Bombays is a great place to go. I recently celebrated a milestone birthday there. Bombays accommodated me in every way possible and my guest enjoyed themselves. There was live music, excellent food and they even provided a Connect 4 to entertain the children. I highly recommend it!

It’s been a while since visiting, but you need to try their hamburger with an egg on top. Such an unusual combination and surprisingly, one of the best burgers around. Don’t know what they call it, but I reference as the Heart Attack Burger since it’s the Bomb-bay of burgers. Also, interesting drink concoctions that will carry you through the evening, during the live music shows.

I was getting married and I wanted a night for a few of my closest girlfriends to get together. I had been to Bombay Bar & Grill before and I knew it had a great vibe. We had a wonderful time. The band was a nice added touch to our evening. The servers were very attentive and our drinks were good. I had the Sunlight mocktail and the girls enjoyed a variety of cocktails. The Beach Breakfast burger is my favorite and the others enjoyed the salads and other burgers. The photo booth was fun for us. Getting 5 of us in was a challenge, but we did it. Thanks again to the owner and staff of Bombay Bar & Grill for making our night a memorable one. We loved the Champaign too!

You can't beat the great eats, booze, and fun of Bombay Bar & Grill. People might call it Bombays, but there's only one and it isn't owned by someone named Bombay so that isn't really appropriate, but it is what it is and if you want to be understood, you might have to call it Bombays too. Not Bombays 2. That'd be like the Mama chain that's also downtown. You know Rice. Rice by Mama. Rice by Mama 2. Seaglass by Mama. Heck, I bet there'll be a Bombay by Mama soon. What will people from Oxnard call it? Bombays by Mamas?

The best Sunday funday in all of Ventura County!! Diego (one of the owners) is one of the most down to earth/amazing persons I've ever come across! It doesn't hurt that the bartenders/waitresses are all cuties!

I love coming here for happy hour and brunch on the weekends (especially when the music is at a reasonable volume). The prices are fantastic, the food is awesome, and the service is great.

I have had a lot of years with bombays,i had in the past a issue with one bartender in the past but found out that they are no longer there,i had given a low review do to that person not the place its self,would like to come there again, hopefully they will let in,i was rejected before do to my not giving a great review do to that past bartender... i have always had a pretty good time at Bombays.

I tried their food for the first time and it was freshly made and very good. I love their drinks and the owner's are great people.

I love the gourmet District who cooks there in the kitchen now. I'd recommend calling in because sometimes they dont work on weekends. But overall cool environment. I normally go to have dinner at 8 pm there before the crowd gets there you can at least get a good table and have a drink if youd like. The music starts at around 8:30/9pm. Starts to pick up at around 10 pm. Would recommend for younger crowd.

Had a great time tonight. I've been here before but it was many years ago. This was the first time Michelle was our waitress. Even though it was a jam packed night, she took great care of us and made sure we all had a great time. Thank you for working hard. We will be back because of you.

This is a cool place to go on Friday nights because they have two for one drinks on this particular night. Furthermore, this place generally attracts a lot of people especially at around 11:30pm when it seems to really get packed. However, this place is also known for having lots of fights so be careful and try not to come alone; be sure to use the buddy system.

Security is very good at making sure everyone feels safe and welcomed, Bartenders made great drinks and were very friendly !! We were greeted by “thomas” a very professional and helpful security guard, was very well mannered and made it a point to make sure we were ok 👌made our experience there better than it already was ..… definitely will be visiting again!!

Great food, good beer selections. Came in the late afternoon / early evening on a Friday and it was pretty quiet and service was fast. Seems like it might get busy later in the evening. There is actually a small parking lot too which is convenient.

Loved it! Went there for Sunday fun day to check out the band at 5pm. The food was great, the drinks were fantastic, people incredibly friendly, and servers were on point! Definitely going more often!

Checked it out on a Sat night with some friends. They had a good DJ playing and it was very lively. The bar tenders did a great job and the atmosphere was perfect. A bonus is the large outdoor patio.

Fridays is the night. 2 for 1 on beer ($7) on mixed drinks ($9). Get there before 11 because the line gets crazy. Atleast 3 different dance floors/sections.

Didn't eat here but danced my butt off and had a lot of fun. I liked how they had 3 different areas and the outside was much needed because it can get pretty hot.

