If there was 6 *, this place would have deserved it. From the very entrance that is essentially a walk through a very authentic cobblestone passageway with lemons and oranges growing all the way to the central courtyard, it is a spectacular and specific experience. But let me focus on people working there - Sam from Kazakhstan was our waiter and he was very cool and playful person. At the same time playful and entertaining but also very professional. He was not the only person serving us but he was the most memorable. All other were also very good in what they were serving. The food, the food was majestic. We had Parmigiana. I was a bit doubtful, not being aubergine fan. Regardless I enjoyed it very much, I actually could not how the cook made aubergine taste so much like it had dough (lasagne like) bellow. I felt basilico and tomato, as well as aubergine. Fantastic appetizer. For main course I had lamb and baked potatoes. It was good, not as spectacular as Parimiggiana, but correctly made. My wife had Paccheri with sausage sauce. He enjoyed it, and she has exquisit palate and I trust her. For desert we had tiramisu and also lemon mouse with rasberries. Both were exquisite. Really, really good. We were offered more than one complimentary drinks. Thanks Sam and Buongusto. See you next year

Nice, cozy place with calm atmosphere. I selected meal of the day - lamb with potatoes and second dish was pasta with octopus. Lamb was perfect. As for pasta also great, while there were few pieces of the octopus (could be more ha-ha). But anyway we enjoyed this place and I recommend.

Great restaurant and brilliant choice of starters and pasta! We had the smoked trout and tuna tataki as well as truffle pasta and ragu! Coffee was great too (not a suprise for Italy but I loved the taste).
Absolutely spectacular food. One of the best steak dishes I’ve had in a long time and the 2nd best tiramisu I’ve had (fist is my moms 😉). The waiters where lovely, brought us bread and lovely olive oil to start free of charge. Just overall a wonderful experience at a reasonable price for the quality.
I think we had dinner Saturday night in the best restaurant in Limone Sul Garda. We had dinner at 8.30pm. Make sure you book. Ring them. Italian Antipasti, shellfish, steak tatare. Lamb, trout, steak. GRAPPA.
The food is delicious and very fresh. The menu had interesting dishes of sea food. Limited choice of typical offerings for kids in this restaurant, such as pizza and/or traditional pasta. So, keep in mind if you have a difficult kid that likes limited dishes. If you want to secure your table, go early for lunch as it gets quite full quickly.
When you enjoy Italy - you should do it only in very good restaurants. "Hostaria Al Buongusto" is one of them. Perfect balance between romantic place and delicious meals.
A beautiful place for dinner and spending time together. Every dish was very good. Although we didn't try everything, I'm sure it was all very good. I recommend the steak with red wine.
A beautiful and atmospheric spot, tucked away among fragrant lemon trees and greenery – the setting alone creates a wonderful mood. We started our dinner with a burrata and tomato appetizer - fresh and really good. For the main course, we had the papardelle with meat and a fish dish – both were fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. For dessert, we chose: lemon mousse and tiramisu. Each had its own character – the mousse was light and refreshing, the tiramisu creamy and delicate. The portions weren’t large, but just right – enough to enjoy the food without feeling too full afterward. Friendly service, a lovely setting, and a well-thought-out menu – we’ll definitely be back! Edit: our second visit, and once again, everything was outstanding. The pasta with pesto was incredibly flavorful, and the “Il Siciliano” dessert was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
We were very lucky to get into this place without a reservation. We got there right at opening at 6:30 and there was already a line so recommend booking! We loved the prawn salad, tuna, rooster and lamb rack
Absolutely amazing! If you are in Limone Sul Garda, don’t go to find other place to have dinner. My truly recommendation! Fully occupied in 15 min after opening- it means a lot) Just plan and book your special dinner here because it will be special! Food, atmosphere, location, service - everything is just perfect! Gorgeous restaurant for dinner. Fantastic food, beautiful setting, great service. We didn't book either time we visited and this wasn't a problem, but on our second visit, we got a slightly "worse" table for not booking - so book ahead if you want to be in the heart of the outdoor area :)
We saved the best until last, and this was definitely the highlight of our stay. Amazing food in a beautiful courtyard. A special mention goes to Eliza, who was extremely helpful with her recommendations for dessert and for her people skills, also to Sergio, who was very friendly and professional.
Had lunch here for my husband's birthday and really enjoyed it. The staff were super friendly, and the vibe of the place was really nice. The food was delicious from start to finish, and the dessert was amazing. Prices are a bit steep, but overall a great spot for a special meal.

Lunch is very enjoyable here and definitely one of the best places in Limone. The tartare and spaghetti are very well balanced with strong flavours. Initially, I expected the Paccheri with Italian colours to taste the best after I saw some reviews here but I was underwhelmed. Overall, a relaxing lunch with great service.
Hostaria Al Buongusto was such a great find. The fish was incredibly fresh—like it came straight from the ocean—and every dish was full of flavor. The beef was unfortunately quite disappointing—it wasn’t fresh and fell below average. I had ordered fettuccine, but it was no longer available, and I wasn’t informed beforehand.
