Very comfortable atmosphere. The menu is easy to read, and the staff know their stuff. Food is priced well, and they bring it to the table for you. The place is easy to see from the street, and there’s plenty of parking.

We visited this place for the first time yesterday and we are completely satisfied with the extremely hot fresh dozen we purchased and devoured !! The quality is always top notch...the selection has familiar favorites and one or two surprises to try for the first time. Pair the variety of bagels with the extensive assortment of flavored cream cheeses and you have a near endless number of breakfast combinations!

Love the fact that this place has been in business as long as it has been and in the same location for all the years it's been here in Utica. The bagels are always fresh, tasty and perfectly made. Lots of cream cheese flavors to choose from. Many unique bagel flavors made special daily as well. All in all, this is the best bagel place in Utica hands down. The wait wasn't very long. The food was amazing. But the thing that I love the most is your encouragement of being allowed to breast feed. I stopped breast feeding a few years ago but I remember how sometimes I felt uncomfortable at places. I will always stop here to eat if given the choice for that reason.

Family owned and operated business in Utica for many years now. You can't miss their newer neon green awning on the outside of the building. Some small changes on the inside now that should improve their customer service times. They are still the same delicious freshly made bagels from scratch & now that Julie is back making the cream cheese they are once again delicious when getting cream cheese on them. :) However, we opted for more of a lunch today and got pizza bagels.

I love their bagels. I travel to Utica to visit family and take a couple dozen bagels home with me. They freeze very well so I can enjoy the bagels for a few months when I return home.

If you are Chatty with the ladies, they will remember your name, I go there EVERYDAY for my Coffee, Freshly ground everyday, I love the coffee and bagels, Onion with Chive cream cheese yummy, brush your teeth after. No preservatives. Yes they mess up an order now and then, but, we are Human, I work at Autozone, I sometimes mess up too. You can't be 100% perfect on every order.

I could write reams about how excellent each offering they have is. They source great soups, they have delish bagel chips, they do lox spread right (rarer than you think), and on and on... but here's the only thing you need to know. This Jew (me) has eaten bagels since he was born all over the world, and these are the single greatest bagels that I've ever had. Anywhere. At any price. In any country. EVERY. TIME. My children can detect traces of sugar in bread products. They highly prefer the plain bagels here for not being sweet compared to Willie's. And they enjoy watching the bagels getting boiled. The weekly specials are fun like the green bagels for st patricks and rainbow for autism awareness.

Bagels here are always amazing, I love the texture! It's a slightly crunchy glazed outside with a chewy, fluffy inside. Some bagel flavors rotate so there's always something different to try! Cream cheese is thick and good quality; worth it. 14 bagel dozens are a really good deal for the quality and you can freeze/fridge em up! Breakfast sandwiches are one of my top fav to go items around; delicious and good price. Have ordered here more than 15 times!

I ordered three dozen assortment bagels for a Bridal Shower I hosted near Albany. The bagels were a hit and absolutely delicious. I was a little worried because I had to pick them up the day before the event but they were still very fresh the next day. Pleased as always with the Bagel Grove!

I have been here every morning at periods of time while working in close proximity and love the personable experience. As I return after some time, I continue to be met with kindness, eye contact, and accuracy with the evolving staff. Recently, I pulled in the parking lot at 12pm (closing time) on a Sunday. I had stopped at multiple places to grab some bagels along my route to where I was heading. I preferred to get them from here as they are made well, but it was out of the way. After no luck, I took my chances and drove there. JUST short on time- 12:01pm on the dot. I watched the gentleman let people out as they were locking up. I took the chance to ask if I could pay cash for a few bagels to make at home. It was refreshing to be met with “yes, come on in and you can pick from what’s left.” THANK YOU. Those 3 bagels were topped with leftover filet mignon afterwards and it would’ve been a shame to pair that with a subpar bagel 🥯🙃 THESE are the moments that make or break a quality local business worth supporting. Bagel Grove makes great bagels as their craft and most importantly delivers on service that exceeds expectations. Keep it up, team! 🙌

Excellent fresh and super tasty bagels that are not “doughy”. They have the best cream cheese. My favorite is the chives and my wife likes the lox (smoked salmon). If you get there early enough, you can watch them make the bagels. They also have everything packets so you can add more …

Every single visit to Bagel Grove has been great. Their bagel sandwiches are to die for. It can get busy at times but remain patient as it is completely worth it. The customer service is always excellent. All of the staff are very kind.

