A true diamond in the rough. I was working a few blocks away and went to Burger Plus for lunch put of pure convenience; and what a great decision it was. Avi, a young guy in his 20's and a six year veteran of the kitchen, hooked up a Schnitzel (Chicken sandwich) and it honestly hit my top 3 list for best sandwiches Ive ever eaten. Up there with Cherry Valley. I'm glad I found this place.

I've always been curious about this place. I decided to grab a bite to-go right after work. Everything on the menu looked and sounded good. This is a Kosher place that makes your order on the spot, guaranteed fresh. There's a little bit of wait because everything is made to order. I went with the Crispy Chicken Wrap. You're able to add any veggie or condiments to your wrap with no extra charge. I added iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, with garlic mayo. Are they delicious? Absolutely! I'd definitely come back to try everything else on the menu. The salads look really delicious as well. Maybe on my next trip I'll try it.

I am shocked I didn't hear about this place earlier. New owner is so nice and the food is INCREDIBLE! The man makes his own burger meat. This isn't some frozen supermarket burger. Honestly, one of the best burgers I've ever had. Will definitely be coming back. Great deal on the lunch special! I wish I took a picture to post. Highly Recommend!

I am beyond impressed with Turnpike Burgers Grill! We placed a huge order from this restaurant to provide lunch for about 200 teachers at our school. We asked them to provide rice, lettuce, assorted vegetables, a variety of meats, and many sauces for teachers to create their own rice bowls. Turnpike Burgers Grill went above and beyond! The food was outstanding and so fresh. They even sent more food than we had requested! They were amazing to work with and all the teachers at our school were so impressed. We will definitely be ordering from them again!!

Very chill burger, kebab, wrap and salad place. Options are endless and everything is cooked fresh and kosher. I personally recommend a chicken wrap (aka Schnitzel Wrap) or the Chicken salad for the more health conscious- The taste is amazing and there is a plethora of sauces and sides available. Like Starbucks someone takes your order and when ready you grab it when your name is called, everyone is very personable and kind and responsive - A+ for Queens NY on this one.

I love this place. You can close your eyes and randomly pick anything on the menu and it will be a hit. Everything is simply delicious. I personally love the house burger and chicken poppers. And the crispy chicken salad is sooo good and the portion is very generous.

This was an outstanding discovery! Wide range of items on the menu made us wish we could try out much more. We opted for the cornflake chicken salad and a lamb salad, along with some fries. I always have an excellent experience at Turnpike. The food is delicious. The owners and staff are the kindest people ever. You can tell that the meat and chicken are far better quality than at most restaurants. I love that they are open late. Amazing restaurant all around.

Kosher burger joint. Not bad. The prices are reasonable. Different kind of burgers (beef, lamb, chicken). They have a variety of snitzel sandwiches, which are different. The soup is good. Service was good. No cheeseburgers. Fries are good. Not expensive for kosher food.

Once upon a time in Chinatown, there lived a boy who became a man, yadda-yadda-yadda... I no longer live there. However, I remember living mere blocks away from Jewish owned businesses such as delis and bakeries, memories of good food and good people. Today I had the opportunity to try out a new burger joint and to my pleasant suprise it was a Kosher establishment. The burger was great, I got the Spicey House Burger with fries. The burger paddy was nicely seasoned and there was an assortment of toppings to choose from. The fries were abundant and service was good. Sandwiches were pretty awesome too. This was a nice flashback experience and I will frequent this place again!

Decent place to explore late at night... I love their chicken salads and the way they flavor it eith different spices. The quantity is pretty good for the amount that they charge. The prepare food fresh and it is made to order.

Excellent burgers. Big Juicey patties. You could tell they use good meat. Very flavorful and grilled well. It’s kosher so expect to pay more and it costs more. 29 dollars for two burgers. Worth the price if considering what they provide overall. The place was super busy. Seems like they were cooking more than just burgers. They say they are under renovations so I won’t make any comments on the dining area and overall look of the place. That being said the burgers did not disappoint.

Great food. My only recommendation stop being cheap on the sauce. If I want extra in the side and u guys make a big deal out of it. What does sauce cost u. .002 cents?. Is it worth losing a customer over that? Also when u guys cut sandwiches foil goes into it. Have to manually pick out.

A great spot for some comfort food! The House Beef burger was great! The burger patty was well seasoned and the garlic sauce also added some savory goodness. The pulled beef burger was excellent. It was saucy, juicy, and flavorful. The Turnpike wings were also very good. Crispy, juicy, and appetizing. I will definitely be returning to try other menu items!

My first time eating here. The burger was so so; they need to perfect their spices. I didn't see an option on how well to cook it.

The food is a bit to greasy but its definitely good and I enjoy the variety they have. But it goes back to the greasyness. I felt bad about my body afterwards both physically and mentally. I would order again to share rather than for myself alone.

Food is great. Customer service doesn't exist. Called for a delivery order, they said no problem, half through the order the delivery guy started arguing that he didn't feel like doing a delivery (I live 5 minutes away) the girl that was taking my order said the delivery guy left - pick up only. If you're gonna lie at least put the caller on hold so they don't hear the real story.

This place isn't bad. I would recommend ordering things other than burgers for burger fanatics such as myself. Rather than having a flame grilled taste, they put spices in their meat which is good, but not something a burger lover prefers. Their sides are great and their other dishes are good too.

As somone who's on a vegetarian diet, not much worth on menu because everything looked overpriced. Decided to go with a $5 vegetable soup and thought I was in for a treat! Boy was I wrong, only few slices of carrots and celery in it?, the rest is water with seasoning. Glad I could use their John, at least got some of my money's worth.

