Ho avuto il piacere di mangiare per la prima volta in questo locale sabato sera scoperto quasi per caso.. Bhé che dire, antipasti buonissimi, un primo e una pizza davvero ottimi e soprattutto porzioni molto abbondanti che mi sembrava di essere tornato da me al Sud.. Non sono riuscito a finire tutto il mio piatto di pasta e la cameriera gentilissima subito si è offerta di fare in modo di farmelo portare a casa, e ho apprezzato davvero tanto poiché la pasta che ho ordinato era davvero squisita.. Abbiamo mangiato davvero tanto e benissimo, il personale molto gentile e disponibilissimo.. Siamo stati davvero molto bene e abbiamo passato una serata piacevolissima.. Excellent choice of pizza, extremely kind staff even with children
We're from Milan and just passing through, but this restaurant-pizzeria convinced us to return two nights in a row: one for the restaurant and one for the pizza. Quality products, truly excellent dishes and pizza, with excellent value for both the restaurant and the pizzeria. The staff were incredibly friendly and the owner was top-notch. If we return to the area, it will be a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Al Piano Restaurant and Pizzeria – Pedemonte di Berbenno (Sondrio) As a native of Valtellina, I can say it with conviction: here you can eat perhaps the only truly good pizza in the entire Valtellina. Light dough, excellent ingredients, perfectly cooked. It's become a regular stop, practically our second home: we come here several times a week and always bring friends and guests. The kitchen is the domain of Signora Nicla, who prepares authentic, textbook pizzoccheri, among the best in the middle Valtellina: flavorful, balanced, with real, quality ingredients. And then there are the "off-the-menu" dishes, like Sergio's polenta taragna, still made the old-fashioned way: a true delight (reservation is required, as they don't always make it). The restaurant is familiar, welcoming, and lovingly maintained: Nicla and Sergio Gusmerini are wonderful people, as is the entire team—friendly, fast, and always impeccable in their service. You can tell they work with passion. The products are all top-quality: cheeses, cured meats, fresh ingredients... and even the wine list is a surprise. Sergio always chooses unique reds, never boring, that are truly worth trying. A genuine place, where you eat well, feel welcomed, and always want to return. Highly recommended.
We often come to this place when we're in Valtellina. The pizza is excellent, and the food is equally delicious. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional, and the value is excellent. Cured meats and cheeses are hard to find elsewhere, and pizzoccheri are filled with the flavors of rarely used cheeses, along with authentic mountain butter. Not to mention Sergio's polenta taragna, which takes you back decades to a time when everything was more real and not virtual: the flavors, the aromas, and the passion for cooking at the slow pace that certain dishes require on a wood-fired stove. And that makes all the difference.
The pizza and food are superb, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Truly top-notch. If you're in the area, stop by for dinner!

We stopped by chance, without a reservation on a busy day. They were very kind, setting up a table for five. We had pizzoccheri (the adults) and pizza (the kids). The pizzoccheri were delicious! The local wine was top-notch. We'll definitely be back.
Great place, very kind staff, always smiling, welcoming and pampering the customer. Excellent food. From pizzoccheri to pizza, from tagliolini with venison to desserts. Try it, it's worth it. Fabulous value for money.
Wonderful restaurant with great service.
This was our favorite place in 2 weeks in the region. The woman who is running the place is an angel and her staff are all the same! They are friendly and engaging and always make you smile :) The food is just like the women serving it perfect. The pizza is delicious and thinn but still not too dry. The pastas are as far as I have tried them all delicious. As the antipasti I would recommend the gniocho fritto. They are little fried clouds and also taste like that. They also have amazing wine for a small buck. Just an amazing place to eat dinner especially outside with a view on the surrounding mountains.
So amazing. My friend and I are here on a rock climbing trip and found this place on our first night. We have been back at least five more times. Everything is perfect. The food, the wine, the service, the staff, the owners. We are definitely going to go a few more times before we leave.
A very welcoming place with friendly and helpful staff. I recommend the house antipasto, which is very good. The pizzas are excellent and the spaghetti extraordinary. A first course, especially the spaghetti with anchovies and cherry tomatoes. The only downside is the smell of fried food that lingers on your clothes, but it's worth it.

Personale gentile e disponibile, buona la pizza, particolare quella con la farina di segale.
Menù con vasta scelta, compresi piatti di pesce. Ambiente forse un po' spartano, ma comunque accogliente. Anche se (sabato sera) molto affollato, il personale è stato molto gentile e premuroso. I tempi di attesa sono accettabili. La pizza è veramente molto buona. Eccellente la birra bavarese (König Ludwig) alla spina. Molto consigliato!
Ottima pizza e grande cortesia contraddistinguono questo locale. Da provare la Dracula, una rivisitazione della classica Diavola proposta con anche il gorgonzola: super!

The location is not very big, but well-kept and clean. The menu offers a great variety of pizzas and first courses, which I have not tried and some of which must be booked in advance (pizzoccheri in particular). Good pizza and absolutely worth trying the desserts, strictly homemade and excellent! The staff is courteous and always available, reasonable prices. Reservations recommended on weekends. Must try!
Critica costruttiva: Cucina assolutamente favolosa, è stato un piacere stare da voi. Il tariffario è Giusto. Unico grandissimo dispiacere è l'odore di fritti addosso (problema già sollevato nel 02/2017 su TripAdvisor). Questo è un punto dolente mai risolto di questo locale. Purtroppo è un problema che induce il cliente nella scelta di altri locali. Risolvete questo problema storico e la mia recensione diventerà da 5 stelle e i clienti finalmente potranno godersi appieno ciò che di meraviglioso siete in grado di fare.
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, since the place we were trying to go to was packed. We wanted to have pizza, but the lady offered us polenta taragna with sausage and salami, which wasn't on the menu. The flavor wasn't bad, but the bill...oh my! Two portions of polenta taragna cost €30, the sausage €9, and the salami €13. Absolutely mind-blowing! It's a shame because the food wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't worth the price. If you're looking for a cheap meal, you'd better go elsewhere. If you want to spend a little more, well, that's your choice!
