Outstanding Mexican food that comes in huge portions. We had the green burrito and the Mexican chicken caesar salad... It's was perfect. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality food at a great price
I like the atmosphere in the restaurant, it's well decorated and looks really neat for the Mexicon theme inside. The food was good, large quantities and none of us finished our order and we all took the rest home for next meal. Good flavor, nice environment, feel it's good place to dine in with your family.
I ordered takeout for my first visit here. The cheese enchiladas were good and the beans were tasty but a little runny/very smooth. There is a salsa bar which has a 5-10 different salsa options which is very cool! Overall I wish the enchiladas had some more flavor (I think it was the sauce that wasn't the best) and the weren't so runny. Update: I tried eating at the restaurant and had a much better experience - each dish comes with a lot of food, so be prepared to either be very full or take home leftovers. The salsa bar makes this place a fun experience!
Salsa and Beer #1 – 5 Stars Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! I ordered the #1 Fajitas Combo and it was out of this world—flavorful, sizzling hot, and perfectly cooked. The service? Unbelievably fast. I placed my order, stepped into the restroom, and came back to my food already on the table. I couldn’t believe it! The staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and the energy in the place is just awesome. If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. This spot deserves all 5 stars and then some!
Fajita Fiesta: An Epic Tale of Smoke, Juiciness, and Salsa Galore Once upon a time, in the mythical realm of the Valley, there was a magical Mexican restaurant where fajitas were forged in the fires of flavor. Picture each sizzling, smoky, juicy morsel as a culinary love letter from the Aztec gods themselves. Hashtags can barely contain the excitement: #Smoky #Juicy #LifeChangingFajitas! But wait, there's more! Behold, the legendary self-serve, all-you-can-eat salsa bar - a treasure trove of tantalizing tastes, waiting for you to embark on a quest to find your one true salsa soulmate. Will it be spicy, sweet, or tangy? The choice is yours, brave explorer! As for seating arrangements, the restaurant offers the best of both worlds, like a choose-your-own-adventure novel for your dining pleasure. Will you brave the great outdoors and dine al fresco, basking in the glory of Mother Nature (ok, more of a view of parking lot) while feasting on fajitas? Or will you opt for the cozy indoors, surrounded by the warm embrace of festive decorations? Whichever path you choose, a fiesta awaits!
First thing, food is great. The inside seating is relativley small but intimate, exciting and fun vibe. If your looking for a little more privacy their outside seating is great, beautiful patio.
Probably the most delicious cheese enchilada I've ever had, and the salsa bar was delicious.
The food was cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch. I left feeling impressed and happy.
Amazing place. It is so famous that You have to wait around 45 min to get a table so if u visit this restaurant you had to plan to wait at least that time, food is incredible, this is my first time here and i will come back soon. prices are really good not bad for the amount of food that they give it to you… total of my family 11 people..
Always great service. Great food. Whenever I'm close I make it a point to stop by.
I would like to express my positive feedback regarding the cuisine provided at this establishment. The food is truly exceptional and reminds me of the delicious homemade meals I am accustomed to,😜despite the fact that I’m Persian and my favorite food is ghormesabzi. Without a doubt, this place offers some of the finest Mexican cuisine in the city of Los Angeles.
