I took my dad to visit the hermitage of Santa Caterina al Sasso, and for lunch we opted for this excellent family-run trattoria. Dishes prepared to perfection, just like grandma used to make. Highly recommended!!!

We found this place by chance. After visiting the Hermitage of Santa Caterina, attracted by the excellent reviews, we went to this place, and I must say we weren't wrong. Great service and exquisite food. From the starters to the desserts, everything was truly delicious.

We had a great time at this restaurant. The server was attentive to our questions and explained everything to us in French. The restaurant is very well located; we walked there from the hermitage. The price is reasonable and the food is generous. We highly recommend going there to eat the daily menu.

A great find just steps from the hermitage. It's a family-run establishment, the owner is incredibly kind, and the food is delicious in a tavern-like setting that takes you back to the good old days. If I ever come back to the Lombardy shore of Lake Maggiore, I'll definitely be back! Well done!

This is a typical small and cosy Italian restaurant. One woman who serves the plate and one man cooking in the kitchen making the most tasty food. Cheap lunchmenu with a good service and atmosphere. #dogfriendly

You wouldn't expect it (from the outside)...but if you truly want to enjoy traditional Italian food, this is the place to be. Delicious dishes and top-notch wines at exceptionally reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back.

Il Circolo di Reno, piccola frazione di Leggiuno, offre un ambiente caldo ed accogliente con un arredamento proprio dei circoli popolari di un tempo. Il menù propone piatti fortemente legati alla tradione culinaria lacuale della zona, pesce in carpione, lavarello unitamente a polenta e spezzini di cacciagione, brasati, gorgonzola, per chiudere con dolci della casa. Preparazioni semplici ma ben fatte, gustose e soddisfacenti. Il servizio è veloce e i gestori gentili. I prezzi sono onesti.

Ottima cucina piatti raffinati ed abbondanti, servizio ottimo molto gentili e simpatici. Il lago Maggiore a due passi vale la pena andare apposta. Tartare di scottona superlativa 👏👏👏

Abbiamo cenato sabato 28.12 scorso, ambiente casalingo, come ci si aspetta da una trattoria tipica. Abbiamo preso dei primi ed un secondo, cibo buono e gustoso, buono il vino, servizio cordiale. Prezzi in linea con l'offerta. Consigliato.

Homemade great food & dolci :)

Circolino di paese, come quelli di una volta, con arredamento rustico. Prezzi però non da circolino ma da ristorante Gourmet, senza nulla togliere alla bontà dei piatti discreti. Vino bianco Falanghina di dubbia qualità pagato profumatamente, visto alcuni giorni dopo in una nota catena di supermercati della zona in offerta ad un prezzo stracciato.

Unfortunately the reviews didn’t live up to the expectations for me. Ordered 3 dishes, the pasta was ok, the beef stew was in a very thick sauce and was pretty flat in taste and saltiness and the worst was the fish, it was not fresh and was undercooked so the smell was quite fishy. The polenta was a bit stodgy and under seasoned. It was a very traditional restaurant and in a small village, thought it would be good. Unfortunately it was the worst meal I had while I was in Italy and I adore Italian home cooking. I hope it was different for other customers and maybe it was just a one off for us.

A basic restaurant. We had lunch there on Easter monday. First course (pasta) was good. Second course (fish) not so good, very bland. Service very slow, unsmiling and "matter of fact". For me, it was a disappointment because I had been there some years ago and had really liked its "hearty" food and service.

We left Milan today, Sunday, October 26th, to come and eat at this club recommended by friends and seen the photos, but macabre surprise it was closed. What a disappointment because they don't update the information on Google. Time and petrol wasted. Disappointment 👎👎👎
