We were fortunate enough to walk into this restaurant when we were in Valladolid. This place is wonderful, our group of 4 ordered 4 different meals and they all turned out perfect. The service, presentation, flavour and atmosphere were all top notch. This is definitely worth a visit, and the light, wonderful sauce they service with the chips when you sit down is excellent.
The Mexican food at this restaurant was very good. We especially liked the cochinita - slow cooked pulled pork in a delicious thin, red sauce. The sauce was so flavorful I used some tortillas to soak it all up. We also tried the poc chuc made with chicken (thin slices of meat first marinated and then grilled), which was tasty although my son thought the poc chuc was a bit dry. Service was professional and helpful. We enjoyed the traditional Mexican atmosphere.
Amazing place. Incredible food and friendly staff. Reasonable price. You must try the "tabla regional", molcajete de arrachera", or "sopa de lima", and don't forget the signature dessert "paladar de cura"!
An amazing experience, I usually go for street food when I travel, but Paladar de Cura turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The restaurant is beautiful, service is great, the food is delicious and comes in generous portions at a reasonable price. I highly recommend the "The tabla regional" a culinary tour of the most famous offerings of the area, more than enough for 2 people. We also ordered arrechera (flank steak) it was delicious, and a big portion for one person. I had the "queso relleno" one of the most unique dishes I ever had although not sure it's for everyone. We decided to disregard personal integrity and shared a flan for desert. In all honesty this food was enough for like 4 people. All dishes, including 2 Chaya/Pineapple/Lime aguas (highly recommend) came out to $1000 pesos($52 USD), which is not bad for a fine restaurant. We will be returning for the specialty desert on our way back to Cancun
We ate here as part of our excursion package and they know how to pick the best place to eat! This was an adorable restaurant with amazing service and the food was EXCEPTIONAL! Everything we tried was melt in your mouth amazing! I highly recommend trying the queso with chorizo, the guacamole and chips and the pork!
Like many others we stopped here as part of a tour. We had a private group so it was just the 3 of us and we arrived a bit before the large buses typically hit the area. The food turned out to be amazing. We sampled several of the dishes family style and I HIGHLY recommend the Chile Relleno - it was by far the best of the selections. Tamales with red & green sauce were good, a local aztec based soup was very good (spicy), and the steak, while decent, was our least favorite as the cut of beef was a bit tough. The guacamole appetizer was also very good. My wife and I were introduced to "green juice" (Chaya) here, and while every restaurant has a different variety, this place made it with sweet, over ice, and with a bit of lime. Absolutely delicious and refreshing on a hot day. Overall I'd gladly return here for another Relleno and some of their green juice. Very highly recommended.
Ate here on a guided tour. We had cochinita pibil and longaniza de Valladolid as our mains with the guacamole and chips and a slice of flan for dessert. The guacamole was a highlight for sure -- so creamy and delicious, and the chips were fresh and warm without being greasy. The pork was tender and juicy and delicious as tacos.

The best family restaurant. Best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my entire life. And I’m old and have had a lot of food. The best.

This spot is delicious! Pablo was our server, and he was very attentive. We came back the next day because the food was just finger licking! Recommend this place 10/10.

Great food and wonderful service. Wonderful view of Convento de San Bernardino de Siena as we are our lunch. Guacamole and strawberry lemonade might have been the best I’ve ever had.
This place is such a gem! The food and staff were excellent. The coconut ice cream was soooo good. I can’t wait to visit this place again on my next trip to Mexico
Excellent! The taste of the food and portions are great. The place is beautiful, has a great location, and an amazing view of the convent. We had breakfast and will come back to have dinner!
My wife and I stopped her twice in one day while touring the Mayan ruins. Breakfast was coffee and a massive plate of fruit. Later for lunch we had

This restaurant is a little off the beaten path right across from a large church. We started off by ordering some drinks- including iced tea and cucumber lime agua and Chaya lime pineapple (this one was ok).We ordered a few dishes to share: the regional table, the coconut shrimp, and the chili rellano. The regional table is a great way to sample many of the different local dishes listed under the traditional column. We really enjoyed the guacamole, local sausage, local tacos, and sauces that came with the sampler. The coconut shrimp was alright, the crust was a bit thick so it led to the shrimp being a bit too crunchy. The chili rellano was amazing! We opted for the meat and cheese. You could taste how fresh the poblano pepper was and the sauce that surrounded the pepper went so well with the meat and cheese filling. Overall we really enjoyed this restaurant.
Our guide suggested we try this restaurant and ordered a few dishes to sample. All were very good, especially the fish. Surprisingly, the tortillas were extremely bland and the tortilla chips didn't have much flavor either. Of course, covering both in guacamole did the trick. Service was extremely polite and welcoming, which was on par with other restaurants we tried during our stay. All in all, not bad.
Stopped by here for b-fast before heading to chicken itza. Atmosphere is amazing, its a small little place that can be hard to miss. Our order got slightly mixed up. Instead of bringing poached eggs they brought scrambled. They fixed it but it was another 10min wait while i was waiting for my partners food to come
Loved the food here, it was an amazing example of local mexican (Yucatan) cuisine and a lovely restaurant. The place itself, has an inside and an outside terrace area and is comfy. The food itself was amazing from the cochinita pibil, lime soup, chilaquiles and fried tacos it was all amazing. It is also however immense in size, we couldn't get close to finishing what was served to us, so sad to see such delicious food go to waste. Food wise top notch, service wise was a little confusing. We came with a tour which pays for the food (and order in advance) but you essentially need to pay the service, a new one to us but worth keeping an eye out for to avoid misunderstanding. Not much ambience at lunch time when we went. If you're coming for the food though you won't be disappointed, it was truly one of the highlights of our trip!
Great place to get some upscale local food in Valladolid. Nice fromt restaurant with garden back area. Food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the local sausage. Wasn’t suce much on my other dish which was a locss as l speciality but I found it pretty flavourless. Service was pretty slow but very accommodating to our special needs.
In general I got disappointed, the food was medium.. we had the quesandilla with mushrooms, it was very sour ( not sure if that was intentional) and a mexical dish with eggs, I don't remember the name, that was just fine. Americano coffee was not nice, too watery (tasteless). The service was very good and the staff very polite! The prices quite high.. in general I got the feeling that they were trying to look like a high level service restaurant but they are lucking in respect to their dishes. If you are interested in European/ American style cuisine maybe its a good place to go to, if you are looking for Mexican/Yucatan cuisine don't go..