wow. Came here with my husband and father for lunch on a Monday afternoon. They have a nice size parking lot joined in a little strip mall type of different businesses. They didn't look crowded or busy from the outside but inside it was pretty packed and its such a small restaurant but the lady greeted us with a smile took my name and phone number and said they would text when our table was ready ( 20 minutes estimated wait time) but it was only about a 15 minute wait actually. The atmosphere was welcoming and lively. Everybody we encountered was happy and friendly. After we where seated we where given some chips and bean dip! Different then the typical salsa and the bean dip was super creamy and had a nice little spice kick to it, it was really good. The menu is pretty big too. I ordered two chicken tacos, my husband ordered a # 11 combo and my dad a # 8 combo. All of our food came out pretty fast too, all the plates where hot to the touch and the food looked and smelled amazing, presentation was spot on. Talk about authentic tasting, fresh and flavorful food! The chicken was grilled to perfection. My husband and dad really enjoyed there combos too, everything was fresh, hot and full of flavor. They didn't however ask my dad and husband what kind of enchiladas or taquitos they wanted and neither of the spoke up to tell them what kind they wanted so they each got one cheese and one meat taquitos and one cheese and meat enchilada . ( besides my dads number 8 combo that came with only one enchilada , which they gave him a cheese enchilada I believe.) Regardless neither one of them seemed to care and happily ate it. Portions are huge! Just look at the pictures I posted! Each plate is Enough for 2 meals easily. (Besides my taco plate I ordered al la cart) They have a salsa bar too with a nice selection of different types of salsa. I tried the avocado salsa , the spicy green salsa and the spicy orange salsa. The avocado salsa was the one I was looking most forward to since I love avocados, but it was a bit of a disappointment to be honest, it didn't taste bad it just didn't have much flavor to it, maybe this batch wasn't made as great as it usually is? The orange salsa was not spicy and tasted okay, The spicy green was not very spicy either but had a nice flavor to it and it ended up being the one I used on my tacos. I also ordered there Jamaica drink and it was pretty good too, not to thick or sugary at all. Perfect in consistency. The restrooms where very clean as well. Our entire bill for 3 meals really 6 meals because of the huge portions along with a Jamaica , coke and corona all totaled to about 42$! Overall we all rated this place a 5 out of 5 because it was just that good. Look at all the reviews and there overall rating! If you live near here or are in the area or passing by like we where I highly suggest Salsa and Beer!
I have several Mexican restaurant favorites that I’m willing to drive a long distance for and this place is definitely one of them. We always end up getting the Pollo Tampiqueno and Jalapeño Asada and share them. The salsa bar is great as well. The only thing that can make the experience better is great service, and Carmen makes that happen. She is attentive, friendly, and her amazing customer service turns a good meal to a wonderful dinning experience.
They have never failed me , food is amazing and service is fast .been going for years to all the locations and always same good food . The salsa bar is the most fun. We fight over the spicy carrots 🤣
Awesome Mexican food. They serve great food at great prices. The quantity is also more than sufficient for a normal person. The staff shows an excellent attitude. There's usually rush here and you might have to wait approximately 30 mins to an hour at times. Altogether, nice experience 👍👍..loved the food❤️
As a native valley boi, I am aware that this Mexican joint is legendary in valley lore but have only been here a handful of times in my life. With that said, it lives up to the hype and the food is excellent. The chips are served fresh, the bean dip is top tier, and the salsa bar is to die for. I need to go here more often when I’m in town. Portions are huge by the way. Come with a group, come hungry, and ready to share.
I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet as I have been multiple times over the years. I would say they have the best Mexican food in the valley. The salsa bar is currently closed due to Covid but they bring it by request to the table. The bean dip they bring with the chips is fire. A little spicy, but delicious. I ordered a blended strawberry margarita. They are wine based as I don't believe they have hard liquor but still just as good. The fajitas are a popular pick. This time around, I got the shrimp fajitas and my partner got a chicken quesadilla. There tends to be a bit of a wait at time but I promise you, it's worth it.
Without a doubt, one of the best Mexican restaurants in the country. Everything, even the appetizers, are made deliciously. And portions are HUGE! I don’t think I’ve ever finished a whole plate before. My fiancée and I have to share a plate every time we go. But we prefer to order our own, so we have seconds to go! Truly a gem in LA Bring lactaid if you are sensitive to cheese though cause everything is lathered in it lol
Really good food and portion sizes. I love the bean dip that came with the chips and the food itself was very flavorful and what I'd hoped. Feeds you for a couple meals but isn't the cheapest so it evens out.
