Locale molto carino e curato in zona carmine.
Friendly staff and amazing cuisine - vegan Pad Thai is absolutely recommended!
We stumbled upon it one evening, spontaneously, after seeing it several times while passing by Carmine, and by hearsay. I must say it was a delightful surprise in every way. We were welcomed and accompanied throughout the culinary journey by the owner, who recommended both the dishes and the sake to pair them with. Definitely worth returning to, and highly recommended!
If you're vegan, this is a restaurant you must try! They have a wide variety of options, and I especially recommend the Ramen because they make a delicious broth, and the Baclava for dessert because it's truly the perfect way to end a pleasant evening. The attentive and friendly staff makes the evening even more enjoyable. They're great at being inclusive, and they have dishes for everyone: omnivores, vegetarians, vegans, celiacs, and those with intolerances. Highly recommended ✨️
A truly excellent experience. We were greeted by Giovanni, the head waiter, who was truly kind and, despite being alone, managed the entire restaurant in excellent time. The appetizers we both ordered were exceptional, both the tofu skewers and the Vietnamese crepe. For the main courses, I ordered pad Thai, and my wife ordered a rice and chicken dish, the name of which I unfortunately don't remember. The pad Thai was good, a little different from what I expected, and perhaps not exactly what I would have chosen for my personal taste, but I passed it on to my partner and she loved it, and I stole the rice and chicken, and it was truly an A+ dish with a sauce that complemented the dish beautifully. And finally, for dessert, a Japanese cheesecake with cream. Individually, they weren't great, but together they were a winning team, bringing out the best in each other, and I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be back, thanks for this super positive experience!
A rather nice place. The Asian-style dishes here seem modest in size, but they're filling. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but it's worth trying if you like the cuisine. The downside is the parking, as the restaurant doesn't have its own, so you'll have to be resourceful and hope you find one close enough. Regardless, I recommend coming here and trying this little place's cuisine!
Excellent Asian restaurant, very good food and attention to detail! Clean and tidy place, warm atmosphere, and friendly, helpful staff! The appetizers were delicious, and the pad thai was highly recommended! The portions were generously sized! I recommend making a reservation; service was quick despite there being only one person in the room!
The food here is excellent. The items we ordered marked "spicy" are slightly spicy, so there's something for everyone. I highly recommend the Katzu curry and the sweet Mount Fuji. The ravioli in broth and the ribs were also very good. The dining room is well-decorated, clean, and quiet, with low lighting but not dark. The girls who work there are all lovely. The prices are also great, because with noodles or soups for €13/€14 plus an appetizer, you'll leave feeling more than full. It's downtown, so parking is difficult, but in the evening it's free in the blue-lined parking lots, or there's the Randaccio parking lot a stone's throw away.
This place is a bit pricey but the food is quite delicious. The bao bao was very good and the ribs were the amazingly tender, juicy and flavorful. The waitress there spoke some English and was very helpful every time I've visited. Also, the beer they had was pretty good too.
Bel ristorante, dall'atmosfera accogliente e curata.
Siamo stati a cena in gruppo. Conto onesto, circa 30€/testa.
Good food, I quite liked it, everything fresh and made to order, the flavors are harmonious and aim to please the European palate. They offer ethnic Asian food made their way, with very little spice (there's little Asian about it), and almost no fish unless you choose to add it for an extra fee. The portions are very small, they almost seem like tastings. I expected better... but we'll definitely be back because, all things considered, it's worth recommending. P.S. If you're going to serve Asian, you're going to serve Asian... like abroad where they serve Italian cuisine and add pineapple and coconut to their carbonara.
There are some restaurants where it's really hard to write a review... did you have a bad meal? No, you had such a good meal that you'd go back. No. The Pad Thai was so far from the real thing that it wouldn't be... the only thing was the marinated egg was good, but the shrimp were perhaps boiled and not seasoned... I don't know, but anyway, the flavor of the dish was almost neutral, no real thrill. The bao was good, but tiny. The service was two out of three waiters, okay, one was mmmmm, and especially the acoustics and smells, guys... oh my god, we couldn't talk and the fumes from the kitchen were all over the room. Dinner for two was 70 euros, alcohol-free.
