La Penca is a sure thing! Everything is super delicious, their cheese is amazing, and the fries they add are fantastic. The mega pastor is still my favorite. The staff is friendly, and the orders come out quickly. I highly recommend it; it's our old reliable. 😅
I usually eat there. Or just get the arrachera to go; it's delicious. They close late. The service is fast.
The food was very tasty and a good size. I ate a 1/2kg mixed burrito and I almost didn't finish it.
I love coming here to eat tacos al pastor. I live in the United States where the al pastor meat is awful and has neither the flavor nor the texture. Anyway, I recently went to a taqueria al pastor that opened across from Yepas to see if I'm just being overly optimistic or if they're actually good, and honestly, they're not. I gladly pay the extra $50 to eat at La Penca. The quality of the meat and the portions per taco are quite generous, and they've never let me down. I always go around 11 or midnight, and they never give me the cold shoulder for being so late, haha. The guys always treat me super well.
I went around 8:30 on a Wednesday. The place wasn't too crowded, and the service was excellent. We were served right away. The prices were fair, and the food tasted great.

The al pastor tacos are delicious, and their creamy green salsa is fantastic. The only thing I disagree with about this place is that I think the al pastor is more expensive per kilo than at other taquerias, but if you don't mind spending a little more for the flavor, go for it.
It has a climate-controlled area, the servers are friendly, the menu is understandable, and the prices are more than reasonable compared to the taste and quality. A highly recommended spot, but with limited parking.
I really liked it. We had a great time, and everything was delicious. The price was reasonable. The waiter treated us wonderfully, and the portions were good. Personally, my best impression was the charro beans: they were good in size, tasty, and reasonably priced. I will definitely come back!
I have fond memories of living in that area. And the tacos are excellent. I highly recommend them.
Everything was great, delicious, and of good quality, although there have been a couple of occasions where it was a bit burnt, so they should be a little more careful with that.
Very tasty, I really liked how they served the pastor, I only went once but I would go again if I have the chance, the only downside is that they sell drinks that are somewhat expensive.

The place is not very nice physically, it looks quite dirty and the service, at least the day I went, the lady who was there was not very attentive, we had to look for her on several occasions. The tacos are okay but for the price I think I could get to eat at a better taqueria.
Very bad service from the staff, what's the point of this nice place? If the service is terrible, it takes a long time to serve because everyone is chatting outside. And if you ask them for something, they get angry and insult each other. And they still fight and insult each other in front of the customers. Shame on them... They should put someone with authority to take care of their business and put things in order because the same thing has happened to us like 3 times.
Honestly, the service was very slow, and the food wasn't good. The prices were also a bit high. The service was poor. I wouldn't eat there again. The food lacked flavor.

I didn't like it at all. The service was terrible. They took a long time to take my order. They didn't serve me what I ordered and tried to disguise it by adding more cheese 🧀. They had so much cheese that it didn't taste like anything. The Jamaican water, oh my. In the end, they got the bill wrong and were overcharging me. When they first opened, everything was delicious, but now it's not worth it.