AUTHENTIC Mexican food! I can’t believe this is my first time rating this place! This place is constantly packed and for good reason: their staff is amazing, kind, and friendly! Food is beyond delicious I have been going here for years… I brought family who visited from out of state and they were blown away as well. Now granted… their parking isn’t the best and it’s often hard to find an available spot. Honestly parking is very annoying. That would be the only thing that is a headache for this certain location but either way, 10 out of 10! I don’t eat meat. I always order the Vegetarian Burrito, the enchiladas, or the chile relleno. Sooooo delicious
The food here is always incredible. We always start with the chips and beans—just be careful not to fill up too much, or you won’t have room for your main dish. I usually go for the asada or chicken quesadilla, hold the pico de gallo, and add sour cream instead. Every time, it’s absolute perfection. My kids are still easing into things—they mostly stick to rice, chips, and sometimes beans. Eventually, I know they’ll graduate to burritos or something bigger. The service here is always top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick to bring whatever you need with a smile. Seating can be a bit tight depending on the time of day, so you might have to wait, but trust me—it’s worth it. There’s also outdoor seating under a tent, perfect for warm summer days. Parking can be tricky since the lot is shared with other businesses, and some spots are reserved for stores that close early. If the lot is full, you might need to park on the street or in the neighborhood nearby. The ambiance is exactly what you’d expect from an authentic Mexican restaurant—warm, colorful, and filled with traditional décor. I’ve been here so many times it feels like home. See you next time, Salsa and Beer. I miss you every time I have to settle for anywhere else—this place is the Mecca of Mexican restaurants!
Amazing food. Fast service. Bar area while you wait. Large dining area. Parking tends to be very limited during busy times, so plan ahead.
This place exceeded my expectations, the super big size dishes, Omar, a very polite young man, attended us and explained everything about our order...a super family place full of many people...I recommend it and you must be very hungry... .that's a lot of food🫠🫠😋😋😋😋🥑🍅🍺everything you see in the photos cost me $69.00 plus soda.
Love Salsa and Beer! I have been going here since I was a young kid. Price point is great, the food is amazing, the in house salsa is incredible, and the spicy bean dip is unmatched! This place is 100/100
Had covered outdoor seating. Portion sizes are massive so def recommend sharing (I normally never split but these are enormous). Very delicious food and good quick service.
Always delicious & large portions. Great service. Dining room can get crowded, but it's worth the wait. Disappointed they don't have fish tacos or any fish except for shrimp.
I love getting the (cheese is cheaper) enchilada a la carte with rice and beans. They give you chips and beans and salsa and it’s $10 for cheese and about $14 for chicken!!!! I get it so much now a days because it’s same price as a drive thru and they are so quick and accommodating at this location.
I swear this is the absolute best Mexican food I have ever had in my life. The cream chicken enchiladas are amazing. Huge and delicious. Beans and rice are amazing. Chips hot and fresh. The salsa bar in unbelievable. You have to try the spicy orange. It had a peanut butter taste and is my very favorite. We drive from 8 hours and go here. We recently found this place about a year ago and when we head home from Disneyland we make a point to go there for lunch or dinner. You will not regret this place.
He got creamy chicken, I got molcajete chicken enchiladas. The beans and rice are delicious. Reminds me of the flavor of my mom's sopa. Biiig portions, make sure you take it home in their microwavable containers. My dinner ended up being 3 meals. We got there early and got lucky. When we left, there was a long line.
I had an opportunity to try the Salsa & Beer location in N Hollywood, and it was a great experience. Carlos was knowledgeable and courteous. I went with my son, he had shrimp enchiladas and I ordered the mixed fajitas. The service was prompt, and the food arrived quickly and was quite flavorful. I loved the salsa bar, where you're able to try the salsa offerings they have. They have their own parking lot, with an attendant that is directing traffic. I would definitely visit again and explore more of the menu options. I definitely recommend Salsa and Beer.
Salsa & Beer has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for years and nothing comes close in terms of quality! I recently went on a weekday around 7:30 pm and needed to wait 30 minutes for a party of 6. There are seatings available inside and outside as well. For parking, there is a lot shared with other businesses, but it tends to fill up quickly. I tend to park on the street nearby and walk over. The service is often really great. Server came frequently to check in. However, they did forget one of our orders at the time. They apologized to us numerous times and even offered extra portion of rice, which was great. After we order, they always give free tortilla chips and bean dip. There is also a salsa beer inside as well. The bean dip is by far the best that I’ve ever had. In terms of my order, I got the spicy green burrito. I could only say this was perfection! It was cheesy, the bean and rice had a lot of flavor, and it was spicy.
