Salvo Garofalo

Along with Riva, these are the two café/pastry shops on the 2025 list. Manzotti inherited his father's expertise and opened three locations in Treviglio. An expert in leavened pastries and cakes, he also makes savory dishes. The creams are incredibly fresh, and the French-style flaky croissants are excellent. The decor is a bit kitsch, with colorful accents and neon signs. A great breakfast!

A very cute and colorful little place. From outside, you can watch the young pastry chefs at work inside the workshop. The screen, which reproduces their work, is also much appreciated. There's a wide selection of pastries, brioches, and cakes. The only flaw is the service, which is practically nonexistent. The employees prepare trays that diners carry to their tables themselves. This lack of attentiveness, despite their kindness and speed, didn't make me appreciate it. Personally, it's more beautiful than it is delicious, but I'd gladly return for the exceptional coffee service! The latte macchiato is superb! The price is reasonable.

This morning I went to this pastry shop for breakfast. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a counter overflowing with delicacies. Unfortunately, they don't offer table service, so you have to queue to order, pay, and collect your order. Then, tray in hand, you have to hunt for a table and, if you're lucky, you'll finally be able to sit down to enjoy breakfast. Unfortunately, the place is small, chaotic, and noisy, perhaps because it's Saturday. There's a large outdoor area, but it's not ideal in the winter. I intend to return, however, to try the various delicacies I admired.

A small place with no friendly service, but they don't serve tables. Large tables seating four, also available outside. Excellent quality, almost all the brioches are puff pastry. Cakes, ice creams, and macarons are also available. A bit more expensive than the average in Treviglio. Still, it's worth a visit. Two cappuccinos + two Veneziana ice creams €7.00.

Well, what can I say... Extremely expensive brioches, and not even that good. Very buttery and barely filled, almost nothing. They look beautiful in the window but lack substance. The Nutella one costs 2.50, and you can see the Nutella through binoculars. The girls at the counter are kind. I don't know, I wasn't convinced. From a pastry shop, I expect something much better.

Nice, colorful place, but at 3 PM, there's not even a single croissant left. I understand that the hospital and school are nearby, but why not make a few more? There are no prices displayed on the single-serving products. The products are very good. I ordered a panettone, a single-serving product, and a hot chocolate, but the saleswoman with long brown hair tries to sell you everything. She's not the right person.

This morning I had breakfast here expecting something much better, especially since the place is heavily advertised on social media and is often seen. Unfortunately, the reality was different: lots of advertising but little substance, especially regarding the coffee. The coffee was long, poorly balanced, and had an unpleasant flavor, a clear sign that the machine isn't properly calibrated. For a café that focuses so much on its image, it's a disappointment. I won't be returning.

I paid €5 for two Nutella croissants (if they had been large) and even without a receipt. No comment. I found some inconsistencies in the prices, since they aren't displayed and a friend had bought two the day before for a total of €3.40. Perhaps my €5 included a tip for the sales assistant. Thanks, Manzotti, but this is my first and last experience.

This is my second time in this pastry shop. The place is beautiful, colorful, and inviting. The staff isn't the epitome of welcoming or friendly, but it's okay. I ask for toast, but even though it's on the board above the register, it's not available. Never mind! So I ask for a cream brioche. I sit down and start making my breakfast. The cappuccino is delicious, really! The brioche is very, very buttery...but it's a matter of taste. You can really taste the butter. But what strikes me is the complete lack of cream. I had asked for a cream brioche! As you can see from the photo, there's not even a hint of cream. Just a dollop (not even the size of a teaspoon) on top. A huge...huge disappointment!
