Esperienza davvero speciale, iniziata con una degustazione nella loro cantina: servizio impeccabile. Siamo state seguite da Marco, preparatissimo e attento, che ci ha accompagnate sia nella scelta e spiegazione di ogni bottiglia assaggiata sia nella nostra cena personalizzata. A tavola abbiamo iniziato con gli antipasti: capesante e uova con fonduta e tartufo, tutto buonissimo. Poi ci hanno fatto assaggiare il loro piatto forte, i plin al ragù: squisiti. A seguire abbiamo preso plin alla fonduta e tartufo e il filetto di spalla con salsa fondo bruno, entrambi eccezionali. Anche i dolci ottimi: gelato al fior di latte, bonet e cioccolato con pesche di Volpedo sciroppate. Il tutto accompagnato da una bottiglia di Buon Padre 2019, perfetta per la cena. Serata davvero memorabile, qualità altissima e servizio impeccabile. Assolutamente consigliato!
Ristorante di altri tempi, nella cura dei dettagli e attenzione al cliente. La sala richiama la storia e la gestione famigliare del luogo, ma con un approccio moderno. Il servizio è ottimo, grazie alla presenza instancabile di Claudio, oste professionale e assai simpatico! Il menu offre una scelta di piatti tradizionali di altissimo livello( i tajarin son i migliori delle Langhe!) e di piatti di pesce. Bella carta vini, ma consiglio di chiedere a Claudio o di provare i vini dell’omonima azienda vinicola-derthona buonissimo! Molto consigliato
Questo è il ristorante della famiglia Viberti, proprietaria anche dell' omonima cantina vinicola. Sì mangia ottimamente, tutti i piatti assaggiati erano eseguiti bene e con ottime materie prime. Il tutto viene accompagnato dai loro ottimi vini. Bella esperienza, la rifarò e la consiglio.
Cucina ottima di alto livello. Prezzo adeguato alla eccellente qualità.Servizio professionale impeccabile ,gentile. Una lode a Marco che con la sua attenzione ci ha fatti sentire a nostro agio. Grattata di tartufo sulle uova poche su fonduta .Lumache su crema di cavolfiore e pancetta croccante....un piatto da Oscar fantastico . Gnocchi di castagne al blu di mucca e cambia di salvia. Cavolo marinato con la robiola. Guanciale al Barolo. Formaggi. Tutto di ottima cucina ..complimenti allo staff della cucina ....non si può non tornare.
Ottimo ristorante storico risalente ai primi del 900. Il ristorante è costruito sulla antica cantina sottostante che è visitabile ed e possibile organizzare degustazioni, ed anche cene di altissimo livello. La cantina Viberti è un punto di riferimento nel comprensorio di Barolo. Sia la cantina (ne è stata costruita una nuova) sia il ristorante sono condotti dalla famiglia Viberti da molte generazioni. Claudio Viberti è l’attuale proprietario. Il ristorante è molto carino e ben arredato e si sviluppa in due piccole sale con vista sui filari; si respira l’atmosfera dei ristoranti caratteristici , autentici e rappresentatativi delle langhe. Potrete gustare i Piatti tipici della tradizione cucinati con maestria dallo Chef Marco. La carta deI vini è di ottimo livello. Personale cortese, professionale e preparato a consigliare e descrivere gli abbinamenti del menù; Alex ne e la dimostrazione. Assolutamente da provare come pure il nuovo ristorante della Famiglia Viberti, la locanda La Gemella.
Ristorante selezionato per festeggiare il compleanno di mia moglie nelle Langhe. Posto molto carino , personale professionale e gentile , cibo OTTIMO. Pranzo super con un paio di sorprese inaspettate : porcini freschi e un buon “re bianco” —> il tartufo !!!! Stra stra consigliato 🔝🔝🔝
Uno dei migliori ristoranti nella zona Mi piace molto l’atmosfera, l’accoglienza, il carattere tipico del ristorante storico.. il cibo molto buono e il piatto sicuramente da assaggiare - i tagliarin fatti in casa da sign. Maria. Ho assaggiato anche il piatto della stagione - capesante con la schiuma delle patate e il tartufo biano - 😍😍😍. La selezione dei vini - è una favola, bisogna prendere sicuramente della cantina Viberti, preferibilmente Barolo.
Finalmente tornati a cena fuori, fuori fuori sulla balaustra di fronte al locale, che dà sulla strada principale in una frazione di Barolo e quindi relativamente poco trafficata. Cambiano continuamente menu quindi le foto (compresa la mia) sono poco affidabili sul realmente trovare il piatto ma meglio così. Antipasto uovo in camicia fonduta asparagi guanciale croccante voto 9+++; plin di faraona e fondo bruno 7 e 1/2 ma per il mio gusto personale, li avrei preferiti un attimo più sodi ma cmq ottima qualità. Dolce una sfoglia con 2 cioccolati e frutti di bosco 10 e lode menzione e bacio accademico, meravigliosa. Il tutto accompagnato da ottimerrimi vini. Bravi e grazie di tutto.