My friends took me here for the first time last weekend, and I was very impressed! Chips and salsa were good, I liked the salsa bar with lots of options although some of them looked a little too rustic for my taste. The food was absolutely delicious. I got a chicken burrito and the chicken itself was delicious, had a delicious grilled /charred taste, the beans were really good and the rice was a little bit spicy, which I loved! Service was good, but could use improvement. I think they are just a little too busy. I’m not enough staff. Was a little loud and hectic inside, the patio looked great, but it was a little too hot for that.
My recent visit to Salsa and Beer #1 with a large group of 14 was a delightful culinary adventure, made all the more enjoyable by our server Juan. His attentiveness and skill in managing our large party were commendable, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the freshness and taste of the food. Everything served was brimming with flavor, capturing the essence of authentic Mexican cuisine. My personal choice, a Michelada, stood out as one of the best I’ve ever had. It struck the right balance of flavors without being overly spicy, a perfect accompaniment to the meal. The complimentary chips, served with beans, were a hit at our table. They were seasoned perfectly, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite. As for the main course, my burrito was a substantial serving, so generously portioned that finishing it was a delightful challenge. Another aspect that pleasantly surprised us was the affordability of the meals. The prices were quite reasonable, making the delicious food even more enjoyable, knowing it didn’t come with a hefty price tag. While we did encounter a wait before being seated, it was absolutely worth it. The wait time paled in comparison to the quality of food and service we experienced.

Good food and drink at a good price. The only thing i don't like is you have to get up to get salsa

This Mexican restaurant is a quaint little restaurant. If your looking for it and you blink you will miss it. The food is really good, the steak is cooked outdoors. the price is average and the servers are so friendly and efficient. The atmosphere and decor remind me of a little restaurant I like in Encenada Mexico.
I love this place. It's a reliable go-to close to us that serves exactly what we're craving. It's well made Mexican specialties with excellent flavor and freshness. This location has folk art painted on the walls so it's a fun festive place to hang. It's a mix of families, couples and big tables full of kids in sports uniforms celebrating after the game. Very local valley vibe. Comfortable booths surround tables in the middle of the room. The servers are crisp, efficient, professional and friendly. They all have the same uniform, all black with a Mexican flag on one shoulder and the American flag on the other. They carry tablets slung over their shoulder to enter the order immediately. When you sit they serve you fresh chips and well seasoned slightly spicy bean dip. There's a salsa bar with more than enough variety for you to compliment whatever you ordered. My girlfriend is a creature of habit, her go-to at any mexican restaurant is shredded beef enchiladas with ranchero sauce. Salsa & Beer makes the best version of it we've had by a mile, no one else comes close. It's tender stewed beef like Birria, but in nice large chunks, not shredded. Well seasoned. They use some cheese blend there that is outstanding. Servers tell us it's mozzarella, but it isn't. It melts really creamy and soft, not elastic like mozz. Like pepper jack. I get a variety of things, sometimes she inspires me to get beef enchiladas too, but this time I ordered carne asada tacos. I've eaten about a million asada tacos in my life but these blow me away. Look at the photo I posted, between 2 tacos it's got to be a half-pound of carne. And nice tender meat too with a good grilled flavor, not chopped up chewy rubber bands that most cheap taco shops sell. It's so much beef that when you pick the taco up to eat it half of the meat falls out because the tortilla is not big enough to hold it all. 6" tortilla, not chicanita. I'm a big boy but I could only eat one of the tacos. Rice and refried beans with everything with that glorious cheese melted on top. Scoop of guac and rough chopped pico. If you live in the area and you haven't been here you're missing out.
