Amazing bar! I think we need more bars like this, and especially more people like this. Everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. The owner is a great source of advice; he knows his spirits very well and knows exactly what you need. I recommend it to anyone who likes old-fashioned cocktails, not those new concoctions where they throw just anything in them. I stumbled upon this place by chance this summer, and Frank was truly fantastic! There were three of us, and he made a custom gin and tonic for each of us, taking our preferences into account. He has an impressive selection of gins! And if you want something different, just ask and you'll be surprised. That was the case for me too. I came back a few days ago, and he offered me a cocktail whose name I can't remember, but it was delicious! I remember it had honey, some kind of spirit, and a garnish of praline peanuts (the original called for walnut kernels, but unfortunately I'm allergic). Even though I don't live in Genoa, I was born and lived here for a long time. If I had discovered this place earlier, I might have never left! :-) Frank is much more than just a bartender; he's a true bartending artist!

A true American bar where you can indulge in excellent spirits, served with care and professionalism by the bartender. The owner, with whom we had a pleasant conversation, is generous with his advice to make guests feel at ease throughout their experience. The atmosphere is warm and refined, and the Rum Agricole I tasted was pure poetry. The price, while obviously not typical of a pub, is commensurate with the experience offered.

Undoubtedly a lovely, welcoming place with a warm atmosphere. Drinks and cocktails are a true specialty of bartender Angelo. He gives excellent advice and mixes just the right amount, especially for those like me who aren't particularly pro-alcohol. I really enjoyed the cocktail and didn't feel heartburn like I often do at other places. It's best to book well in advance as everything is served in glasses. The quality is well-balanced by the prices. Courtesy and kindness reign supreme! I highly recommend it and give the location and all the staff, especially the capital-B bartender Angelo, a well-deserved 5 stars! 🔝

A beautiful venue located on Nervi's small beach. The owners are simply fantastic: you're pampered from the moment you enter until you leave. The bartender, Angelo, makes killer cocktails, while his father knows how to guide you through your selection, demonstrating a strong knowledge of spirits and blends. It goes without saying that the entire staff is very friendly. The highlight is a beautiful 1980s-style location, with exposed brick walls and a wide selection of rums, whiskeys, and much more. I highly recommend booking before going, as the venue is very small and they don't serve drinks in plastic cups (so you can't take them away).

A great experience for a quiet evening: both traditional and more unusual cocktails, all excellent quality. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. It's a shame the TV was on, which ruined the atmosphere a bit, but it's a matter of taste, I'd say. Definitely worth a try.

ottimo locale , molto bello lo stile retró il proprietario molto divertente e simpatico fatevi consigliare da lui se siete indecisi o se non sapete cosa prendere , ci azzecca sempre !!! prezzi nella media se si vuole bere in un locale del genere bisogna spendere qualità si paga per il resto si beve bene ed è molto accogliente !! consiglio vivamente se si è in zona essendo piccolo come locale bisogna prenotare in anticipo consiglio !!!

This place is historic; I've known it for many years. Small and very welcoming, it offers a vast array of cocktails. And if you have any doubts, the very kind owner will help you choose and offer recommendations based on your tastes. But remember... Make a reservation because it's always busy, especially on weekends.

The place is undoubtedly very beautiful... elegant and with a good atmosphere. I asked for advice on a good alcoholic cocktail, which I didn't like at all... the cocktail wasn't alcoholic at all. Sorry, but I still recommend it.

Pretty disappointing bartenders, they’re not good conversationalists and really don’t want you to be there, they would prefer to watch football on their phones than make conversation.