Basic fast food style spot that is priced extremely high and tastes mediocre. I used to eat not kosher years ago and similar spots like this would be half the price and twice the taste.

Service is slow, the kitchen is a hot bed for toxic machismo. It’s a Bucharian and orthodox hang out spot, and better off to find kosher food in a more warm environment.

Staff warmed wrap over RAW meat. Thank God the lady next to me saw it, wrap also had visible blood stains when it was about to be prepped with toppings. Staff responded by saying "it wasn't raw." Absolutely the worst kind of health hazard. Never going back.

The burger is a piece of rubber. I tried it several times and it's worse every time. The fries are mediocre at best, schnitzel sandwiches are so so, they barely put anything in the sandwich. The staff is generally unprofessional and if there is an issue they don't particularly care to make things right.

BAD EXPERIENCE disappointed that I wasted my money. Way overpriced, they're stingy with portions, take a very long time, asked me how I wanted my burger after it was already well-done.

0 STARS!!! This was my first and last time ordering from this place. I placed an order on Grub Hub. So far so good. I got a confirmation that my order was received and that it was being prepared and that my delivery time should be around 2:20. At 2:45 my food still did not show up. So when I called the store from my cellphone they told me they had no drivers, meanwhile they call me on my house phone to tell me the reason why they are not delivering to me is because I live too far. So I looked it up on Google maps and it said they are 8 minutes away by car. So they are lying as well. They have my phone number so what ever reason they had, they could have called me. Bunch of liars.

This is one of the worst place to get your sandwiches. Last time i came here was a year ago and I usually go to mikes burgers in central ave 5 towns area. I came to burger plus cuz i was hungry and i work in the neighborhood. I ordered two steak sandwiches on a hero they had no lettuce at all and when i want tomatoes they usually dice it into cubes but this time they just put like 3 huge slices with width of your thumb and the worst of it all they made my steak so salty i couldn't even eat it and i got from that is a heart burn and a waste of money. Won't be coming here ever again. I rather drive 15 miles to go to mikes to get fresh sandwiches and great customer service

This place is a joke little kids working there can’t even take an order right I placed an order at 7:15. They put me on hold for four minutes. Tell me to come in 20 minutes to pick up my order and I ended up waiting there for extra 20 minutes, such a bad service only came out of that 810 and the food is not all that You just lost a client. moments later, I ordered a burger and this was not my first time ordering from this place, but the burger wasn’t cooked correctly and it’s like an extra small burger. There’s no meat. I don’t understand this place.

Update: please see attached photo showing item description. I used to love this place. I recommended their rice bowls to all my friends. Not after tonight. We ordered our rice bowls and were surprised to find just rice, chicken, and sauces. The sauces weren't even the ones we requested. When we called to ask what went wrong with our order, we were told we didn't pay for the vegetables. The website states, "served ina bed of fluffy rice and vegetables." This is besides the fact that there was no option to add vegetables when we ordered. This is such a a shame.

Total hit or miss; took them over an hour to prepare my food and still served it to me raw; I came in at 8:05 was served raw chicken at 9:03 and tried to cover it with a ton of bbq sauce so I wouldn’t see that the chicken is raw. So paid close to $30 for just a can of soda cause that’s all I walked away with and still hungry! I tasted the raw food and almost 🤮 unacceptable!🤮

Horrible first experience. This is my first time ordering from this restaurant, unfortunately will not be ordering from here ever again. The food came damaged, everything was opened and spilled. The avocado wrap was all black, the avocados aren't fresh. The coleslaw tastes awful. The buffalo chicken wings are completely burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. The only thing we didn't throw to the garbage was the curly fries, and honestly that's the only reason why im even giving this restaurant a star. Very disappointed.

Terrible terrible customer service! I called to check on the status of my order I placed on Uber Eats after almost an hour. The girl on the phone RUDELY tells me it’s not ready and that “it will be ready when it’s ready” after asking how much longer. They also use some 3rd party delivery service called cartwheel that makes your order getting delayed even longer (I live 5 minutes away). Never coming back mainly because you don’t value your customers.

I came in at 8:05 put in my order, after waiting almost an hour; I asked for my food and they tell me it will be another 7 minutes. 10 minutes later they serve me raw chicken cause they forgot about my order, so I tell him I asked for well done the guy tells me well here you go it’s done; I left without even asking for a refund at 9:13 and still hungry! I see your response; if you pulled up my payment; the responsible and ethical thing to do would be to give a refund to a costumer that left hungry and please don’t patronize me with you salad; a 3 year old can tell between cooked and raw chicken you served me!🤢🤮 your response sounds more like bribery than an apology!

I’ve tried this place a few times, low quality mediocre food at best. If your getting meat or something deep fried, your asking for food poisoning, that’s the issue with the food. When it comes to the staff, it isn’t any better. My final and last encounter with this establishment was a few months ago. I had walked into the restaurant around 10:30pm to an empty restaurant and 2 staff behind the counter one of which was the owner. This man looks me dead to my face and tells me I wasn’t welcomed to his establishment and I should get the f* out. Mind you it was my first time seeing this man in my life. No words had left my mouth yetI haven’t even ordered anything yet. I found myself completely dumbfounded with this restaurant’s owner and just decided to walk out and vouched to never return. Seeing previous reviews, not only the staff but the establishment as a whole has some kind of attitude issue. They don’t value there customers nor the money you spend with them. Definitely better places in the neighborhood