The food is DELICIOUS!!! There was a 20-30 min wait to get in. the restaurant is small, compact, and crowded but lively. The walls and ceiling are painted in bright colors and Mexican motifs. There is one bathroom available per gender. Once again, the food was great; the rice, beans and chicken enchiladas I ordered were so flavorful and well cooked! The steak and chicken my dad got was also tasty! I highly recommend this place!! 😋🍛
Good place to enjoy BIG plates portions 🍽. Enjoy your visit and take time and make reservations in advance. Otherwise, waiting time would be over an hour. Food and beverages are regular, not exceptional. Not enough parking spaces and a horros to find something close. Waiting time outside and waiting time after your order is not good. Bring some patience on your next visit. This is the type of restaurant I visit only once. Enjoy your visit.
Carne asada, bean dip, drinks, and the wait. That's all that matters! The carne asada is delicious! The bean dip with chips is passable. There's much better at other SFV restaurants, but it is better than salsa. And now they have their full liquor license, so no more wine margaritas unless you're in to that. Service is spotty, and the atmosphere(really a 3.5 stars rating) is just okay. But the food is so good the wait can be extremely long and the parking lot SUCKS! We always cross our fingers for street parking. Trust me, the food is worth the negatives.
Been coming here for years, the food and service has always been outstanding. Their bean dip is IMO one of the best I have had. Staff is friendly and attentive, prices are great for the huge portions you get. The only negative things are, the wait times whether you dine in or take out(but the wait is worth it) and parking, which is horrible but still worth waiting or parking on the street.
First time at Salsa and Beers, can say I was very impressed. The customer service was great, they were a bit understaffed so it took a few minutes to order but worth the wait! I got the chicken flautas, which were delicious! However, the true mvp of this experience was the bean dip they bring out with the tortilla chips. It had just enough of a kick to it and full of flavor. Would come back just to eat that. They do have parking, however, they are located in small shopping center and it fills up quick. Ample street parking though. Highly recommend you go here if you’re in the area and craving delicious Mexican food.
The food was great! I got fajitas and they hit the spot, delicious. The service wasn't great, but only because the place was so busy and popular it was very hectic. I recommend going here because the food was so good and I didn't mind the place being a little hectic.
I so want to give them 5 stars, but it gets so crowded and they don't take reservations. Last time we went the wait was an hour and that nuts, so we had it made to go. Their place ever so cute. I love the orange paint and the inside is adorable. The place is always clean. The service there is great. The staff is fast and super nice. They know the menu and get your order right the first time and this makes no difference whether you are picking up or eating there. We have eaten there before. The food is great. We love all of it. I love their rice and beans, they do it well. Their taquitos are super. They have some great salads to try, we have had a few and they were really good. Their shrimp dishes are wonderful. Get something with shrimp. You will be in heaven.
The atmosphere outside was great! They had heaters outside, so it wasn't bad. It was really crowded inside and a lot of smoke from the kitchen, so we chose to sit outside. Loved that they had a salsa bar. Chips were great. Not a lot of vegetarian options but they were helpful in suggesting what to get. No good vegan options. Hubby got taquitos and he like them. I got the vegetarian burrito, but it was just ok. Not a fan of it. Overall we had a good time and and would definitely recommend to try it out!

Super Delicious food, waitress and cashier attitudes suffer. Too bad, parking is scarce, area could be better. Friendly surrounding businesses.

Food was good nothing spectacular but it gets the job done. I think I might try something else on the menu the free ships were nice and I would have preferred free salsa because of the name but we got a type of bean dip instead. Service is great and fast and the atmosphere felt like I was in Mexico.
Usually everything is a 5 star, unfortunately on this day it was not. The food was great, but we had and incident as we sat out in the patio. There was a puddle full of old rain and dead insects on tarp over our table. The water and insects fell on my son's head and food. We moved to another table and the meal was replaced. But they did not clear that area and sat others there.
Here the food is okay. They used to be so popular and the price used to so much better than most restaurant in the area... But with the increased prices their food is not worth it anymore. Also on top on the new price and tax they charge 3.95% customer fee (you will pay costumer fee on taxes too) and still you need to add tip too. overall not recommend them anymore.
