Il ristorante la Medusa si trova nel centro storico di Portovenere ,situato nei vicoli stretti .I famosi Carruggi L ambiente è piccolo ma motto curato incantevole lo spazio esterno .Abbiamo mangiato benissimo ,con piatti tipici della cucina ligure .Complimenti per il semifreddo al gusto di basilico e pinoli era " divino" .Il servizio ai tavoli è stato accogliente e molto preparato. Complinenti a tutto lo staff . Ritorneremo presto.

Personale molto gentile,servizio veloce e cibo buono, hanno nel loro menù anche piatti per celiaci, ottima la frittura mista.Un 10 e lode al dolce semfreddo Potovenere .......un bellissimo ricordo da portare a casa.

Everything was very delicious and the portions were in proper portions. I had a doubt about the calamari since i dont like oily food but it was just so right. The dish is not so oily, thin layer of flour, the combine of selected vegetables just go so well with squid. Friendly and attentive service, plus the beautiful water fountain, definitely will visit again it im in the area

Best meal in the whole 5 terre. Portovenere is a must go place, the castel and sunset view are amazing, go there and then stop at la Medusa for a sensational dinner! Lovely staff, great wine selection and delicious food! Still dreaming about the pesto pasta! Not to mention the stuffed mussels, unbelievable! Same with the frittura, best yet. Super super recommended! My boyfriend wants to go back to there again tomorrow!!

Best food of our entire trip! The octopus carpaccio was out of this world, the fish ravioli amazing and the cod fish perfectly cooked. Loved this place. Too bad we were only here for one day :-). Lovely staff as well by the way. Maybe some small recommendations: chairs were not too comfortable and please invest in a children's chair. But it's details. The food is the most important.

A sympathetic restaurant along a narrow alley. Very friendly and welcoming service. Covered terrace/glass room. So rarely do I find a restaurant in Italy that offers vegetable soup for lunch - my favorite. For those who don't like it, there were many other options. The soup was really tasty and hearty and accompanied by croutons. I would come here again.

Buon ristorante, offre menù di carne e pesce ma, data la zona, il pesce è la scelta migliore. Mangiato molto bene. Consiglio la tartare di pesce (spada) e Macedonia di frutta. Prezzi adeguati, a mio parere, per antipasti e primi; un pelo cari i secondi a mio avviso. Prezzo indicativo 30/40€ per 2 portate acqua e caffè. Carta dei vini curata ma non economica. Possibilità di prendere vino spillato in caraffa. Acqua caffè e i piatti delle foto, totale 65€. Personale cordiale, simpatico e disponibile. Se siete in zona ve lo consiglio.

Una certezza!.... Ristorante a conduzione familiare...i titolari, persone squisite, ti fanno sentire come a casa...poi c'è Marco che nn ti fa mancare mai nulla in tavola!

Mains of pasta dishes with fish. 1 vegetarian option and a meat option (burger) recommended because its in the old walls but the terrace is spacious with confortable seats in the shade in a very hot day. Staff was great and they are dog friendly.

Delicious seafood in a slightly recessed setting. Lunch for two in September. We enjoyed scallops, tuna grilled to perfection snd the best spaghetti frutti di mare ever. The house wine was also a good option. Thanks to the team for being friendly and accommodating.

I piatti apparentemente sembrano buoni ma le cozze non sono pulite bene, hanno ancora attaccato il bisso. Gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare sono molto salati e troppo carichi di spezie. La frittura per due è con troppe acciughe e salatissima.

La location è molto carina ed anche il servizio è buono, manca però il rapporto qualità/prezzo in alcuni piatti; le trofie al pesto non sono un granché e il prezzo è troppo alto. Rimandati a settembre.....

Bel ristorantino come location sia interna che esterna. Lato cibo direi rapporto qualità / quantità / prezzo abbastanza sbilanciata ... abbiamo preso un fritto per due normalissimo, qta' essenziale per non dire poca con dentro anche le verdure fritte .. mah ! (un bel 18€ a testa ) + due dolci anche buoni ma che si vedevano con la lente di ingrandimento .. un bel 7 € ciascuno.. insomma 2 fritti 2 dolci 2 caffè e mezzo vino sfuso 67€.. un po' troppo. io non ci tornerei .

Sono stato ieri presso il ristorante Medusa in occasione della festa della Madonna Bianca. Abbiamo preso due fritturine miste, più verdure che pesce, due quartini di vino della casa,un insalatina, e 6 cozzine ripiene. Totale 86,50. Cibo era buono ma le quantità misere. Dico 6 mini cozze per 20 euro mi sembra eccessivo. Colpa mia che non ho dato retta al mio istinto

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff seemed bored and uninterested. The octopus salad appetizer was spoiled and had a terrible smell, which set negative expectations for the coming plates. The fried seafood and vegetables were saturated with oil, making them difficult to digest. While the other dishes were acceptable, they were nothing special. This was the worst dining experience we had during our two weeks in Italy.

Small portions and overpriced. 6 small raviolis for 16 €, two portions of frutti di mare came on one plate and was not enough for 2 people, but still it costs 16€/spagetti as well…taste was fine but we left the place still hungry. Do not recommend.

Nice setting and waiters, but small portions (spaghetti with scampis = 2 scampis, just enough to claim the plural „s“ and withot real taste), pesto way below expectations, seafood was good, but again very small portions. Hurts to say, but one of the few disappointing restaurants we have visited in Italy so far. Overall below average - try elsewhere.
