Delicious, the service is very fast, and the waitresses are always attentive to the diners; you don't have to chase them around to get your attention. The place is nice and clean, with no air conditioning due to the structure and design, but it's pleasant. The appetizers are cooked over a wood fire and therefore have an exquisite flavor.

The shop is small inside and located within the market. The prices are quite reasonable, and the food is really good. The service is fast.

If you're impatient and usually eat out of obligation, arriving with a limited amount of time, it's not recommended. They're very poorly managed when it comes to serving orders. For example, if you order three entrées and two empanadas and you're with two or three people, they'll give you one incomplete order, then another, and so on. I mean, they don't deliver to each table; it's practically a matter of ordering. I understand there's a cooking process involved, but it's very poorly done, and that causes your order to get delayed. A simple order of four or five pieces turns into an hour and a half wait.

I'm giving it 3 stars for the service the waitress provided. They should hire more helpful people. I'm not from Veracruz (so I don't know the menu), and the waitress, with her rude answers, asked her what drinks she had, and she said only soda and tamarind water (my mom and I were craving something hot). Later, we saw a man brought a pot of coffee. When we told the waitress, she replied that we never asked for coffee, and it's obvious since she never offered or mentioned coffee to us. When we asked her what drinks they had, she should have included coffee. People who aren't from Veracruz don't know the menu or the drinks they sell. It was a bad experience, and honestly, every time I come to visit my family, I won't eat here again.

Bad experience on my last visit. We waited over 50 minutes and were told there were still three orders left. If you don't mind spending over an hour waiting, the food is good, but it's not worth the wait.

The flavor is good and the price is affordable, but the service isn't great. We arrived at 2 and were told they could only serve us appetizers because they were about to close. They took our order and it took over half an hour to bring us five appetizers. We ordered them with meat and sausage, and they gave us the plain ones because they realized they weren't enough (the attitude from the moment they served us was one of displeasure, because they didn't want to serve you anymore). If they want to close at a certain time, it's better to let you know as soon as you walk in that they'll stop serving you.