I've lived in the Utica area my entire life and always wanted to give this place a try. Boy was I doing myself a disservice! The food was absolutely fantastic for going there my first time ever! Do wish they were open a little longer, though. But overall I loved it! Definitely will be going again in the future!

One of the best Utican places to visit when you desire the BEST bagel in the world. Friendly staff, polite atmosphere just dinámico. They have the greatest Utica Green bagel that is to die for and there Everything Spicy bagel is as they say in my hometown “The Bomb”!.

Let me start by saying that these bagels were absolutely delicious albeit smaller In comparison to other bagels shops I’ve ordered from such as from New Yorker bagels. Ordered for delivery out of state. Ordered on a Sunday received it on a Friday, a bit disappointing for $13 shipping for a dozen bagels and a candy bar. Overall, Pleased with the bagel order and will order from again, but would like to see them increase the size of the product, and Try to ship a bit quicker. Also, I would love to be able to order the veggie cream cheese, but it requires $94 shipping versus $13.

Everything bagel itself was great, but let me tell you…. The chive cream cheese was nasty. I would say I am a bagel snob, and love a good NY deli bagel with chive cream cheese. This was nothing like I’ve ever had before. It almost tasted like spinach instead of chive? It was so gross, I don’t know if I just got a bad spoiled batch, but next time I come, I definitely will not be getting that. Stick to sweet bagels/cream cheese or plain. Turkey bagel sandwich was AMAZING though. Super fresh. I am very familiar with homemade cream cheese, and have ate at plenty of bagel shops that made their own cream cheese. I appreciate the response, but it doesn’t change the fact that the chive did not taste good unfortunately. Thanks for the response though, I will be back!

I've always heard great reviews about this place and was so excited to finally dine here however I left disappointed. It may have been an off day for staff though seeing that others say they're usually great and the manager was very nice when he greeted me but the moment he went into the back I was rushed for my order even though I was the only customer. Than my bagels were literally thrown in my bag and shoved at me. I will be going back again maybe for they're holiday green bagel. Everyone deserves a second chance but this time I'll go prepared for the worst opposed to being giddy to go like I was today. Til than I leave my personal experience rating of 3. Will update next visit.

Decent breakfast or brunch spot. Generally friendly staff and a nice environment. Variety of bagels which are overall pretty good, but they are on the "bready" side of bageldom. Truly the best bagel place in Utica, but can't compare with a real NYC bagel. Very wide variety of toppings, but again, the final product isn't something that will make your tastebuds say "HOLY $&!#" and make you want to really go out of your way top come back.

I have been coming here for years to pick up bagels for my XC team and the service is OK. Nothing spectacular. Often times slow. I try to avoid coming here. The bagels seem to dry out rather quickly too. I don't come here for personal foodstuffs. I just go here when I am told to for work.

My fiance and I ordered two breakfast sandwiches. He got a bacon, ham, egg and mozzarella cheese on a bagel. I got a bacon egg and cheddar cheese on a bagel. He received a sausage egg and cheese and I got a Canadian bacon (so... Ham?) egg and mozzarella cheese lol so our orders were completely wrong but for what we got, it tasted really good.

How disappointed I was to order 3 Zeina bagels today at $7 a bagel. Then I asked for feta on them. No one tells me until pick up it's $7 upcharge on each bagel!! Call me crazy I can buy a block of feta for $5 and use it on two dozen bagel! Total disrespect to a local customer! Total oder $50 dollars. That is crazy!!! Talked with manager Bob and he is making it right. They charged me for 6 special bagel do to no key on register for feta. In the end great 👍 bagel and thank you Bob for making it right.

Decent food, service good but idk how I feel about 1 piece of ham on my $3.49 cent sandwich. Canadian bacon was way better, at least put 2 pieces of ham!

Very friendly service and employees but had I known a small coffee with a salmon bagel which was very sloppily made by the way would have cost me 15 almost 16 dollars I would have never went there and wont be coming back good luck.in the future bagel grove

This place has fallen. Not sure what is going on but few weekends in a row I come in many hours before closing time to find out they are almost out of every kind of bagel. Never used to be this way. It’s disappointing. I’ll add that your competition is making breakfast sandwiches fresh not with microwaveable eggs and meats.

