Era da diverso tempo che volevo provare questa osteria e devo dire che sono rimasta molto soddisfatta della mia esperienza! Nonostante la popolarità la sede in moscova è più tranquilla ma non per questo meno di qualità. Sono rimasta stupita dall’abbondanza dei primi piatti e e dei dolci, che giustificano il prezzo un po’ più alto rispetto alla media. Mi è piaciuta l’idea della cucina a vista perché ti fa percepire la freschezza e la qualità degli ingredienti usati. Tutto sommato un esperienza più che positiva! Unica pecca il personale l’ho trovato un poco assillante, non lasciava il tempo di fare la scarpetta nei piatti che erano già scomparsi…però per il resto sono stati molto cordiali. Tornerò sicuramente

Piatti romani molto buoni e con porzioni abbondanti (180-200gr solo di pasta), apprezzati come nel mio caso anche dai più piccoli. Prezzi giusti con le aspettative. Ottimo servizio da parte di tutto il personale, gentili e professionali. Consiglio vivamente la prenotazione soprattutto nel weekend se non volete fare la fila fuori.

Il servizio è stato davvero eccellente. Ho apprezzato molto la gentilezza e la professionalità di tutto il personale. L'esperienza è stata piacevole sotto ogni aspetto. Consiglierei vivamente questo posto a chiunque. Tornerò sicuramente con piacere.

Sono stata all’Osteria da Fortunata con due amiche e ci siamo trovate benissimo. La pasta era davvero molto buona, fresca e saporita. Lo staff gentile e accogliente, in particolare Luca, super carino e disponibile. Un’esperienza piacevole, sicuramente da ripetere!

Eccezionale non puoi venire a Milano e non fermarti qui e gustare un piatto di pasta fatto a mano!! Loved the food! I was a bit afraid it might be just an overhyped place, but definitely not. Everything was super tasty and, most importantly, honest. The carbonara was delicious, and the meat with potatoes was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth. Even though we were sitting outside (otherwise we would’ve had to wait for a free table), it was still very comfortable. Be prepared for a long line if you want to eat inside.

The food was fantastic and very fresh! We took the veggie options (gnocci, arrabiata and cacio e peppe) and desserts (tiramisu and cheesecake) to share. Our server Luca was amazing and very helpful in choosing our dishes. Definitely will be back when visiting Milano again :D

Amazing authentic Italian food! The Tagliolino with cheese and pepper was creamy and perfectly balanced, and the Breaded lamb chops were crispy and full of flavor. Great atmosphere and friendly service — definitely worth a visit!

Really enjoyed our dinning experience here. As you walk up to the restaurant there is a window into the kitchen where you can see the pasta being made fresh. There is another window into the kitchen from the downstairs seating area however we were sat upstairs to avoid a wait for a table. This did not subtract from our experience though. The atmosphere was still excellent with an extensive menu on offer. The food was well cooked and we would definitely eat here again.

A wonderful traditional Osteria in the heart of Milan - booking is essential! We went twice and both times there were queues on the street of people waiting for a table. Amazing authentic food and a brilliant atmosphere. The first time the service was impeccable, traditional Italian flair and humour! The second time we visited we were forgotten a few times which as a large group was a bit disappointing, but it was a minor blip in an otherwise wonderful Italian dining experience.

Extremely happy with my experience here. No need to book if your a table of 2 and 3 but would advise to book if even more! The pasta was the best I've had, such great choices and full of flavour. We had the carbonara and the Oxtail Ragu gnocchi. Our servers Jerome, Luca and Veronica were great hosts and helped with any requests. You can even see two kind hearted ladies making the pasta there, interacting with you to make you feel welcome. Come visit, you won't regret.

Really great pasta and lived up to the hype! We were a party of two and arrived around 7:30pm on a Friday and waited roughly 15 minutes in the line. We started with the meatballs and the wild sautéed chicory. The meatballs were great but the sauce was just a bit too fatty for me. I really craved vegetables on this trip and the chicory hit the spot. For the pastas, we got the ricotta ravioli and the angry sciavatelli. Both were amazing and you can really appreciate the texture of the pastas and the intricate flavors of the sauces.

Non consiglio questo locale alle persone con disabilità: ingresso stretto con gradino, due piani collegati da scale strette e tavoli molto vicini. Meglio prenotare chiedendo il piano terra. Siamo stati a fine luglio e la prima delusione è stata l’atteggiamento poco accogliente del ragazzo alla cassa, soprattutto verso clienti anziani. Al piano superiore, clientela quasi tutta turistica, menù altrettanto turistico e pasta fresca in vetrina più scenografica che sostanziale. Servizio gentile ma lento, piatti pesanti e non memorabili. Conto alto rispetto alla qualità. Non credo ci tornerei.

Ristorante che sta godendo di una fama smisurata tra i turisti stranieri - l’ho provato 2 volte e ho davvero provato a farmelo piacere, perché é una bella storia di successo italiana, con già 10 locali aperti. Not worth the wait, waited 30 minutes in line to get a seat, had some appetizers and pasta but the pasta was salty, nothing special. The beef was hard to eat. There are pasta ladies making the noodles from the window which is nice to watch but that is it. zucchini flower was the best thing I ate from my meal.

Passed by the store a few times but there was always a long line out the door at lunch. Returned on a Monday at 3pm and there were no lines so we dined in. Our presence seemed like an annoyance for the servers, slow to pass us a menu and take our order. Ordered a classic arrabbiata to share and wow, it was so so salty! The texture of the pasta was nice (homemade and rolled by the ladies in the window) but there was so much salty sauce we had to scrape some off to enjoy the pasta. Very big portions, under €20 for the dish.