Il posto è ben curato e il cibo molto buono anche se un pochino di fame me l'ha lasciato! :D (ma questo è un fattore personale). Consiglio battuta a coltello con tartufo e tajarin al ragù, entrambe portate veramente buone!
A Timeless Gem in Barolo – Even Better Than I Remember I returned to Buon Padre in Vergne after first visiting in 1998 during a wine-tasting trip with friends to Viberti — and it was just as memorable as all those years ago. The restaurant remains a small, stylish, and truly classic place, with an atmosphere that reflects the very best of Piedmont. The wines from their own Viberti winery are of exceptional class — among the finest in the region — and pair beautifully with the meal. We enjoyed an evening of authentic, traditional Piemontese cuisine, each dish prepared with care and depth of flavor. The staff were extremely friendly, warm, and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcomed — a level of hospitality that is hard to find. A wonderful experience in every way. A must-visit when in Barolo.
We visited this place on the recommendation of hotel owner. It's a cozy restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Piemonte cuisine. White truffle dishes were so delicious, of course, but panna cotta—served with caramel sauce—was the most delicious we have ever had!
We were two couples who started the evening with a wine tasting in Buon Padre’s historic wine cellar. Our hosts were incredibly knowledgeable, and the atmosphere quickly became warm and friendly. We continued with Buon Padre’s tasting menu and their recommended wine pairing — an exceptionally flavorful meal with excellent wines and wonderful hosts. The experience was elegant and stylish without feeling formal or stiff. Truly a special evening for all four of us. A heartfelt thank you to Buon Padre for giving us such a memorable holiday experience 🥰
Best place and best wine I had in the area. Took a bottle of the house domain white wine, not my usually, prefer red. Fabulous.

The best pasta I've ever eaten, homemade so fresh with delicate texture and flavour, not to be missed. Perfect portion sizes to have all four courses. The 2020 Barolo was a red fruit flavour smooth wine, very enjoyable.
We had the 6-course tasting menu at this restaurant and ordered a bottle of wine to go with it. The food and service were both 10/10 — every dish was delicious, with rich flavors and great attention to detail. The staff were attentive and made the whole experience special. We can’t wait to go back!

Firs day with new menue. Had to try 2 antipasti(!) - both scallops and aspargues to top score! And of course Marias tanjerin ragu is still on; always a pleasure! Not to forget - great selection on wines!
This is one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. The food is fantastic, and so is the service. I have been there multiple times, and each time I enjoyed both wine and food tasting. Highly recommended.
The food quality is really high, the price is correct and the area is very good. We tried different dishes and we really enjoyed it, specially the pasta. The truffles were also fantastic. Their staff are almost all speaking in English and capable of explaining the entire menu. Very polite and caring as well.
Amazing! So good we went back for dinner. Some of the best food we have had in Italy. Angel hair with veal ragu and the plin with butter and sage was EXCELLENT pasta, Guinea flow breast so perfect I had twice in one day!

The restaurant was very nice with comfortable table and sitting. Very traditional and delicate food with great taste and accurate wine pairing. Without doubt one of the best food I had in the region so far. Welcoming atmosphere and staff, very tasty food and a fantastic sommelier to pair your dish with wines from langhe. They have a daily menu and portions are good. I was very moved by their kindness and caring service. I can only recommend this place if you’re looking for an authentic little Italian restaurant in the Barolo region. Ps: they have some great wines from vineyards right next to the restaurant 🤗
Difficult to choose between the many tempting dishes in the menu. Clever staff gave us good explanation about different options to help us choose. Gave also some suggestions, and paired the dishes with fabulous wines from their own winery. Amazing!
Without doubt ‘the’ best dining experience in the region. Although the menu is generally about the same in the Barolo area, Buon Padre has a very refined cuisine. The accompanying Viberti wines they offer are excellent. A visit to the wine cellars are also recommended.

Avevamo letto ottime recensioni di questo ristorante, e dobbiamo solo confermare. Materie prime di qualità assoluta, sapori da esperienza sensoriale, Inpiattamenti di classe. Il Barolo, inutile dirlo, eccelso. Locale dal sapore antico tenuto benissimo pulito e con servizi moderni. Personale preparato gentilissimo. Con cane e bimbo di 7 mesi ci hanno accolto e sistemato e trattati da re. Prezzi in linea con l'esclusività della location ma molto più bassi della media. Ci torneremo!!!
Pranzo di qualità con possibilità di tartufo a poca distanza da Barolo. Vini buoni. Non metto la 5 stella perché i prezzi sono un po’ alti (pranzo degustazione 45€ - valore a parer mio 30/35 - e tartufo in aggiunta 40€ - ci può stare).
Ottimo ristorante nel comune di Barolo. Abbiamo pranzato iniziando dall'antipasto. Ottime e gustose le animelle come il vegetale molto delicato. Alcuni piatti buoni, come i tajarin e i plin alla fonduta, baccalà pessimo (sentiva solo di capperi) . Il problema sono le porzioni molto misere rispetto ai prezzi dei piatti. I tajarin in due forchettate erano finiti, i plin erano 10 minuscoli ravioli. Abbiamo speso tantissimo e siamo usciti con la fame
