Abbiamo soggiornato in uno dei nuovi mini appartamenti, ristrutturati da poco. Tutti gli ambienti erano pulitissimi e curati. La colazione è stata uno dei punti forti del soggiorno, sia per i prodotti che per l'attenzione e la disponibilità di Elisa, la titolare. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare!

La recensione è riferita al ristorante. Pranzo della domenica in una bella giornata di febbraio, locale molto bello con vetrata con vista sulle montagne innevate. Menu piccolo ma molto interessante. Siamo in 4 e assaggiamo vari antipasti : uovo con tartufo, gallina grisa in saor, 2 battute di fassona della lessinia (eccellenti). Tagliolini al ragu bianco di bovino locale, zuppa di .cipolla, gnocchi di malga e spaghetti ai pomodori. Tutto davvero ottimo, così come i vini presi (1 bottiglia di durello e un Cabernet Merlot Haderburg Erah), prezzi non alti e porzioni giuste. Servizio ottimo, chef molto simpatico. Posto consigliatissimo

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel and restaurant in the heart of Lessinia. An authentic, well-maintained place immersed in beautiful nature, it's the perfect place to unwind and relax completely. The apartments are welcoming, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with a warm atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. The silence and the view make for a perfect rest. The restaurant is truly excellent: traditional cuisine of the highest quality, dishes prepared with local ingredients and great attention to traditional flavors. Every course was a pleasant surprise, from appetizer to dessert. The breakfasts were plentiful and authentic, with fresh, carefully prepared ingredients. Special thanks go to the staff: kind, helpful, and always smiling, and of course to the owners, Giovanni and Elisa, whose passion and love for their work are evident—an added value that truly makes all the difference. An experience we recommend without hesitation and will definitely repeat. A corner of Lessinia that will remain in our hearts.

We come here when we need to breathe fresh air and eat delicious food. Elisa and Giovanni always welcome us warmly. The suite-apartment rooms are perfect, furnished for a couple or a family. The wood paneling and decorative pieces, such as chandeliers and wooden coat hangers, lend a warm tone to the rooms. The view from the windows is magnificent, small yet familiar, overlooking the main square of Velo, then sweeping across the Lessinia mountains and the snow-capped peaks of Mount Baldo on the other side. The breakfasts, featuring local and organic products, are breathtaking. In the evening, you can dine on refined dishes in the restaurant, which is also a treasure trove of art and craftsmanship. The surroundings are magnificent. Mountain lovers can enjoy numerous hikes both summer and winter, allowing them to appreciate a region rich in history and tradition.

I stayed on October 4-5 at the Albergo Ristorante 13 Comuni in Velo Veronese. The warm welcome from Elisa and her staff was excellent: I felt like I was walking into a friend's house, not a hotel! I wasn't expecting such a room/suite: full of attention and love for every detail, with a subtle yet captivating scent infused with the wood furnishings. The generous yet intimate spaces, including the splendid bathroom, felt truly spacious. The family story continues through the grandmothers' names assigned to each room. I won't reveal the rest of this property because it's something for those interested to discover during their stay. Breakfast is so delicious: exquisite flavors born from research and collaboration with the surrounding area, all geared toward truly organic food! I was fortunate enough to savor Chef Giovanni's cuisine: a feast for the eyes, the palate, and the passion that flows through every dish. Kudos to the entire staff, made up of smiling, professional, always kind, and even more patient young people. This structure, 13 municipalities, this town, Velo Veronese, and this region, Lessinia, were unknown to me, but they were a wonderful surprise. I don't want to repeat clichés, but I feel I will return with great, great joy! Dear Giovanni and Elisa, I embrace you with gratitude, and in this I also welcome all your staff.

I stayed for two days with a group of cycling friends. The owners' hospitality was superb. Giovanni, the owner, provided us with a secure space to leave our bikes overnight (25 of them). He also offered to accompany us for a full day on a hike in the Lessini Mountains (which resulted in some reprimands from his wife, given that he is also the hotel's chef). The entire staff is extremely friendly. The rooms, which are mini-apartments and were renovated a few years ago, are very nice and spotlessly clean. They also have a well-equipped kitchen. The electrical system is excellent, with plenty of outlets and good lighting (which is often lacking in many hotels). Both dinners were excellent in terms of both food quality and presentation. Finally, to show off Giovanni's kindness, a friend of ours who had been injured, accompanied her to San Martino Buonalbergo, even carrying her bike.

We didn't sleep there (it was fully booked for the night we needed), but we had coffee at the bar in the evening and (the next morning) more coffees...we were also hoping to meet Gloria again in the morning, at least we think that's what she's called...a waitress with curly hair, at the counter, extremely kind to say the least, with a radiant smile, which was crucial. We also asked her for information and she was super professional. Then Giovanni, the chef and owner, arrived, again kind and smiling! Personally, this is enough for us to give it top marks. We came over from one of the winery hotels in the region. You should park outside of the small town. There are 2 big parking lots at the ends. The place is hidden in a corner of the main piazza. We were welcomed very nicely. The people there speak very good English and even some German. The menu is short and very interesting. The wine list has a good selection of local Valpolicella wines from rather low prices to high end. So everyone will find something. We had 3 courses and a very good Ripossa for just over 100€ for 2 persons. Our host even handed us a nicely printed magazine with information about the Lessinian mountain range and provided ideas for trips. Absolutely a place to visit. But make sure to reserve upfront. The place is quite busy with locals.

I can't understand some of the negative reviews here. In my opinion this is one of the most fairly priced restaurants around and also the quality is top notch. Service is also kind and attentive! Especially the chefs wife is very nice and tries to make your stay something to remember... If you want to try regional food with a certain kick, go there!

Storico locale in pieno centro di Velo Veronese, citato sulla guida Michelin. Si ha la possibilità di pranzare/cenare sia su una veranda panoramica, che sulla piazzetta. Non c’è molto da infiocchettare la recensione, quando si mangia e si beve bene. Piatti – sia della tradizione che con qualche tocco innovativo – molto ben preparati. Ottimi i salumi ed i formaggi (tutti della zona). Ottima anche la carta dei vini. Prezzi medio-alti.

Mi reco apposta solo per mangiare nonostante la distanza da dove abito. Si mangia benissimo ad un prezzo che non si vede quasi più in ristoranti anche meno validi. Complimenti !

This restaurant in Velo's small square is strategically located and very beautiful. The atmosphere is refined and the service excellent. The only drawback is that the prices are a bit high for the quality of the dishes; the meat and desserts are excellent.

Prices are too high for an average family. A cover charge of €4 is even included. For example, a platter for two costs €22, with three slices of salami, four slices of speck, four slices of pancetta, and a smattering of cooked ham. On top of that, the service is incredibly slow. A real blow that discourages families from reviving tourism in the Veronese mountains, which are now only accessible to wealthy seniors.
