Servizio servizio rapido, efficiente, cordiale. Siamo entrati per mangiare qualcosa di leggero la sera dopo un pranzo pesante. Cinsiamo trovati bene con la zuppa di lenticchie ed il vitello tonnato. Buon ambiente e buoni consigli. Grazie la prossima volta proveremo più piatti

Se sei un turista non te lo devi perdere.. in estate ceni sotto un pergolato verde stupendo .. in inverno ceni in un ambiente rustico e confortevole. I piatti della tradizione piemontese si accompagnano ad una vasta e selezionata scelta di vini ... lo consiglio

Cibo ottimo come pure il servizio. Locale molto bello curato , in estate stupendo mangiare fuori sulla piazzetta o sotto al portico.l'interno affascinante.

We enjoyed our dinner in this lovely, traditional, osteria. We don't speak any Italian, and the waiter didn't speak either of the languages we can manage but between he was very patient. The food is simple but delicious and not expensive; and the restaurant itself is charming with lots of character and atmosphere.

We came in a bit early (18:20), so we were told that we could get a table and a drink, but kitchen opens from 19:00. No problemo, so we sat down and drunk a very nice local white wine and already became some very tasty finger food as an appetizer. After that we had very good meat/steak and a dish with octopus, sardines and salmon! Also the creme brulee and the Panna Cotta were delicious! Staff friendly. For sure a good place to go!

Life doesn’t get much better than a bottle of wine and a selection of local cheeses! A must visit ! Bread and salami on arrival. A busy buzzy kind of place

Luogo eccezionale! Tavoli sotto un porticato con illuminazione adeguata (né troppo forte, né troppo lieve). Personale gentile ma, al momento di ulteriori informazioni, manca di conoscenza dei prodotti locali (perfino gli addetti in cucina non sapevano che formaggi fossero stati serviti). Detto ciò, le nostre conchiglie con ragù di pesce hanno soddisfatto altamente il nostro palato :)

Cibo buono, soprattutto il risotto al barolo. Piccola nota: perché un cameriere propone dei piatti mentre l'altra ne propone altri?

Ambiente accogliente, tradizionale da vecchia osteria... molto bello. Pietanze 50% ho provato un antipasto ed era eccezionale ma la parmigiana di melanzane purtroppo insufficiente. Servizio cortese e veloce. Insomma, un buon locale con qualche neo.

Il locale si trova nel centro di Intra. All'esterno è presente un enorme pergolate adatto per le sere estive. All'interno il locale è rustico ma non molto spazioso. Il servizio è gentile e veloce. I piatti sono abbondanti. Solo il vitello tonnato non mi ha convinto. Simpatica la lista dei vini. Prezzo nella media

Food is good, though Tiramisu not quite original in a glass (I have never seen that in Italy before). One staff member spoke only Italian, but another stepped in OK. Only outside tables available which was a little cold and polluted by smokers. Google information wrong (which is often the case) they open at 19:00 not as informed by google 18:00.

Posto piccolo, tavoli molto vicini, con piccolo passaggio ,piatti spaghetti al pomodoro e basilico(€14) pasta al dente e di qualità, sugo no,x il prezzo il pomodoro dev'essere fresco fatto al momento, vitello tonnato molto buono ,abbiamo chiesto un arrosto con patate, è arrivato un brasato non si sa il perché ,panna cotta ok. We’ve dined at Osteria del Castello twice, and the contrast between visits was staggering. On our first visit, though seating was tight, a gracious staff member made space for us and we enjoyed the evening enough to purchase a €25 bottle of wine from their bottiglieria to take home. That goodwill is what brought us back. This time, however, the experience was completely different—even though the restaurant was far from full. We arrived slightly early, were told to return later, and when we came back as instructed, we were nearly refused seating again despite plenty of empty tables. Once seated, the disparities were hard to ignore: every other table received bread, but ours never did. I ordered my steak medium-rare; it arrived overcooked. My husband’s steak, ordered medium, was cooked exactly right. My vegetables came separately and awkwardly before the main course. They were cold by the time my entrecote arrived. With the restaurant not even busy, these weren’t the signs of an overwhelmed team—they reflected inattentive and uneven service that left us feeling like afterthoughts rather than returning guests who had previously supported their business. It was difficult not to feel snubbed. The setting is nice enough, but hospitality is more than scenery. I suspect these recent reviews are bots. Head to tripadvisor to see the swath of bad reviews that align with our own experience : average food in a pretty venue with OK service by an army of surly staff. Never felt so unwanted. Tbf: the young lad waiter did smile. But all the others clearly wished we'd just die. Leave, then die. Pay, leave, then die. Ps: toilet is a pristine hole in the ground.

Traditional italian osteria, the food is very good (minestrone, goat cheese with raisins and tagliata piemontese con rucola), but the service is horror! Nobody is smiling, they don’t even speak to you, english is forbidden and they are just waiting for you to leave faster. It seems that they have an issue with tourists, their behaviour is spotless with locals. I stopped even taking pictures of the food since our mood was ruined.
