One of my favorite bars! If not the best! You definitely won't find a better one in Carignano. The girls are incredibly sweet and kind. They always have a smile on their faces, and that goes a long way. I often stop by just for a coffee, and it's always a pleasure to chat with them. Excellent pastries at a more than fair price, like the coffee, which still costs €1, a feature that's hard to find these days... hahaha. Fantastic sandwiches, delicious freshly squeezed orange juice, made with real oranges, not watered down like in most bars. I'd say only positive things. Plus, the place is spacious and very cute, and they also have a very comfortable outdoor terrace.

We stopped here by chance for lunch while wandering around Genoa. And we did really well. The food was delicious and fresh, the wine we ordered was also very tasty and the view of the basilica was priceless. The waitress Monica was amazing, even though neither of us spoke the same language, thanks to her efforts and the phone, we all got exactly what we wanted. The desserts were also delicious.

Colazione di San Valentino con mia moglie, locale carino, che si è sforzato nell'addobbare in tema della festa degli innamorati, non scontato. Abbiamo preso due brioches e due caffè: entrambe le brioches, al pistacchio e alla crema, erano decisamente buone, sia per l'impasto che per la crema e pistacchio. Insomma, direi promosso. Totale in due 5,2€ direi ok!

Insomma il servizio lascia un po' a desiderare. La signora si dà molto da fare, il resto del personale è un po' pigro. La clientela è non sempre molto educata ma questo ovviamente non dipende dai proprietari o dal personale

The last time I went for an aperitivo years ago, it was a buffet; with social distancing measures, it's become less common... the aperitivo's accompanying dish is still generous: in the photo, for two, an alcoholic cocktail, €10 each.

Purtroppo gli antichi fasti del quasi glorioso King's Pub possono solo essere rievocati volgendo il pensiero al passato. Ciononostante, va detto, anche la nuova gestione, oramai collaudata da qualche tempo, riesce ad avere una sua amplia clientela, e difficilmente lo si può vedere poco frequentato, giacché il locale piace a molti giovani. Per quanto mi riguarda, però, forse tra le bruschette peggiori mai assaggiate, insipide, zeppe di aglio, scondite e con un pane davvero troppo raffermo. Discreta invece la pizza margherita servita quale aperitivo, ed abbastanza cortese il personale. Letteralmente innanzi alla basilica di Carignano. Bus 35 e 35 sbarrato.

Sono passata per una colazione. Ho preso un deca e un cavolino che purtroppo era durissimo perché la bignola era vecchia e da pasticcera me ne intendo quando l’ho comunicato invece che sostituire il prodotto mi è stato detto che era impossibile, l’ho lasciato sul bancone andandomi a sedere e nessuno mi è venuto al tavolo a portarmi o almeno a chiedermi dell’altro . Arrivo alla cassa e mi stava facendo pagare 2 EURO PER IL CAVOLINO VECCHIO!!!!

Fake speed dating, they take money for nothing, they already know how many people will show up, and if you show up 10 minutes late, they won't let you in unless you answer. Avoid this environment. You're clowns. I don't recommend it to anyone. It's an act. There's nothing serious about it. You're just stage actors.

Excellent location, very central. Unfortunately, this privilege isn't appreciated by the staff, who degrade the place with their poor manners. They're next to the Corallo cinema; if only they knew how to make the most of this opportunity, perhaps it would become a top-flight venue. We're beyond relegation here. What a shame.

1 PM... I ask for an aperitif... they bring it to the table, after a while I ask if they'll bring me something to eat, the girl at the counter tells me that I SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR IT FIRST! Well, I think maybe they're busy in the kitchen, even though SHE's the one who should have told me they weren't serving aperitifs at that time. Looking around, I see they have focaccia, toast, sandwiches, and pizzas, but no one wants to give me anything. Only when I'm annoyed do they offer to give me chips and peanuts, which I refuse because I'm scolded for not asking. In this place, the aperitif service is only available in the evening, you know, and no one will ever cut you a piece of focaccia... shameful.
