Greeted by discreet and highly knowledgeable staff, my partner and I spent a delightful evening in an elegant and unique setting, named after the ancient wine press that can be admired in the main room. The ceviche in particular was fabulous, but the seafood, cod, and desserts were also excellent. The wine list is extensive, ranging from local to international. The price was high, but adequate in my opinion.

It was a great experience. A seafood restaurant where you can enjoy a refined yet uninhibited atmosphere, leaving room for the culinary experience and conviviality. Excellent service, with a nice balance between friendliness/lightness and professionalism. Spacious spaces, with elements reminiscent of ancient presses and millstones (very beautiful). The menu is limited but very, very good! The prices are above average, but the quality and service fully justify the value. Don't confuse it with Torchietti, which is the osteria under the same ownership. They are two different experiences. Enjoy your meal!

I was pleasantly surprised by this bistro: excellent service, the waitress who served us was attentive and precise in describing the dishes. The raw marinated sea bass with artichokes was amazing. The fried panissa was good but perhaps a little too greasy. The seafood ravioli with ragù was succulent, not to mention the tiramisu. Price: €84 for two with a bottle of wine. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm. It's worth stopping by if you're in Finalborgo, but make sure to book; it's always fully booked.

The "Ai Torchi" restaurant boasts a simple and elegant interior, rustic yet sophisticated. We chose the five-course tasting menu: from appetizer to dessert, the dishes were so delicious that we couldn't resist dipping them in bread. Wonderful! An elegant take on the local food. Ample menu. We went during lunch, by chance, during a very hot summer day and decided to go for the taste menu. What a wonderful choice did the Chef assemble for us! I enjoyed each dish. The pistachio semifreddo was something supreme!!! My photo is weird looking but I can assure anyone this pistachio ice-cream will be one of the best they will ever have... If not the best. The place is stylish, and while I am not an expert, I think it could be close to getting a Michelin star. We will definitely come back!

We booked a table at Torchi on the recommendation of friends. The dinner lived up to expectations: a five-course tasting menu, each more delicious than the last (the portions were a bit small for my stomach, but just right for the restaurant's category). A sophisticated but not overly so restaurant. We had a great time. Recommended for a romantic dinner.

We had an excellent meal - took the 5 course set menu. No course was over large - but over five courses you want to feel you can enjoy them all. By the end we were full and the desert and petit fours were delicious. Really fabulous food with great service. Will go back

The atmosphere is refined and elegant, the staff friendly. The waitress was a novice and very young, but the service was still good despite her young age. We opted for the tasting menu, and the food was good and high-quality. I'd been there last year and personally enjoyed it, especially the choice of dishes on the tasting menu. It certainly depends on seasonality, but I found the past offerings more appealing and interesting. The price is quite fair, slightly higher due to inflation and price increases, but that's understandable.

Intanto bisogna dire che nella bellissima Finalborgo, gestiti dagli stessi proprietari, ci sono 2 ristoranti : I Torchietti e I Torchi. Nel primo si mangia bene ed i prezzi sono nella media di quello che si mangia. Nel secondo i prezzi raddoppiano o quasi e nonostante la bella location, l'atmosfera, ecc ecc, non si mangia più come qualche anno fa....! Importante è senza dubbio il servizio, come viene servito il cibo nel piatto, il pre-antipasto, ma tutto questo si sa....., alla fine lo trovi nel conto...! Arriviamo al dunque.. Domenica 2 Marzo cena: 3 tavoli, 6 persone, io e mio marito inclusi..... Ordiniamo: Due antipasti, Cerviche di pesce, servito praticamente congelato. Due primi, sulla carta menù scegliamo risotto ai frutti di mare ma quello che ci viene servito in realtà, sono 2 risotti al "semi nero" di seppia. Il colore dei risotti non era nero ma di colore marone/vinaccia con qualche pezzettino di seppia e qualche ciuffetto. Discreto .... ma allora scrivete sul menù quello che poi servite al tavolo .... perché tra i due piatti c'è una notevole differenza e uno chef lo sa benissimo! Acqua ( una bottiglia), 2 bicchieri di vino bianco, (per evitare di non superare l'alcol test), di mediocre qualità consigliato dalla cameriera, 2 dolci buoni ma non eccezionali, 2 caffè accompagnati da un frollino al cioccolato e sale rosa ... totale pagato 2 persone € 154,00. Forse abbiamo sbagliato serata ??????. Purtroppo il mio compleanno è al 2 di Marzo e un ristorante di questo livello non può "cannare" 2 portate su due...! ...I titolari, a differenza di altre volte, non erano presenti quella sera.... ....E non aggiungo altro! Finalborgo sempre una "CHICCA" di rara bellezza, noi da Genova ci andiamo spesso perché ci piace tantissimo! Questa recensione serve a dare un "giro di Torchio" ad un ristorante che arrivato, già da anni, ad un certo livello, non dovrebbe deludere le aspettative del cliente!

The restaurant is located right at the entrance to one of Italy's most beautiful villages. Although discreet and elegant, I personally didn't appreciate the service: it was cold and unprofessional. While the waiter was explaining some of the dishes to us, he was called from another table and walked away. The food wasn't to my liking either. Excellent ingredients, but the cuisine was overly heavy, with a heavy use of olive oil in all the dishes. Reading the reviews, I expected better; perhaps we just hit the wrong end of the spectrum!

I really wanted to like the place but it was a complete disappointment. My tagliata was terrible meat quality (so dry I couldn't chew it), I sent it back and changed my order to ravioli (also quite bad). The risotto we ordered was below average and we also had a starter. I don't know if the place is resting on its past glory but I will definitely avoid it. The only plus aspect: kind service and environment.
