they young lady at the register told me they didn't change it, so the Bodacious in Tyler has a mayonnaise based potato salad and the one in Kilgore has more of a mustard base. Maybe they are the same, but something is definitely different. Why are they different? I personally choose the one from the Kilgore location! The below picture is from Tyler.🤔🤔