I'm disappointed I waited 30 minutes for one bagel toasted. Also went to the counter twice to check if I may have missed my name or number, just to find out that my number was overlooked all together. Bagel groves service is usually better than this.

The online menu is oudated and they could not concieve of someone not wanting meat on a bagel. Bagel was mediocre. Sandwich assembled poorly. 25$ for confusing service and mediocre food.

Came into bagel grove to order 2 bagels bacon egg and cheese with mayonnaise. Little did I know I was actually buying bagels with a pound of mayonnaise. I had more mayonnaise on my bagel then I had an actual egg or bacon. Then to top it off the way employees were talking to one another in front of customers was just disgusting!!! Never coming to this establishment again !

Update 2/16/2020: Ordered online again. Noted the time and even wrote in "ASAP". Naturally I arrived a few minutes earlier than the time I listed. Not on the pick up rack. No big deal, it's busy. But my pickup time rolls around and I inquire about my order and the woman looks at me like I have three heads. She calls to someone else who informs her the order isn't even started. I'm not sure if these workers just don't know how to use their online order receiver or if they're just grossly incompetent. But I keep giving them a try every few months and they fail almost every time. Placed a to go order and they placed it on the back counter to sit for 20 minutes while I waited. Didn't offer so much as an apology or acknowledgement of their mistake. Staff is utterly incompetent. Flies throughout the bagel bins. Takes 30 minutes if you order at the counter. Edit: Returned home with the food and it was wrong. Not sure what is so difficult about reading a printed order from their website. It's right there to be double checked and confirmed but 50% of the time it is incorrect. Go some place where they can read and know how to do their jobs. Edit: Owner offered me $5 off coupon. Less than the amount they screwed up on the previous order. Used the coupon on 11/2/19. Put it in for 10:30 pickup. Not only was the order not ready at 10:30 but they hadn't even begun making the order. Absolutely the worst service in the Utica area. Guess I'll continue the hiatus of eating here. Maybe they'll get some competent staff but until that happens this is a one-star establishment.

Poor quality! Paid $8.49, before tax, for a maple bacon, egg, and cheese which came with chips. Every element but the bagged chips was terrible! The bacon was more brittle than potatoes chips, dry and tasteless. The bacon is supposed to be the selling point of this $9 sandwich and it was worse than any fast food place- and they are across from McDonald’s!! The eggs are the exact same deal- taste like they were made hours ago and put under tin foil. Dont wanna assume but ive done that and thats what it tastes like. Service was slow as i saw two people walk in and walk out all while i waited for 1 sandwich. Used to love this place before the pandemic but the quality has shot right down. I had to throw out a sandwich worth almost 1 hour of pay!! Enjoying a sandwich from Charlies Diner for almost HALF THE COST!!! Same amount of bacon…

Ordered food, didn’t know pickup window was in the back. Stood 5feet away from the pickup window told can’t stand there like your in a TSA line to get a bagel. Lady behind me leaning up to the window wasn’t told to move. Also if it was busy and I was in the way I would understand but there was 2 people there one was me waiting for food and the other was as the lady that was ordering and came up to the window behind me and wasnt told to move. Will never be back lady was RUDE. Also if you don’t want people to “watch” you make the food then put the prep station in the back and close it off. Asked for a refund was given that promptly by the manager. She was nice employee however needs a lesson in manners.

Never in my life have I had a food service worker be more rude me me. She yelled at me for touching the paper bag on the counter that had the name on the Order facing away from me. This was after I already checked where the normal to go orders are held. I then said “I was just checking to see if it was my order” and she responded with a disgusted look yelling “don’t touch it” and rolled her eyes. Unacceptable.

Bagels are fresh and good! just like the cream cheese is also good, that they get from elsewhere. Sadly Customer service suck for most of the employees (RUDE)that work front register ,Sarah and the girls that makes the sandwiches in back are nice and friendly always is smiling, But especially that NEW girl at the register, nasty ATTITUDE doesn’t even greet or smile or anything.(3rd time ) SMH 🤷🏼‍♂️ I don’t even wanna go back with that ATTITUDE no matter how good bagels are I got options!🥯 I’m so appalled you must (owner) doesn’t know what’s going on in the front. 😅
