It's a must-stop on my visits to the port of Veracruz; the ham is delicious, the leg is exquisite, and the service is excellent.

These are traditional Veracruz-style tortas. They're made with pork leg, ham (which isn't commercial, it's baked by the owner), chorizo, turkey, and more. They're served with jalapeño strips or homemade chipotles, also made in-house. The portions are huge, with plenty of meat in each torta, and the flavor is delicious. The meat is fresh, made daily, and the bread is soft and also fresh. They also offer fresh water and soft drinks. They offer delivery service and are also available on platforms like Didi Food. They accept cash, credit cards, and bank transfers. These are the best in the port; these are the originals. Highly recommended.

Delicious cakes, top-quality ingredients
Very good flavor, but the prices are a bit high.
The place is very simple and a bit small. But the service is excellent, and the cakes are too. Besides being delicious, they're huge!
I've been eating and ordering from this place since around 2013-2014, and the truth is, the food is high quality and very good. The service is good, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The only thing to keep in mind is that it's gotten expensive. Compared to 2014-2015, when the tortas were $65 or $70 at most, now they're $100 or even $105. That's the only thing to consider: it's getting pricey, but other than that, it's totally worth it. Atmosphere: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 5/5 Price: 2/5
It's great for takeaway, but the place isn't very nice for eating in.
The service is bad. You order by phone, tell them it's right there on Canal y Allende, and that you'll come by. They tell you yes, in 15 minutes, and it's never ready, regardless of whether there are people there or not. It's been like this many times. The tortas are good, but the owner is inattentive, unhelpful, and somewhat rude. I prefer to go to my favorites next to Dubai (half a block away), even if I have to travel further.
The cakes are good, but from what I can see, they don't wash the carrots in the chilies because they come with the black peel and the root :(

The place started off very well, but over time the quality has dropped significantly; it's too commercial, and the taste is no longer the same.
Pure garbage. They serve this place, aside from the smelly meat, the overcooked soft drinks, and the ugly, smelly, cold sandwiches... I won't buy or recommend this place again. Never.
Good sandwiches if you buy them directly at the branch, if you buy them through an app they give you a mini sandwich with very little meat.
Very small, I ordered delivery (three blocks away) and it was freezing cold. The carrots in the chili, as other comments say, look black.
The kitchen area on the Allende side was very unsanitary. I couldn't take any pictures, and the leg of pork tasted like bland, boiled meat. I bought a Cuban sandwich, but I only ate half because the other half had that same musty, boiled-meat smell.
Terrible service. I ordered two tortas through Didi, a Cuban torta and an enchilada torta. They brought me whatever they wanted; the others were awful, made with stale bread that looked like it was a week old, and one even had ants in it. I called to clarify the situation, and they told me I had to file a complaint with Didi, then the person hung up on me. I sent a WhatsApp message, but they never responded. It's a huge disappointment.
