Excellent service, superb food, steak cooked to perfection!!!

McKenzie is an amazing server and always a friendly face. Roadhouse is very lucky to have someone with her work ethic and customer service as she provides.

My server was Noah, we went for my birthday with some friends and I’ve legitimately never had so much fun sitting down and talking to my server. He was so energetic and we were just having a great time and he made it so enjoyable coming out to dinner.

Funny thing happened dinning alone ordered my drink and excused myself to wash up and when returned to the table it was being bused. No harm as waitress got new bread and drink!

Texas Roadhouse hooked me up with a 6ounce sirloin steak with sides for FREE on Veteran's day. Very friendly staff, food was very good! Steak seasoned and cooked just as ordered. Even though place was packed with long wait because of the free veterans meal, all staff were smiling and very attentive.

Walked in and sat at the bar had great bartenders who were verry attentive. They are all in as they ask your name and make it a point to remember it...drinks are great, food is great...service was the best. In town for a couple of days but will definitely stop back by when I visit again.

Always the best service, hot buttered rolls, and steaks. I had a Roadkill...so tender and tasty...my husband had a chicken fried steak that hung off the plate! This was the first time using the app to pay with at the table and it was easy to set up and convenient. AA++

Every time I come here I specify a well done steak with no pink. I understand it takes time but I’m paying and what I want is what I want. After all I am the one paying for it. If you aren’t able to do what customers ask just close the whole place down.

I know they are trying to hustle and get as many orders placed as quickly as possible so the kitchen can get them started, but when I order a Dallas Filet, 3-1/2" to 4" thick, I would like to generally make sure they hear what I am asking them to do - not just pick and choose menu items! Well, long story short, but the kitchen manager Frank came out a couple of times, just to make sure everything was going to be cut and cooked properly (NICK SAVE FRANK, THANK YOU)! We shall see how it comes out & will hopefully be posting a couple more pics of the Best steak in the City of Tyler!

Just swooping in to say that someone needs to talk to Jocelyn at the front desk. Every other employee seems to really want to be there and cater to an upbeat, positive atmosphere. But Jocelyn, being the first face people see when they walk in and the person they’re talking to on the phone before you even come in, is enough to turn a lot of business away. Very poor attitude. Unlike literally every other person that works there. So five stars for sure, but only because the staff that followed our terrible first experience were absolute rockstars.

This place is awesome! I had the bome in ribeye and my wife had the chicken salad. Both were absolutely delicious. It was cooked to order and came out pretty quickly. We had an awesome server who was very attentive. They did an awesome job of handling getting us in, they have the best system to date that I have seen, texting you qhen your table is ready. Can't say enough!

Clean, friendly, quality food, offer the birthday celebration to me, including saddle ride, singing HeeHaw to me but was told to pay at table with kiosk but device was working had to get wait for awhile for staff to find an alternative method to accept payment.

Had a veterans day free steak. It was great! Oir server was a nice girl. Our verr was ice cold. Salad and baked potato were great. Nice atmosphere. Clean restrooms. We had a good time and invited friends. Glad to have a nice cut and a good time. Def would reccomend.

This is by far the best place in Tyler to get that ‘perfect steak’ dining experience. The prices are competitive, the atmosphere is fun and lively. The steaks are the largest you’ll find in this area, fresh cut daily and never frozen. They will cook your choice of cut to absolute perfection. There is complimentary rolls and honey butter and complimentary peanuts at your table when you are seated. They’re always packed but have call ahead seating to help expedite getting your party seated. If you go on your birthday you can ride the saddle while everyone sings to you. What a fun experience with high quality cuisine. They also have a cool horse shoe shaped bar and large screen TVs so you can catch your favorite teams playing. Highly recommend.

Update 6/24/2024. I just had an 18 oz ribeye. It was cooked too perfection! I like it medium rare plus, and they did not disappoint! Tori was our waitress she was excellent. Chose it off of the tray when we walked in, and your HAVE to ask for Mikey to cook it (Tyler on the Loop). After being at other Texas Roadhouses, I had low expectations. However I was impressed by the service! Our waitress was amazing. She checked on us often and even made sure we got refills to go when it was time to go. The food was amazing and fresh! Definitely will be back at this location when we are in town again!

