Small but cozy place, great staff, average service, a little slower for the hot dishes. The portions aren't microscopic, and the sushi pieces are nice and large. Despite being so cheap, the fish is good and flavorful. Drinks are also cheaper than usual.

This is my favorite Chinese-Japanese restaurant in Vercelli and the surrounding area. Prices are still reasonable, and the atmosphere is small but welcoming. Lots of choice, and...nothing, I just love it!

Sunday lunch the day before their summer closure. Overall, the overall impression is positive regarding the staff, the location, the quality of the food, and the price. A very sore point, however, is the presentation of their menu: it seems rushed, compiled on a tablet five minutes earlier, incomplete, lacking many images, and lacking a description of the ingredients for each dish, so much so that when "meat" is listed, you never know what meat that dish will contain. I consider this a major flaw, but one that is very easily remedied and fixable.

Very cute little restaurant, very kind and helpful waiters. The food was all very good, with fresh fish! The only small flaw was the lack of tablets at all tables. I highly recommend it.

We popped into Ristorante Tokyo on a whim, guided by the positive rating and affordable price range posted here. We enjoyed the food (the black rice with egg and shrimp was spectacular) and service was friendly. *Note: we’ve edited our initial review to incorporate a response from the restaurant. The restaurant is all-you-can-eat, which we did not realize when we were there. That’s on us and our lack of Italian language skills. Based on the all you can eat model the restaurant most definitely offers good value for money. Our apologies to the restaurant for our misunderstanding.

The place doesn't say much from the outside, but it does give the impression that the food is good and well-prepared. As usual, I opted for the Japanese style, and it didn't disappoint. Worth a try, especially since the all-you-can-eat option is convenient.

Quick ordering and service. Friendly staff. Some of the food isn't top-notch, like some sushi. However, the prices are truly rock-bottom at lunchtime. I also know that for a few euros more, a more varied menu is available at dinner. Excellent for a reasonably priced lunch break. There's no à la carte menu available.

The restaurant is centrally located, with parking on the side streets and free lunchtime parking until 3 p.m., making it convenient unless you want to stroll, which is especially pleasant after lunch. The restaurant is on one level, with an open kitchen decorated in traditional colors. The menu is €11, minus drinks. The dishes are quick, colorful, and offer a few new options outside the menu that you can choose from with the set menu. The food is quite good and well-kept. The restaurant is clean, even the restrooms are a plus. The only downside is leaving smelling of the traditional cuisine. However, if you're downtown, a quick stop is fine.

Parto dal presupposto che una corretta valutazione sarebbe di tre stelle, mi porta a due il fatto che io sia stato tratto in inganno dalla corrente valutazione aumentando quindi le mie aspettative. Il servizio è molto rapido, e il prezzo è ottimo, però la qualità del cibo non è molto alta. Il sashimi è abbastanza fresco, diversamente si può dire dal salmone dei nigiri, il quale aveva iniziato a formare la crosticina, i ravioli al vapore era davvero difficili da mangiare, il maiale con verdure insapore. Molto buoni i gamberetti grigliati, nonostante sarebbero potuti essere puliti prima, consigliati anche gli spaghetti di soia con verdure e il pollo con verdure. Mangiando alcuni pezzi di sushi ho dubitato però della freschezza ed ero effettivamente preoccupato, il posto inoltre avrebbe bisogno di una finestra sia per questioni di luce che di odore. Nel complesso non so se tornerò, il rapporto qualità prezzo, nonostante il prezzo, non è altissimo.

The restaurant changed hands about a year ago, and the interior has been aesthetically improved. The colors are classic, typical of Asian restaurants. The tables are already set with cutlery and chopsticks. The food is not of a high standard, and there's no effort to enhance the flavors of the food. The price, excluding drinks, is €20 with an all-you-can-eat option. Very little waiting time between courses. Friendly staff, and a complimentary liqueur at the end of the meal.

Se potessi darei 0 stelle. Ci siamo sedute alle 8 di sera e abbiamo ordinato, dopo un'ora e mezza era arrivata solo la metà dei piatti e gliel'ho fatto presente,mi hanno detto che gli ordini sono partiti tutti eppure al nostro tavolo non sono mai arrivati. Mi hanno fatto ordinare una seconda volta e il tempo di portarmeli erano già le 21.40, ma con il coprifuoco vicino 20 minuti dopo sarebbe stato impossibile finire tutto. Quindi ho chiesto se potessero darmi dei contenitori dove portare via le 3 porzioni restanti, ovvero una quindicina di pezzi di sushi. Mi dicono che non è possibile perché avrei dovuto pagare il prezzo intero, allora gli chiedo se è possibile lasciarli lì, e mi dicono che devo pagarli comunque anche non mangiandoli. Oltre il danno, la beffa. In qualche modo cerco di fargli capire che non sarei mai riuscita a finirli tutti in tempo perché ormai mancavano meno di 10 minuti alle 22, e allora mi hanno permesso di lasciare il cibo lì. Piuttosto che darmeli in modo tale che potessi mangiare gli avanzi a casa, hanno preferito buttarli via... Uno spreco di cibo vergognoso. Mai trovata così male in un ristorante di sushi, servizio pessimo e capacità comunicative terribili (non riuscivano a capire quello che dicessi in italiano anche spiegando in parole semplici) Il cibo non l'ho trovato un granché, il salmone non è di buona qualità, le uniche cose che ho trovato buone sono state alcuni piatti con particolari salse e quelli con le mandorle sopra. Non mi vedrete mai più. AGGIORNAMENTO PER LA RISPOSTA DEL PROPRIETARIO: Peccato che le cose non siano andate come avete scritto voi in risposta, dato che NON abbiamo ricevuto in "tempi brevi" i nostri ordini, e NON abbiamo ricevuto tutti gli ordini effettuati, cosa più grave in assoluto. Seconda cosa, NON deve essere problema vostro di quanto tempo restano a chiacchierare i clienti al tavolo. Quando ho ordinato per la seconda volta la parte che restava, non erano le 21 come voi avete scritto, ma erano già quasi le 21.30 e il tempo di servire i piatti mancava pochissimo a chiusura. Contenta di lasciarvi questa recensione anche vedendo che la vostra risposta in merito non corrisponde alla realtà dei fatti. Detto ciò, vi auguro che questa occasione sia un modo per voi per migliorare il servizio e fare in modo che ad altri clienti non capiti lo stesso problema.

There are definitely better places; of all the sushi I've been to, this is the worst. The food is soaked in oil and you can't really enjoy the dish itself. The dishes we received weren't even "well-made," or at least I've seen them presented more beautifully. The staff was either neutral or rude; at one point, a woman came over and put our food on the table and said in Chinese-Italian, "This guy has to finish everything when he gets to the table," "No, you can't leave anything." Furthermore, the dishes they brought us were barely presented. Honestly, I didn't find it as welcoming as I read in the reviews, and that's a shame. I went on a Wednesday for lunch, and it was more than a shame not to see the reviews confirm their claims. Not even a fortune cookie, by the way :(
