Io non ho mai visto tanta cordialità e accoglienza , in tutti i locali che ho girato . Oltre che gustare un ottimo cibo pesce fantastico e genuino . Faccio i miei complimenti allo staff al cuoco e alle proprietarie e anche alla cameriera veneta uno splendore . Uno tra i migliori ristoranti di pesce di Levanto e zone limitrofe. Serve anche pietanze per chi soffre di intolleranze come il glutine. Bellissima la posizione del ristorante ma soprattutto l'organizzazione delle varie sale. È molto grande, ha tre sale interne e una veranda, sia coperta che vista cielo. Il menù è ricco di piatti, soprattutto a base di pesce, che è sempre fresco e cucinato alla perfezione. Il menù dei vini è anch'esso molto vario, caratterizzato soprattutto da vini bianchi che accompagnano i piatti a base di pesce. Il locale è molto raffinato, curato nei dettagli e con molteplici richiami al mare. È adatto per una cena romantica o semplicemente per assaporare pesce e ricette locali. Il personale è professionale, caloroso, gentile e sempre a disposizione. Durante il nostro soggiorno a Levanto è stato il miglior ristorante nel quale abbiamo mangiato, lo consiglio vivamente a tutti i turisti e non.
Siamo tornati dopo circa 20 anni a mangiare lì…i sapori sono rimasti autentici, gli ingredienti sempre freschissimi e il personale simpatico, attentissimo e disponibile. Porzioni super abbondanti. Se volete mangiare del buon pesce a Levanto, questo è il posto giusto ♥️ grazie mille

Abbiamo prenotato per pranzo io e il mio compagno in quanto sono sempre super pieni, e abbiamo ordinato tre piatti da dividere e devo dire che ci hanno azzeccato in pieno con le porzioni. Sono abituata a non riuscire a finire il cibo o a sentirmi stra piena. Con loro super. Molto gentili e disponibili. I piatti erano a dir poco eccezionali. I calici di vino anche. Ovviamente non potevamo non prendere il dolce, Tiramisù wow. Ci torneremo sicuramente quando verremo a Levanto.

Siamo stati Ieri sera a cena all Osteria Tumelin, ogni volta che veniamo qui a Levanto è una tappa fissa e una garanzia!! Appena si varca la soglia si è accolti dal calore autentico di una famiglia che da generazioni gestisce questo piccolo gioiello culinario. Il menù è un trionfo di semplicità e freschezza basato su quello che offre il mare ogni giorno.Ciò che rende questo posto davvero speciale è il servizio. La titolare, con la sua cordialità e i suoi consigli sinceri, fa sentire ogni cliente come un ospite di casa. La passione per il loro lavoro traspare in ogni gesto, dalla preparazione dei piatti al racconto delle storie dietro ogni ricetta.
Cenato in 3 in questo ristorante, esperienza meritevole di essere ripetuta: cibo abbondante e assolutamente ottimo a un prezzo più che onesto, pesce freschissimo. Nota di merito alla cameriera che si é occupata di noi (penso si chiami Giada): gentilissima, disponibile e sempre sorridente. Ha contribuito con semplicità a rendere il nostro pasto piacevole. Piatti tradizionali a base di pesce sempre freschissimo, eccezionali tutti! Ieri ho mangiato i gamberi rossi di Santa Margherita ed erano spettacolari. Ogni piatto che vedevo passare mi mandava in crisi, non sapevo cosa scegliere al punto che ho preso 2 secondi piatti. L'ultima volta che ci sono stata ho mangiato una torta alla crema pasticcera con fragole veramente eccezionale, squisita. Cordiali e gentilissimi tutti, sia i proprietari che il personale. Il locale è molto gradevole e caratteristico, vale la pena di fermarsi a pranzo o cena almeno una volta durante le vacanze
Locale molto bello, con plateatico, pulizia impeccabile, gentilezza del personale, abbiamo pranzato benissimo, antipasto Tumelin è una varietà di pesce cotto e crudo infinito. ( consiglio di dividerlo in due se ordinate qualcosa altro, altrimenti basta per un pranzo per una persona) è arrivato un primo pesto e trofie tradizionale ligure, trofie fresche fatte a mano di dimensioni molto abbondanti ( una porzione doppia sui 400 gr di pasta) delizioso. Una bella griglia mista con due gamberi, due scampi molto grandi, pesce spada e triglia. Tutto eccellente. Terminato con due limoncelli , due litri di acqua gassata e un calice di prosecco 90 euro. Prezzo molto onesto per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Tutto molto abbondante, cucina genuina e sana, tradizionale ligure. Per chi cerca il master chef andate oltre. Molto cortesi e attenti anche alle mie allergie, ci hanno descritto i piatti in modo corretto. Grazie mille CONSIGLIATISSIMO. Obbligatoria la prenotazione.

