Great restaurant! Friendly staff, very good food, and a fair price for what I ate. Recommended.
I brought my family to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I'm a native of Cagliari, so I recognize Sardinian food, having lived there for twenty years. I must say, it's truly high-quality, perfectly cooked. I hadn't eaten such delicious suckling pig in years. I also wanted to try the fish, ordering a mixed grill, and it was excellent. Not to mention the platters of cured meats and cheeses. That evening I felt like I was in my homeland. The staff was incredibly kind and professional. When I want to eat Sardinian food and feel a little at home, I go there. Excellent, I recommend it to everyone.
Simply fantastic! A Sardinian restaurant offering a wide selection of traditional Sardinian dishes, from meat to fish. Everything was excellent: the appetizers with local ingredients, culurgiones, suckling pig with potatoes (really good), and seadas. We recommend trying the tasting menu. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. We'll be back soon, highly recommended!
I had dinner at this place when I was visiting Turin. I had catalan prawns as my starter, followed by the seafood paella as my first course, the grilled lamb as my second, and creme caramel for dessert. All the dishes tasted great and I was very happy with my meal. I highly recommend coming here!
We've been to this restaurant a couple of times and will definitely be back. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, and the service is very efficient. The meat and fish menu offers a variety of traditional Sardinian dishes, all well-crafted and made with excellent ingredients. The high-quality cheeses and cured meats served as appetizers deserve special mention. The wines and desserts are also excellent. Highly recommended for a lovely Sunday lunch with friends or family.
We were eating lunch here. We took fish plate with French Fries and it was pretty good. Also we took coffee and dessert and we like it.
Amazing food owners are very friendly and was very helpful regarding myself been gluten free they catered for all my needs its our new local favourite place!!
Sardinian restaurant located on a side street in the Parella neighborhood. I went there on Christmas Eve and had a great time, along with the delicious food. However, I returned a few days ago for lunch, and when I saw the chalkboard menu, I asked if I could order something else. They said no, so I ordered from the chalkboard menu. However, when my neighbor asked the same question, the waiter said they also had an à la carte menu, but I couldn't order from it because I hadn't been told it was available. All in all, I had a very good meal at a very reasonable price.
Finally, a restaurant that presents itself well and, above all, fills the plate well! There were six of us, and almost all of us ordered an appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, plus a couple of bottles of wine and a couple of desserts: €35 each. The paella, with fregole pasta instead of rice, was truly excellent! The fish was very good and plentiful (not like when you order spaghetti allo scoglio and get spaghetti with tomato sauce with two empty mussel shells, just to give you the impression they have fish somewhere in the kitchen). The grilled meat was very tender and flavorful, but still cooked rare. If we really want to point out a negative point that is common to virtually all restaurants, it's the price of the appetizers. While they are very good, with their salami and typical cheeses, they are overall overpriced... Although I'd definitely order the grilled cheese with honey again!
Great food, big plates, friendly environment. However I feel too much like home, the waiters are not what you would call professionals, more like your mom bringing you food at the table which well you could or could not like. They got my order wrong three times but they were prompt to change my plate when I made them notice. However we were always a group of 6+ and I speak very fast, this happened to me only. I keep going there for lunch.
A very nice Sardinian restaurant with friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff. I'd been there previously for a group dinner with a pre-packaged menu and had very good culurgiones and malloreddus. The appetizers were good, but the suckling pig was a bit disappointing, as it was a bit dry. However, I returned on Sunday and ordered dishes from the à la carte menu: incredibly tender Alghero-style octopus, amazing culurgiones with squid ink and shrimp, and very good maccarones with Vernaccia wine and sausage. The price was fair.
I hate to give a low rating to people who work... But I have to be objective about how the evening went. The dishes were good, but with neutral flavors. I think of the Sardinian pecorino cheese I tried in the past, which I remember as having a savory, bold flavor, very different from the one I had at the restaurant. The staff was kind, but completely confused. The kitchen was busy, so the dishes arrived at unpredictable times: a quick appetizer, twenty minutes for the first course—which isn't a problem, if it's well-made—but when it arrives for one diner and not the other... And when the missing first course finally reaches the table, but the sauce even contains sand from the clams... Orders arrived at the wrong tables, the menu was uninformative, and when I asked the wait staff, the answer was often "I don't know... Maybe...". What was most annoying, however, was dessert: since it wasn't à la carte, the desserts were listed verbally. There wasn't a single Sardinian dessert. A nearby table asked for seadas, only to be told that, given the kitchen's difficulties that evening, they would hardly be able to prepare them. So, when our turn came, to avoid making things difficult for the staff, we didn't order the typical Sardinian dessert. Unfortunately, two of them soon emerged from the kitchen and headed to a table belonging to the owners' acquaintances. It's perfectly normal to want to treat a good customer with kid gloves, but in plain sight, it only sends the message that the others present are second-rate customers. I'm not entirely sure why the raspberry tart was served with a strawberry topping and a fish fork... Bill: two appetizers, two first courses, and two desserts + a quarter of wine: €62. As for the price, there's nothing to complain about; it's not high considering the number of courses, but I'd be willing to pay more for a good, hassle-free dinner with authentic ingredients.
Antipasto appena decente, maialino non all' altezza di un ristorante sardo.Con 40 Euro si può mangiare meglio.Una volta era molto meglio.
We recently went for a birthday party. The food was acceptable, but the pork was so-so...not presented in all its aspects. There were a lot of people, few staff, and in the end, no coffee or anything else because it was too late.
Poor quality, mediocre food. Acceptable in lack of other options. Rude and unfair personnel don't make the customer feel comfortable. They seem to rush you through your meal