The only reason I’m giving 5 stars for the service is because of hostess Mireya! She went above and beyond to make up for the horrible attitude of the manager Alfonso. He needs to learn from his staff on how to lead properly.
Service was ok. Food great. Sat us at a table that kept wobbling with door stops under the legs. Could not properly cut our food without the table twisting and turning and shaking.
It's hit or miss for me, love the chips and bean dip, love the taquitos(potato) love me some enchiladas but you never know if it's gonna cause a bad bathroom. Definitely gonna fill you up and at a decent reasonable price. It's in my rotation but maybe a every quarter type of place.
Food is delicious, they serve a great portion of food, which is impossible to finish it all. You will definitely have left overs to take home and enjoy. Their food price is resonable and affordable for the amount of food they serve. The only reason why I am rating this restaurant 3 stars is because of their terrible customer service. Their service is awful! A couple of servers do a great job, but majority doesn't. For example, when they are extremely busy they will disconnect or turn off their restaurant phone line so no more calls are being received. I understand, they get busy, but that's not providing great customer service! I wonder if their manager or owner are aware of this!?! Instead of gaining more customers, they are pushing their customers away. They have been doing this more often. Also, when they get busy they will only serve you chips and bean dip once. The servers and waitress will avoid eye contact and if you request more chips and bean dip they will take forever to bring you more, same thing for the beverage refills. You have to ask them because they will not ask you if you would like a refill on your drinks. Another major issue is their parking lot. There are not alot of parking spaces available. They should really look into relocating close by where more parking spaces are available.
I love this place. Unfortunately Emily in the front with the green hair told me they now charge for salsa cups. A bit disappointed but I guess that is how things are now.
They have a nice patio setup in the parking lot and good separation between tables. You need a newer phone to see the menu that does not have prices. Chips and a slightly spicy warm bean dip, very …
Food is way too salty now. Enchiladas were salty, beans were salty, guacamole was salty, even some of their salsas are salty. That means they're going cheap on real ingredients and trying to compensate for less flavor by using a ton of salt. Salt is always cheaper to add to food than actual ingredients like herbs and spices. I've been going here for many years, and it didn't used to be like this.
You could tell that the food was already made before we ordered. We ordered the food, and two minutes later, they came out with it. The food was extremely hot (microwave hot).
Disappointed. My family and I have been coming here for a very long time. The prices have consistently been going up a lot the last yr which I understand considering inflation but not this much. I also think it's interesting that they don't include the prices on the menu. I just went to Disneyland yesterday and paid $18 for a Mushroom Swiss burger. I got 1 burrito here and out was $24. As much as I love this place I don't think I will be coming back here as the quality has diminished slightly and the price increase is astronomical. Also when you sit outside you get a bit neglected
Took my friend to eat dinner here yesterday and informed the server of a shrimp allergy, they assured us there would be nothing to worry about. We ordered and reiterated the shrimp allergy and once again we were assured there was nothing to worry about. No more than 2 bites in my friend starts having an allergic reaction. Let the server know and they do nothing, I called to speak with a manager to let them know that they should be more truthful about the cross contamination (not to ask for a refund just to make it absolutely clear, I did not ask for my money back). They proceeded to ignore the issue, did not seemed bothered by the issue their dishonesty caused and then said there was no way the issue was their fault. I had already spoken to someone and they said there is a good chance they just didn't pay attention and that I should let the manager know so they can speak to the kitchen crew. The staff was very polite and welcoming but if you have a food allergy this is definitely not the place to come to. Allergies are not taken seriously and they do not care once it's brought to their attention. Risking someone's life simply to not lose a sale is absolutely insane. Again if you have food Allergies this is not a good place to eat.
Overpriced, crowded, slow service, lack of ambiance, loud, food was okay but not great. I got a 2 taco plate and it was $33 with tax and tip. Not worth...