I went past here on a Saturday night, they had great music playing. Definitely a night club type vibe from what I could tell. Looked really fun!!!

Nightclub vibe with great music. There is a back room available where they change up the beats. On busy nights it can take a minute to get a drink.

Caught three punk bands, ate some pretty good fries, and my date spoke well of the margarita.

Have tried many good East Indian/Nepalese eatery establishments in the Denver metro area. This one is outstanding. It has a Pakistani influence. The owners have been in Colorado for nearly 20 years. My wife had lamb tikka masala and I had bhindi masala. Both terrific examples to try when you order there. We also split a salad with the house yogurt dressing. The decor in the restaurant is very upscale and tasteful, with lots of design thought. On the northeast corner of Iliff and Peoria nestled between other establishments, an international market and a French bakery. Will return often!

Nice bar with lots of live local music. I love that they allow groups (like the local artist collective, etc) to come in and perform. They have a solid line up of decent burgers and even have a buy one get one free burger night! Their beer selection is steadily getting better however I've noticed that the lines aren't being cleaned properly lately so I stick to the bottles... if they'd work hard at getting the beer situation right this would be one of my favorite spots!

Solution was excellent. This is clutch location for downtown. They have all the Indian tastes and spices, I truly enjoy their Spicy Veggie Byrani too.Parking on that particular street is constantly offered due to the fact that we go in the evening.Our web server was a short black hair gentlemen, he takes excellent care our lots of accommodations!We'll be back!

Went on a slow night.. moscow mules were good, wine selection not so much. I am interested in coming back on a busier night to check it out.

The prices were kind of expensive but it tasted good. We went for Halloween to a show that was supposed to start at 9 pm but the band didn't play until 10:30 pm.

Drinks are pricey but strong Some of the DJ’s really can’t keep a good playlist going but it’s cool that they have different music in different rooms.

We were there in a Thusday night and it was totally dead. The drinks were cheap and the Country music was loud. I'm sure the place is totally different on a Saturday or Friday night.

Went here with 2 girls i had met outside briefly and we all ordered drinks. When they brought the bill they put all of them together, BEFORE handing my card i asked to only pay for my drink please, they handed me a new bill for 10$ reasonably, i then gave my card and paid and went on with my night. I found out the next day i was charged for all 4 other drinks from them and 2 other girls that ordered at the same time. This is the most shady and scummy type of reverse misogyny ive ever seen. I work at 31 flavors and have medical bills to pay and cant afford this. Update: the manager was really kind and offered me compensation for the charges.

Came here in 2017 and it was great. Sunday afternoons with DJs playing music outside. Friendly staff and patrons. But I then come 2023 and it feels just like any other meh place in LA. I went during the day, no outdoor DJ anymore. Went at night, bouncers are worse than TSA agents. Killed the mood was there a record 3 minutes then left. It got way to crowded and wild. I had a better time at Finneys

I use to go and have beers, Eat and watch football long ago and hanged around till the night life started, even saw the light in my then girlfriend and now wife's Eyes, old school bartenders with ties and everything. Wife and I recently met up with friends and found it changed so much. Music was way too loud and had to yell to talk and seams the crowd were tini bopper type. Bartender girls had no personality Or am I'm just getting Older??? Anyway I call it as I see it. Fun if your younger.

Bombay is a bar with a whole lot of character. First off, it is a decent size bar, with both inside and outside areas. However, the inside gets very hot and stuffy, and the outside has no designated smoking only areas, so no matter where you are, it can be hard to get any fresh air. The music was good, and there were actually 3 DJs (or areas with different music) playing at the same time. The drinks were ok, average price (about $8 a drink), but very weak (they measure every drink). It's definitely a little ratchet, lively, and crowded. I would compare the vibe of this bar to Rookies in down-town Ventura. This place is fun, but it would be nice if it were cleaner, and have better ventilation inside.

Music was good. There are 3 sections that play different music to accommodate. I suggest pre gaming though, the drinks are basically juice. Even Long Islands and AMFs are weak. They use "Long Island Mix" which is about 15% alcohol and its $12 for that. And the blonde bartender in the modern hip hop side was a b*tch. Witnessed her snatching credit cards and being rude to people. I sat in front of her for about 10 minutes before she even acknowledged me and she asked everyone around me for their order even though I had been there before them. I hadnt even had one drink yet so my memory was very clear. I went on a Friday, the bar was packed and a lot of fun.