Fantastic service quick and friendly. Atmosphere was chaotic in a really fun way. Food is also great. Definitely recommending the pork chops. Also really like their green beans and the corn as sides. My only gripe is that the rolls weren’t really cooked enough. They were definitely warm but they felt a little too doughy in the middle. Other than that, great place to eat if you don’t mind waiting a bit for a table.

Great place to get a nice juicy steak. The beer is nice a cold and the appetizers were good. Won't disappoint if you decide to eat here. The wait staff were friendly and accommodating.

I had a medium well steak and it was one of the best I’ve eaten. The baked potato and steamed broccoli was also very good. They serve rolls and butter & peanuts which are also very good. My husband got a 1/2 rack of ribs with sides. To be honest, he thought the ribs were a little dry. They were good though. Our waitress, Lily, was excellent! We will be going back Price was $20-$25.

My family and I come here a lot but tonight we had exceptionally fast and great service. Kayla Dunn was super sweet and attentive to our table. We never ran out of our drinks and she got our order in super fast. My husband even said that was the best service we have had in years. He was aking her how she is so fast and full of energy and she said that she just really loves being a server. I admire her positive attitude. I hope we have her again.

Great service. I set at the bar. I would have to say best Texas road house ever. Anthony and MacKenzie where awesome best bartenders i have ever had. MacKenzie was amazing. You have too keep her no matter what. If she stays i will drive 1hr and half just to see her. Managers took care of any problems that happened.

The rolls are delicious, and they are on the high range of price. It is worth it. They are known for their rolls, steaks, porch chops, and burgers we come maybe often. Their is a crowd join the wait list ahead of time online. Don't forget to pick up a bag of peanuts.

Very good birthday meal! It was crazy busy with 3, 10 person groups ahead of our party of four (we failed to call ahead to have our name added to the list - highly recommended). We were sat relatively quickly after about 20-30 min wait (just behind the 10 tops). Server, "Elyssa", was SUPER! Tended to us without being pushy. Food took a little longer, but she took care of us extremely well from beginning to end. Food was very good. Needed a bit more flavor, but cooked perfectly. All in all - excellent meal on a Friday night!

The atmosphere was good and crowded. Our steaks were seasoned and cooked perfectly. My sweet potato was a bit under-cooked. The green beans were some of the best that I have eaten and seasoned to work well with the steak. Our server was rushed and sometimes difficult to get a hold of. Update: The managers of this establishment responded and took to heart my review. On our next visit all issues were addressed - my guests' and my sweet potatoes were great and our server was very attentive.

The food was great. Love the fact that their steak isn't overbearing with salt. As expected with a spectacular overall rating, they were very busy. I can't complain about the 40 minute wait. We, last minute, decided to come dine in. My only complaint was our waiter was a bit inattentive to the table as a whole. Again, they were pretty busy and he may have been a bit inexperienced. Otherwise, he seemed to be trying his best and things did eventually get taken care of. Will definitely be coming back in the future maybe not on a holiday weekend.

This Texas Roadhouse has always been good when we visit. The waitress was great. The food was good. We called ahead to reserve seating and they texted us in parking lot that our table was ready but when we got inside still had to wait about 10 minutes. We will return.

Ordered online. Food was delicious. Had to go back in to get my condiments. None were in the bag. Need tarter for my fish and ranch for my salad. I saw the lady pick the bag of condiments and set it back down. I had just gotten off work late, tired and still had a little over an hour drive to get to my destination. I would've preferred all my stuff in the bag the first time. I would go back because the food is delicious.

This place gets REALLY crowded so it can take a while to get your food, but the food is pretty good! We have always received great service from here as well. I do think they should have a larger bathroom for the number of people in the restaurant. Overall, I would recommend this place!