Parking is a real problem for this strip mall locate venue. There are no prices on the menus.... almost $40.00 for chicken fajitas! Food was awesome though but not worth the cost. Fair to poor wait service. Server count not split the check 3 ways and ended up overcharged us 50.00 (se fixed that). there is a 3% surcharge for credit cards. I use to love this place.. now, never again!
First and last time eating here. This is the one of the worst restaurants that ive been to, I couldn’t even finish the food. Wasn’t worth the 1 hour wait, I don’t understand why there is always such long line. Both service and food were terrible, if I could give a lower rating I would.
Well, watch your receipts and your $ everyone when ordering from this place. They are very shady, and thought I will not notice? Well I did because every dollar counts and why would I ever let anyone steal from me?!? That’s exactly what they did! They overcharged me over $10 just few days ago. The manager could not even explain why they charged me over $10 more for the same exact order I placed just few weeks ago. He said he will call me right back once he figures out why they did it. He lied , he never called back, and no money was refunded to my account. That’s straight up theft!
Very disappointed with Salsa & Beer located in Reseda. Placed an order for picked up around 10pm last night. Ordered a dry burrito (no guac, ranchero, sour cream) and regular chicken enchiladas. Spent $60 on my order for them to not care and make the burrito exactly how I DID NOT want it. Did exactly what i told them not to do, so unfortunately it went in the trash and i went to sleep angry & hungry. 👎🏽
The saltiest food I've tried to eat in a while. Looks great, tastes like salt. I think they make it like that to get you to order more beer. I would never recommend this to anyone. Del Taco is less salty.
I'm going to be writing a review for all locations of restaurant has until we get some answers from the owner or a manager about what occurred with my husband last weekend at beer and salsa in North Hollywood on Whitsett and vanowen I feel like this is a joke they're not taking this seriously about what occurred in happened has fallen on deaf ears that may eventually causes to file a lawsuit against the restaurant and the owner
So I just had a crazy experience here. We had a server who was very overwhelmed and constantly making mistakes but we gave me him credit on a busy night and still tipped.... just to have him charge us twice for or meal. When I go back and call him out on his mistake and demand my refund he proceeds to try and start a fight with me. I love this place but that server named Caesar needs to check himself.
⸻ I usually don’t write reviews unless they are truly necessary. I’ve been visiting this place for the last 8 or 9 years, and all the staff knows me and has always been very kind. However, there is one person — Anielka, who I believe is new — who has been consistently rude when assigning tables. This is the third time she behaves in a very unprofessional manner. I hope this review reaches the appropriate management so she can receive the proper customer service training. This is an excellent place, and I would love to continue recommending it, but situations like this make it difficult. ⸻
Love the food but this is about the price increase and removing my favorite dish 3 mexican tacos for $20 bucks. Which use to be $15 and now would cost $27 if I tried to duplicate the dish. The food is good but the owners will eventually lose customers with the radical price increases. Everywhere has raised prices but not at this rate.
Alfonzo is extremely rude and unprofessional. I called to make a pick up order and he was rude and unprofessional. When I got to the location I addressed it to him directly and he was extremely rude and supposedly apologized while still being rude snd sarcastic. Owner needs to find new management. He definitely doesnt belong there. Been coming here for over 12 years and never had such rude service. Especially from a manager.
Prices have been punched out of menu so patrons don't have an idea of the cost. They do not print a receipt for you to review because they bring the card scanner with your total only on the screen to to pay. Also, they charge extra if you don't use cash - about 15 to 18% extra. We told our waiter we'd pay cash 3x, he brings out the card swiper with a total of 132. We ask for the receipt as we are splitting the bill then he says "oh your total is $112 since you are paying with cash." Beware of price gauging.
I used to eat here and the food was very high quality and absolutely delicious. I came to eat here today with my family and I am So disappointed with the quality of the food. The beans were cold the green salsas was so watered down and the soup was the MOST disgusting soup that I have ever tried. The server could not keep up with her tables and I was very annoying that she never checked up on us!! When I was first seated it took over 10 minutes to have someone even ask for my drinks and to take my order. That’s after I had to ask someone directly to come take my order. They also added some crazy extra large vegetables and overflow plates with beans.