I went here to get a beer while I was waiting for my table at Finney’s. A draft Michelob ultra was eight dollars. This place is dark and grungy. Nothing else to say.

I want to like this place but I consistently get really poor service from the bar tenders. I'll sit down at the bar and the tender will look at me and then just walk off. Worst service of any bar downtown. Not going back, can't recommend it.

I hadn't been there in years. I should have stayed home. The back room was curtained off and empty. Only the the front of the bar was open. Crappy country music live band. Boring.

Security lied and said they weren't letting anybody else in the club. Then turned around and let the 7 people in line behind us go in. Then shrugged his shoulders and said oh well. As many times as I've been here that just made me not want to go back to this place ever. It's so disrespectful.

Security filmed our friend. We asked him to delete the video from “recently deleted” but he refused: manager said it happened in public but he represents bombays. The initial security and the other workers continued to be antagonistic.

Terrible, I don't hate. Google choose those words. Nothing special about the food. Very small portions and the waitress was not the least bit surprised when I told her the beer tasted like some did their laundry in it. The band was putting me to sleep. No energy at all. Won't be going back.

I wasn’t let in because of my expired DL and apparently I didn’t look 21 when I’m 30. Luckily, Star Lounge down the street let me in without a problem and it was a good thing since they have a nicer environment.

Attended this bar to celebrate graduations with my partner and best friend this past Friday and ended up being discriminated against by a racist bar tender. Never have I been so humiliated as I was by this man. My partner and I approached the bar on his side because there were open chairs and his end did not seem as busy as the other. He served several others that approached the bar after me and I begun to think maybe I was not being assertive enough. So I made attempts to to speak to him and waive him down. He then proceeded to help individuals on the other end of the bar after making eye contact with me. I begun to feel like he just did not want to service me. He finally came in front of me and I thought here is my chance for a drink. I was wrong, he ignored me and my partner and took an order from a person standing behind me. At this time I told my boyfriend I no longer wanted a drink and would rather go home or else where. My boyfriend then waived him down at which time the bar tender approached us and said “what do you want?” My boyfriend asked for a Belvedere cranberry and a beer. The bar tender took off and I thought.. ok finally were getting somewhere. Wrong again, the bartender proceeded to serve 3 others before finally preparing our order. I saw him pour well vodka into my “Belvedere cranberry”, when he approached us with our drink I told him I thought there was a mix up because we asked for Belvedere cranberry not a well drink. He shook his head and said “no you asked for vodka cranberry, why would your order Belvedere? ...here’s your drink.” I shook my head no and reiterated that I don’t drink house vodka because it causes me headaches. He shook his head no, said something under his breath and walked away. I was left confused and thought maybe he processed our request incorrectly but did not understand why he did not just correct it.. as any other bartender would at any decent bar. My boyfriend waived him down again and told him he did not appreciate the way he was speaking to me and would like the drink changed to a Belvedere cranberry as we ordered. This bartender shook his head no again and yelled “you two get out!” blew a whistle and flashed lights in our faces. At this point I was beyond confused on what was going and why we were being treated this way.. my boyfriend looked at me at said “he just reminded me that I am a black man and can’t or shouldn’t speak up for myself or my girl.. let’s just leave.” I don’t know what is worst the awful service, the way I was dismissed and discriminated against or the fact that this man is employed at this restaurant as has probably discriminated against others and will continue to do so to many after us. I will not be returning here ever again.

To the Bombay security, they are disrespectful because they are charging my friend and me because i have nothing to do with the problem. 30 times i was asking for the main manager that something that happened in the past but they are accusing at me and pointing a finger at me that's hostile and he' s charging at me that i had nothing to do with the wrong profile information. I wanted a footage of the crime from last month and today's crime. I tried to scream to talk out loud right there by the entrance of the door because the music is too loud and cannot hear what the security says and i had to do an off duty job. I want a full license/security card. I don't talk to fake security guards because they are harassing me. I want to report to the BISI for the security at Bombay's.

recently assaulted by the establishments bouncers held down on the ground and had my head slammed into the sidewalk. this is not how you get customers and is definitely not how you treat anyone period. At no point did i take a swing at nor try to fight also when I had told them to call the cops if there was a problem, they refused and finally released me.