I ordered an 11 oz sirloin with ribs, caesar salad and steak fries. Also ordered the cactus blossom. Sadly, I forgot to take pics so the pics are from my to go plates. Lol The food was delicious. My medium-well steak order came medium so they took it back and fired it a bit longer. Second time back was well but that was ok with me. The Caesar salad was good. Fries were good. Steak and ribs were fantastic. The ribs were melt in your mouth tender. And last but not least, the hot, buttered yeast rolls were so so good. Our server, April, rocked. Don't understand the hype on this place. Got the "fall off the bone" ribs, they did fall off the bone but they were so dry it was hard to swallow. My wife got the BBQ chicken and it was also dry. Service was good and friendly we came early with friends to avoid the wait, would definitely not wait long to eat here.

Waiter was great but a power glitch deleted our ticket somehow and we waited almost 2 hours for food while the toddlers had meltdowns. We had a large party so leaving wasn't an option when it was pouring down raining outside. We only received a small discount off the ticket.

07/19/25 DO NOT GET THE RIBEYE AT THE CURRENT MOMENT AT THIS LOCATION!!! IT WAS AS TOUGH AS BOOT LEATHER! I HAVE NEVER PAID FOR AND LEFT THIS MUCH STEAK ON THE TABLE. Our waiter said it's been like that lately and that the sirloin was better here. I told her to inform the manger but I am sure that will not happen as she gave me the check and walked away. Super friendly little girl. Maybe this economy is steering them away from quality meat companies.

This is by far the worst experience I’ve have with TX Roadhouse. The chili was becoming my go to meal, but this last time seemed as if they just scraped the bottom of the pot and gave me what was left. A lot of burnt chunks of meat which made all the chili as a whole taste burnt. Really didn’t expect that from TX Roadhouse because they’re usually on point.🤦🏾‍♂️

Been here three times now, first time it was real good and had a wonderful time. Second time wasn't good, cold food, over cooked my road killed after asking for it medium-well, prime rib was mostly fat. We got a coupon for a free appetizer for next time. Gave one last chance today asked for roadkill medium, still well done and dry and my mother's prime rib came out wrong after telling them multiple times wanted the end cut and had to be sent back. Have to say, never going back! We hardly go out much to eat because we don't live close to any decent restaurants.

Salt grinder broke in my son's hand, the steaks were rubbery and the chicken tenders were so overcooked the exposed tips were brown. Took forever to finally place the order but the speed of delivery etc went well after.

We drove all the way from Big Sandy. We don’t go out to eat much. We arrived in the parking lot did the waitlist from the app. It said 15-20 minutes estimated wait time. We waited and waited about 45 minutes. Went in to ask about the wait. The hostess said they text us a while ago. I showed her our phone messages. Then she said we weren’t on the list. She said she would try to seat us ASAP. We waited another 15 mins. She asked for our names again. She said she was going to seat another group before us. Then she said because we weren’t in the system we had to wait a little longer. We just left. Then we got a text saying we were removed from the list as soon as we walk out the doors. Make it make sense… Such a let down.

Went there last week for my anniversary, I had been there before but my bf had not. We had a great time until I realized I accidentally left my card holder behind with my ID/DL and a few credit / debit cards and $200 cash. I'm writing this review because I'm in hope the owner will see and check the cameras to see who took my cardholder. I pray it wasn't the waiter I was so proud of how great he was showing off this place to my bf only to have my heart broken that my card holder (I know for a fact was left there) to have vanished. Please please please restore my faith in this place and return my card holder with my ID cards and money I left a 25% tip I was good to the waiter I hope he had my back too and protected my stuff. Please restore my faith in this place! Please find my card holder and show me I picked the right place to celebrate at.

The hostest Fatima was very cold and no lt very inviting/friendly. When we arrive we checked in we were told 5-15 for a 2 top. After 35 we went to check on what's going on, apparently our name was gone out of their system. After telling the manager this all he could say was "well I'm sorry, did you get seated". I cannot fault our server April she was kind and busy. But I would stay way from here and go else where.

We came with a group of nine people to eat, but they told us they don’t have anything for nine people that we need to go somewhere else or wait an hour and a half which I’m pretty sure business was better instead of running us away to another place well I guess we’re gonna eat somewhere else.