Gita a Levanto, mi avevano parlato del ristorante, ho letto le recensioni e ho telefonato per prenotare. Ho fatto benissimo. Mi hanno fatto subito accomodare, portato menù, pane e acqua. Ho ordinato linguine al ragù di polpo, fritto misto con patatine fritte. Linguine eccellenti, porzione molto abbondante. Fritto misto scarsino, patatine abbondanti. Come dolce, torta Tumelin, buonissima. Spesa 61€, qualche voce, per me, troppo alta. Personale, gentilissimo e simpatico. L'unica pecca, da segnalare, non aver portato la salviettina per le mani dopo il pesce. Lo consiglio
Non si può iniziare un viaggio alle cinque terre senza prima fermarsi all Osteria Tumelin di Levanto : tempio della gastronomia locale . Ristorante storico in dimora storica non lascia nulla al caso ; dalle tovaglie ai tovaglioli in rigoroso cotone perfettamente lindi e stirati ad una apparecchiatura senza pecche e senza macchie ; il servizio accurato attento premuroso senza mai cadere nella leziosità ; professionisti al servizio dei clienti …chiedete assolutamente di Andrea , non ve ne pentirete sia per la simpatia che la professionalità . La cucina a semivista è un brulicare di sfornamenti di pesci cotti alla maniera più diversa : griglia , sale , alla ligure , al forno con patate …rigorosamente il pescato abbondante del giorno e nella cucina dall allegro vociare tra una portata e l altra spicca un giovane chef che si distingue per bellezza e portamento ma soprattutto per la bravura nel sapere al momento destreggiarsi tra richieste improvvise di clienti pretenziosi ma dal palato fine ; ho avuto modo di farmi preparare da Leonardo questo il nome del giovane chef , dei semplici spaghetti alle vongole che fatti bene non sono così semplici anzi è proprio in ciò che apparentemente sembra facile che la genialità deve emergere in tutta la sua sapienza , ebbene spaghetto al dente cottura perfetta nonostante 200 coperti in azione dal gusto intenso ma delicato senza alcun retrogusto al palato d aglio , nessuna traccia di sabbia , rigorosamente sgusciati come confà ad un ristorante di livello non annegati nell olio : un grande spaghetto alle vongole di assoluto spessore gastronomico ! Non solo ma se vogliamo addentrarci nell azzardo di un ristorante che fa della tradizione un suo giusto must di successo invalicabile il tocco e la magia di Leo formatosi nelle migliori scuole di alta cucina potrà portare quel pizzico di magia innovativa lieve ma fondamentale che arricchirà ( se mai ce ne fosse bisogno ) questo locale straordinario . Ad esempio … lo spaghetto sul quale viene adagiata una straordinaria bisque di gamberi , piatto più elaborato rispetto al precedente ma di grande impatto sia di gusto che visivo che sensoriale . Non fatevi sfuggire gli antipasti alla Tumelin che da 50 anni troneggiano in tutta la regione per varietà gusto ed abbondanza . Non vi mancherà mai un sorriso di Anna e Romina donne straordinarie che hanno saputo gestire al meglio i passaggi non facili generazionali mantenendo sempre un livello di altissima qualità senza mai indietreggiare di un grado . Francesca nella retroguardia vi delizierà con i suoi dolci rigorosamente fatti tutti in casa gelati compresi i più buoni del Paese . Cantina eccellentissima dove potrete bere seriamente ogni vino per ogni tasca dal Vermentino al Sassicaia dal Prosecco al Dom Perignon . Infine un encomio ai cuochi Damiano , Marco e Gigio che imperturbabili affrontano durante l estate temperature altissime all interno della loro mirabolante cucina per pulizia ed efficienza per garantire ai loro clienti il massimo della gastronomia ligure … Hanno saputo cogliere al meglio la maestria e gli insegnamenti dei fondatori Gianni e Tonino . Il prezzo ? In linea con un tempio del gusto ! Da provare sempre e comunque in qualsiasi occasione !
Era la nostra prima cena qui — ed è stata un’esperienza meravigliosa! Fin dai primi minuti l’atmosfera conquista: accogliente, confortevole e calda come a casa. Il cibo è semplicemente eccezionale. In particolare voglio sottolineare il pesce al forno — incredibilmente tenero, profumato e freschissimo! I frutti di mare sono squisiti — si sente che tutto è preparato con amore e maestria. Il personale è davvero speciale — persone gentili, attente e sorridenti, che creano un’atmosfera di cura e accoglienza. E quando ci hanno servito il dessert — è stato il tocco finale perfetto, che ha esaltato l’armonia dei sapori e lasciato un’impressione meravigliosa. “Tumalin” è un luogo dove si desidera tornare ancora e ancora. L’Osteria Tumelin è semplicemente il top a Levanto. La qualità del cibo è stellare. Ogni piatto è studiato, equilibrato e valorizza in modo impeccabile le materie prime, soprattutto il pesce, sempre freschissimo e trattato con grande rispetto. Si percepisce una cucina di livello alto, fatta di tecnica, esperienza e sensibilità nei sapori. Nulla è lasciato al caso: dalle cotture perfette agli abbinamenti mai scontati. Anche il servizio è all’altezza della cucina. Attento, preciso, professionale, ma allo stesso tempo cordiale e mai invadente. Ti accompagna nel percorso con competenza, spiegando i piatti e consigliando con intelligenza. È uno di quei ristoranti in cui esci pienamente soddisfatto, con la sensazione di aver vissuto un’esperienza vera, non solo una cena. Qualità altissima, grande cura in ogni dettaglio e una costanza che fa davvero la differenza. Un riferimento assoluto a Levanto.