This would have been a 4 / 5 rating but the ‘cheek’ pasta was very salty. The ragu on the other hand was good. Gets very busy from 7.30.

The restaurant is a nice place and the staff were fine. While the food didn’t really stand out in terms of taste the service was decent. We had trippa and deep fried panned lamb. Too much tomato barely cooked in the trippa, with an overpowering tomato sauce flavor. You can only taste a strong tomato sauce. The lamb was too dry and tasted like the oil used for deep frying was old or off, which affected the overall taste.

Disappointing Start and Overpriced Food Our experience at Osteria Da Fortunata didn’t start well. When we arrived, the staff standing by the cashier just waved us in without any greeting — it felt quite rude. Once seated, they explained we had to scan a barcode to see the menu and pictures of the food, which felt impersonal. Unfortunately, I didn’t really enjoy the food overall. The carbonara was way too salty for my taste, though the gnocchi dish was quite good. However, the prices felt too high for what we got. Overall, I expected more from this place given its reputation, but it was a bit disappointing.

Avevamo prenotato in questo ristorante da più di un mese. Al nostro arrivo alle 13:00, l’accoglienza è stata più che fredda: nessun saluto, nessuna cortesia. L’unica frase che ci è stata rivolta è stata: « La prenotazione era per le 12:30, quindi il vostro tavolo è stato dato via, non c’è più posto », detta con un tono chiaramente condiscendente. Pensavamo sinceramente di aver prenotato per le 13:00, l’errore è umano A causa di questo atteggiamento, abbiamo deciso di recarci nel vostro ristorante in zona Brera, dove l’esperienza è stata decisamente migliore Sconsiglio vivamente questo ristorante: l’accoglienza non rispecchia affatto quella di un buon ristorante È certo che non torneremo e non lo consiglieremo nemmeno :) Buona giornata :)))

Oggi abbiamo provato a prenotare un tavolo per 15 persone per la prossima settimana. Eravamo anche disponibili a lasciare una caparra, ma il manager con cui abbiamo parlato è stato estremamente scortese, rigido e per nulla orientato al cliente. Non c’è stato alcun tentativo di trovare una soluzione, solo un atteggiamento freddo e poco professionale. Alla fine abbiamo deciso di rinunciare del tutto alla prenotazione. È davvero un peccato: nel settore della ristorazione l’accoglienza e la disponibilità dovrebbero essere la base. Con un approccio del genere si perdono clienti prima ancora che entrino nel locale.

We visited this restaurant and honestly, it feels like a hyped TikTok place with overpriced food. The service was disappointing. Our waiter was very arrogant and unfriendly. At first, I spoke to him in Italian, but since I’m not fluent, I didn’t understand one sentence and asked him to repeat it in English. He was just warning us that the cacio e pepe pasta would be salty - which is fine - but when I asked him to say it in English, he immediately made an annoyed, condescending face. Not professional at all. Later, when I read the wine name from the menu, he tried to correct me, even though I said it correctly - again with that same arrogant attitude. Very uncomfortable experience. The coperto was €3, and for that price we expected bread, parmesan for the pasta, and maybe olive oil with salt and pepper. But nothing was brought. Of course I could ask, but in a place like this, it should already be on the table. The food itself was tasty. In Italy, it’s hard to ruin pasta, and this was no exception - it was good. The fresh, homemade pasta noodles really complemented the dish and gave it a nice, authentic touch, like something a grandma would make. Overall, I would recommend looking for another place for dinner in Milan. High prices, overhyped atmosphere, and poor service really ruin the experience

Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Overrated Food. My wife chose Osteria Da Fortunata – Moscova based on positive reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was one of the most underwhelming during our time in Milan. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. One of the servers simply pointed at a table without a greeting or smile — no warmth or hospitality whatsoever. We were then instructed to scan the QR code for the English menu, which was fine, but could have been handled with a bit more courtesy. We ordered three mains to share: carbonara, gnocchi in tomato sauce, and ricotta & spinach ravioli. We were told all dishes would come out together. However, only the carbonara and ravioli arrived. When I asked about the missing gnocchi, the head server replied, “We’ll bring it once you’ve eaten those — there’s not enough room on the table.” This response was frankly baffling. It felt like we were being told what we could eat and when, which I’ve never encountered before in any restaurant. As for the food: Ravioli: Disappointingly bland, lacking any real flavour - tasteless. Carbonara: Incredibly salty to the point of being inedible. The bacon on top added to the already overpowered dish and made it taste like a bowl of salt. We barely managed a quarter of it. Gnocchi: Ironically, the last to arrive but by far the best dish. Light, tasty, and well-prepared — a shame it came after the rest. While portion sizes were generous, it’s of little value when the food quality is inconsistent. After the meal, I raised my concerns with the duty manager, particularly about the carbonara. Rather than offering any form of apology or acknowledging our feedback, he gave a defensive explanation about the ingredients used. A simple, “I’m sorry the dish didn’t meet your expectations — this is our traditional recipe” would have sufficed and shown basic customer care. Instead, it felt like the blame was placed on us for not appreciating the food. Overall, I’m honestly surprised this restaurant receives such high reviews. The dismissive service, lack of basic hospitality, and poor handling of customer feedback left a very sour impression. Not recommended. Easily the worst dining experience we had in Milan.