The service was really nice, but the food unfortunately way far from my expectations I hope others will have a better food experience
[ENG] Some of the food arrived cold, and while a few of us were served quickly, others had to wait nearly an hour. The atmosphere was okay. Also the coffee was cold, bitter and didn't even fill half the cup.
I came with my husband. The place was very nice, and the service was exceptional; the young man who served us was very friendly and made sure until the end that we were comfortable and that everything had arrived. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the quality of the dishes. As a huge Asian lover, I was very excited to try this restaurant, which I'd been eyeing for a while, as it was next to my old house. I saw that it offered Asian fusion. Everything we ate had this "greasy" flavor, too much oil everywhere, both in the first and the appetizers, and the dishes were a bit bland; except for the egg rolls, which were not bad. I was very disappointed with the pad Thai, which, alas, is not pad Thai. I should add that the portions are small. We ordered two appetizers: egg rolls (we received 3 individual ones) and steamed dumplings (we received maybe 4 individual ones), plus Cantonese rice and pad thai, which actually came in two small bowls, plus 1 water and 1 sparkling drink. All for €75. I was quite shocked. For the portions offered, the price is way too high. The Asian fusion concept is really nice, but I think the dishes need to be revised and improved (in terms of preparation, I mean), and, what's absolutely necessary, a reevaluation of portion sizes and costs.
Beautiful restaurant. Pleasing to the eye, but the food is a different story. It's Asian fusion, but hardly Asian. It's more Asian food created for Italians. None of the dishes were so amazingly delicious that I would go back. I could pretty much forget what any of it tasted like. Even the Korean BBQ bowl was more stewed meat than anything that could be considered related to Korean food. Even the broth to their pho played way too far away from Asian flavors. There were no strong spicy, or soy or fish or dashi flavors. I'm not even sure this place should be called Asian fusion. More like we picked up a few things from the Asian market and tried to make a dish.
It's not authentic Asian cuisine at all; it's prepared strangely. All the food we ordered was terrible. The Tamago Sando Japanese egg roll was burned, and the egg inside was nothing like what we eat in Japan. The kimuchi fried rice wasn't fried at all and was watery; it seemed like they boiled the rice without draining much of the water and simply mixed it with the ingredients without frying it. The Pad Thai uses thick noodles and it didn't taste like Pad Thai at all. The worst was the pork gyoza. The meat was completely raw, the pork inside was soft and pink. I asked the staff to cook the meat inside and they brought me the "cooked" gyoza, but they weren't cooked again; they were again partially pink and soft!! I told the staff again, but they wouldn't admit it and said, "It's cooked, the meat can be pink after cooking." They don't know how to cook food properly. I won't be returning.
I had dinner at this place after seeing the good review on Google but it was a terrible experience. First of all, the waitress couldn’t give us information about the ingredient in the meals and she didn’t have the humility to go ask the cook… instead she just kept reading what was written on the menu, thank you. Secondly, we had veggie spring rolls, really basic and it was frozen food not written in the paper menu at the restaurant only indicated on their website menu. I had soba salad and it was sooooo soooo salty like if they had use a bottle of soy sauce… Terrible and not tasty at all no flavour nothing and it was written with veggie and fruit but there were only two piece of radish and two piece of soybean sprout. I would not recommend this place especially if you have high blood pressure it can be risky for you!
The list of things that went wrong is long... trying to be brief: no taste, far too salty, the waiters (very nice though) don't know how to answer basic questions about the dish... the spring rolls were fried (not indicated) and frozen, for €8, ridiculous... ; the soba portion was tiny and the "vegetables" indicated on the menu were just a few roughly cut pieces of radish... the pad thai was the worst I ate, there was the tofu indicated indeed: 3 poor little cubes of tofu... it's a complete 0/20 on the dinner. The price is totally unjustified. The decoration was the only positive point.
It was the worst experience ever! The food is nothing like Asian cuisine. They served us gyoza with raw pork inside and mildly brushed it off as a mishap because they are “trying out a new menu”. They could not even get naan right! Shut the whole place down. It is nothing but nasty food and health hazards!