I have never eaten such good fish in my entire life! Not only very fresh, but cooked to perfection, like nowhere else!. The welcome from the owner duo, mother and daughter, is exceptional. I dream of returning to this restaurant!!!
Superb restaurant, great team led by wonderful mother & daughter. We visited twice during our 5 day stay. Both meals & wine were excellent. We were offered fresh fish that was cooked simply & perfectly & filleted by the owner. Would def return to this great place.
Very nice seafood please with fresh fresh seafood and very good pasta dishes ! Can only recommend when you are in the area. There are obviously like everywhere in this strip also a lot of tourists in here. So not a “hidden” gem. But the food and service is outstanding !

They have very traditional Ligurian cuisine, and it is absolutely wonderful. Everything is very fresh and home cooked. Fantastic service. Very friendly they seem to really enjoy the fact that you have picked their restaurant.
Excellent place for seafood! Highly recommended. If you love fresh fish, shellfish and other goodies from the sea look no further. Seasoning is well balanced and the ingredients are super fresh. Staff is friendly and helpful just a little under staffed, but they manage their tables well. Great experience make sure to reserve a spot because it's a well desired place.
Nice place, delicious seafood antipasti, very reasonable prices, very helpful staff, clean, and no food smell in the restaurant. During crowded season, you need to book in advance, if you want to be sure to get a table. We’ll decently return one day!
Fabulous food! The seafood starter for two was excellent. My fritto misto was probably the best I've ever had and the portion was large too. My wife had thinly sliced octopus which was also delicious. Didn't try the desserts...was too full. Service friendly, booking a good idea especially if you want to eat outside. Relaxed atmosphere. Sei a Levanto devi passare da Tumelin. Una osteria caratteristica e a quanto pare storica. Il cibo è notevole e il servizio fantastico. Accoglienza cortese ed un pizzico di confidenzialità che non guasta. Bravi i ragazzi. Prenotate che è meglio.
Siamo stati all’Osteria Tumelin durante una serata a Levanto e ne siamo usciti pienamente soddisfatti. Abbiamo preso un antipasto abbondante e ben presentato, seguito da un primo ai frutti di mare davvero gustoso e ricco. I piatti sono curati, le porzioni generose e i sapori autentici. Anche il dolce è stato una piacevole sorpresa: buonissimo! Il locale è accogliente e il personale gentile. Prezzi nella media, più che giustificati dalla qualità. Food was great, only problem was the price. It was slightly expensive. Other than that the food was really good. The waiters were super nice and they really made an impact on my personal overall expierience. It was slightly loud at times, since we sat next to a group of 12 people. Overall 4,3 stars for me.
Great restaurant, lots of traditional dishes (mainly fish plates, all fresh, - which I definitely recommend). Available seats indoors and outdoors too. Generous portions, a bit disappointed by the “Fritto Misto” due to the frying being a bit dry. Staff was friendly and attentive (some exceptions by the young girl who was a bit in a rush on the closing so was not even smiling or replying - seemed to not care).