First of all, my friend spilt her water and they came up to us for laughing saying we were causing a nusance and for us to be quiet so we closed our ticket out and left before getting our food, server was snarky. Will not go back to that establishment

I have to wonder why this location never seems to offer the “Family Size Chicken Critters” I’ve checked over a dozen times and always says “currently unavailable” yet you can order everything in the meal separately. Is it too much work? Not enough $$? If so just take it off the menu.

Just sat here for 45mins ordered a simple chicken fried chicken mashed potatoes and mac-n-cheese. After 45 mins they were still making my mac-n-cheese. Didn't even get to eat because I waited for my side to eat it all at once. Server was very nice but the kitchen staff sucks.

Found what looked like a pubic hair in my salad. They gave me $5 off my meal. Geez! The constant screaming and singing Happy Birthday every five minutes, atleast ten times was too much for me.

Son‘s birthday dinner tonight. Adult daughter was being a brat so we needed the service and the food to come through, and it did not. Not even close. 48 minutes waiting for our food. A four top seated after us got their food 16 minutes before us. Had to ask for refills and rolls. The steaks were all undercooked or overcooked, and all of our food was very cold when it finally arrived. A bad experience, all the way around. Tons of wait staff standing around at workstations, so maybe they were shorthanded in the back, but we won’t be going back.

I went on my birthday/veteran’s day, how we do every year for most adult birthday’s in our family. This year was different. The steak & shrimp wasn’t as good as normal. The biggest thing that stood out was when we got there we were seated across from a vet there by himself & I seen the waitress walk up and say something to which he replied hold on let me finish my food. In disbelief, I’m thinking ‘no, she didn’t just ask him to hurry’ and continued waiting for my meal. Good luck getting any help, even with 5 beautiful waitresses standing a few feet away, even when saying excuse me, though they were looking in my direction, I could not get their attention. WILD. They were more interested in looking cute. Ok, chopped up to ‘where has good ol American customer service gone?’ Ugh. We got our food, salad first…she (not the waiter who took my order) forgot my red onions on the side & I couldn’t get her attention but there was another lady walking by, she was the manager & was not happy that I asked for the red onions on the side & had the attitude to show it. Next was the steak and shrimp came, as I was taking the first cut of my steak, the waiter (who had been all but absent to this point after taking our order (no, he did not bring our food out (any of it)) decides to come and sit down to tell us we’d been there for 45 minutes! 😮 When I pointed out that I hadn’t even taken a bite of my still hot (since I just got it) steak, he proceeded to try n make small talk though his presence was not welcomed (never had a waiter that we hadn’t built a rapport with just sit down n start chatting), then mentioned again ya I can’t believe you guys have already been here 45 minutes & showed us how to pay at the table, though we just started eating our steaks. He dismissed himself, came back within minutes and handed us to go boxes/bag. Despicable customer service. We will not be back, ever again.

Took my family to the Tyler Texas Roadhouse for what I thought would be a fantastic meal. It was such a disappointment! 4 steaks and 1 chicken dish came out after an extremely long wait time and everything was overcooked and cold. Wow, did my expectations get killed. We sent all the main dishes back to heat up and then they just came out more done and still cold. I tried my best to eat my steak but this ribeye was more like rubber than steak. So, I paid approximately $135 for a really disappointing meal. I will not be visiting this restaurant again.

White gravy was horrible for the country fried chicken. The cook 9n this evening shift has lost his passion to cook. Mac and cheese was cheese-less andhalf cooked. Cotton Patch is 100x better. I was not even greeted when i walked into their door. This was my 1st time and my last time going there. Anyone that thinks their food is good has no pallet nor taste buds left in their mouth. Just giving my honest opinion about my experience. I say this a military veteran.

Came in for dinner tonight with my family 10/11/2025 @ 7:42pm I order a rare 8oz York strip they brought it out to my table and it was cooked well done so I sent it back and asked for rare the manager brought out a raw steak like it came out of the fridge and asked if that would work. I have eaten at alot of different texas roadhouse and have never had this problem. This felt like a slap to that face and like no body really cared other then my waitress she did a great job.
