Away from the busier tourist-trap-esque thoroughfare of Levanto, this hole-in-the-wall bistro was a pleasant surprise! Since it was late in the afternoon when we arrived, only a few items on the menu were available, but the sweet lady running the joint was prepared to make food to order (with the caveat of a wait time of 20 mins). She was wonderfully charming and hospitable, even offering me a corkscrew for the wine bottle in my hand completely unprompted. We were starving, so we went with the already prepared items - the pesto lasagna and the Ligurian-style swordfish. The lasagna was solid and the swordfish was fresh and delicious. They charge by weight and the price is very reasonable (~17 euros for a light lunch for two). Overall, cannot recommend this place enough. Only recommendation is to maybe show up earlier in the afternoon before the food runs out, or if not, be ready to wait a little bit for your food. It's worth it, trust me.

It’s more of a take-away spot, but there are a few tables if you prefer to eat in. They serve good, typical food from the region—simple, honest, and full of flavor. It feels like eating at your Italian mother-in-law’s place (if you're lucky enough to have one)! Warm, homey, and satisfying. 5⭐

The most authentic experience we had in Italy - this is a one-man show, so everything might take a bit longer and you have to get into the Italian "no rush" groove, but it is worth it. There is no set menu, just a wide selection of fresh dishes to choose from. You can mix and match and try small portions of everything which I wholeheartedly recommend as everything we had here was amazing.

This was our go to spot in Levanto. We finally found some good pasta in Levanto.. Rome had us disappointed. We can finally say we had good pasta in Italy !!! We were repeat customers :)

Food was excellent. Don’t bother with the menu, walk inside and see what the owner made that day. The lasagnas were fantastic. The fish was delicious. Highly recommend if you are looking for good food. It is a small shop and not a restaurant, but there are tables to eat at.

Truly authentic, home cooked Italian food. The food had great flavors and you can tell it was good quality. I ordered the seafood soup and it tasted better than places that consider themselves fine dining. I also ordered the chicken dish which was delicious. Husband ordered the lasagna and loved it. I also have a severe dairy allergy and the owner/chef was very kind and able to recommend various options. Very welcoming and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend for lunch.

Authentic Italian lagsange in top class! I stayed in Levanto for 5 days and of all the different breakfast, lunch and dinner places I think this has been the best place. Reasonable prices, fantastic food and a nice couple who run the place. You can eat there or take away. A must visit if you are in Levanto.

Hidden gem! We were so happy to have found this lovely gem of a restaurant in Levanto. The food was delicious and authentic - we loved our lasagne al pesto, pollo alla Ligure, and melanzane alla Parmigiana. It was wonderful homestyle cooking - and there plenty of locals buying food to take home!!

This was a Google gem of find! We fried anchovies sand pesto lasagne. The latter was excellent! Best we have had in fact. It’s a small family run establishment with minimal seating. Locals were taking out the food. Highly recommend.