Located near the beach in Levanto, we stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a lunch place after hiking. We ordered a pasta and smoked swordfish dish for sharing, and were surprised at the taste and quality of the food. The portion size was also very generous for the price point. the only caveat is that the dishes were quite oily, but they were delicious nonetheless. Despite being in a location quite far from the Levanto station, there were quite a number of patrons in the restaurant during lunch time. Recommended if you are in Levanto!

Ristorante molto frequentato e caotico, all’interno poco areato, forte odore di cibo che poi rimane su capelli e vestiti. Trofie molto buone, per mio gusto personale troppo aglio. Spaghetti alle vongole non molto saporiti e non legati dal sughetto. Dolci buonissimi fatti in casa. Il ragazzo che ci ha servito è stato gentilissimo, professionale e sempre sorridente ;)
Osteria storica di Levanto. I piatti non mi hanno entusiasmato, ma ho apprezzato la passione delle titolari nel portare avanti la loro idea di ristorazione. La cucina, prevalentemente di pesce, è tradizionale, forse un pò troppo ampia l'offerta. Buona la cantina. I prezzi,nel complesso sono adeguati.

The food and service ok. When asked waiter really did not know what to recommend. we had antipasti Tumelin which were 24.50 per person. So, antipasti I thought were good but so sour that at some point I stopped eating and got a little bit sick. Couldn’t eat my primi piatti (pasta tumelin) cause I felt like I was going to throw up. I don’t think it was the reason that something was not good or went bad, it was just too sour. Everything too salty and sour. I tried spaghetti Tumelin as we shared it with my father and they were good but too much curry in it. Then panna cotta and tiramisu for desert...it was okay, nothing special. Then we asked for the bill and it took them a really long time to get it. If you ask me, you can find a better place definitely in Levanto, just make sure you reserve before since it is all and always full!
Rude service. We arrived early to ask if we needed a reservation. We were told we did not and that they opened at noon. We arrived a few minutes after 12 and were told that they were not ready and…
We ordered the seafood risotto which is for 2 people, alone you can’t order it. The seafood was 99% this tiny clams that have barely any edible flesh, let alone any taste and half of them didn’t even open. No shrimp or any fish whatsoever, 2-3 small pieces of something that looked like calamari but was hard to tell because the risotto was much too salty and you could only taste salt. After spending about 10 minutes trying to get rid of all the shells, not much edible remained on our plates so we left hungry. I don’t know about any other dishes in this restaurant but the risotto we definitely cannot recommend.
Big rip off spot I ordered the first plate which was supposed to be seafood and I received just mussels ... When I complained they said that mussels is considered as seafood. Thereafter the main plate was so small that I had to go and eat somewhere else. Thereafter they said they will not consider the seafood in the bill. When I was ready to pay, the seafood was still on the bill and they added a desert. The lady said that since the restaurant exists since 1955 I must appreciate it ... Full of lies and bullshit talks. Very proud employees who will not act in favor of the clients. I suppose that this is due to the touristic place which brings in a lot of money as there are a lot of people around that place. I do not recommend this restaurant but thr Gattabria restaurant just a few steps away