This place Can be poppin if they had better music they play the same old songs all the time on repeat I know they notice they put one good song and then that’s it everyone back to hold the wall up if we are having fun we would buy more drinks and tell our friends to take shots but no we always want to leave early

I've been coming here for years and the last 3 times I have attempted to go in, I have been turned away. The bouncer who pays you down and checks ID ( slightly shaved head, brown hair, a tall thin (normal guy), but he is such a jerk! I can see why the dance floor is now always empty.

U can buy the same drink from two different bartenders and get two different prices. Got a beer for $8 then my next (same drink) was $11.50?! So they tip themselves on ur own dime?!

Don't waste your time coming here! I've come here twice 1st time security and bartenders were so rude we felt so unwelcomed drinks were over priced and watered down. Second time we didn't even get in because my bf has the year his daughter was born tattooed on his hand. They were ridiculousy rude! We went down the street to Star Lounge and had a great time. I will never return to this establishment.

Really beyond terrible, the bar tender was cruel and she really ruined our night. When I was out on the patio, a drunk girl was begging a bouncer to let her find her friends inside before they kicked her out. They forced her to the sidewalk and left her there, I went to go wait with her and eventually found her friends since she was completely incapacitated. I don’t know what would have happened if I wasn’t there. Drinks are insanely expensive and staff were so unfriendly. Had a bartender call a bouncer on me for supposedly not paying for a round of shots when I was holding a credit card and asking her how much it was. Called over the bouncer and gestures to us making us feel so uncomfortable. Such a terrible night.

Owner and his bouncers used physical force on me because they thought they thought I was with someone which I didn't even know, putting 5 guys on me yeah your bouncers are tough, tackling everyone chocking them punching and kicking them while other bouncers are holding them down, real men they are... didn't even hurt not one bit, you should teach your bouncers to punch harder they hit me 8 times in my face not even one bruise. What a joke this place is. Mediocre food, and drinks. Manager and owner are rude. Stay far away from this place.

We we thought that we were going to experience a really good time at Bombay Bar and Grill. We were very disappointed on the way we were treated after spending a large amount of. Especially by the owner behind the bar that evening asked his security guards to escort us out of the bar because I whistled on the Dance Floor. So whenever you walk in give it a big whistle.

The food was great but the service was less than stellar. I tip based on the drinks and was not pleased when I had to ask four times for water. Never got that water. Even though the waitress just got the job, the establishment could have done better to not set her to fail while serving a large party. Sit at the bar.

Trashy, dangerous “establishment” — Waited in line for 40 minutes just to be denied entry because of a hat. Really a pathetic club. Way better clubs with better staff in many other places, just a block or two away. Take your money elsewhere, everyone will be better for it. Karma will help Bombay meet its demise through its own nefarious actions. If the pandemic doesn’t shut Bombay down, it will shut itself down with incompetent staff and terrible service.

Terrible drinks all made with overly sugary mixes. Bartender had no idea how to properly make them aswell. Service was extremely slow and I wouldn't have minded if they were busy but they we dead. Not going back.

Feb 12…. My wedding anniversary. Wife loves Blues music. Look online- Bombay’s website shows this is blues nite. So we drive in and the place is closed up tight and looks like a condemned building. WTH?? Can’t recommend

This place took a shit. Garbage music both on the outside and inside. At first the DJ was good playing dance music and we were vibinh then it changed. Everyone is standing around, no one dancing. Im so disappointed. Brought my friend of after several years of not coming out. No good music to dance too. Drinks were good though.... towards the end they started to play good music. We danced for about 20 minutes.

This place took a shit. Garbage music both on the outside and inside. At first the DJ was good playing dance music and we were vibinh then it changed. Everyone is standing around, no one dancing. Im so disappointed. Brought my friend of after several years of not coming out. No good music to dance too. Drinks were good though.... towards the end they started to play good music. We danced for about 20 minutes.

Feb 12…. My wedding anniversary. Wife loves Blues music. Look online- Bombay’s website shows this is blues nite. So we drive in and the place is closed up tight and looks like a condemned building. WTH?? Can’t recommend
