The reviews do not do this place justice! It is 10/10 and by far the best meal we had in Lagos!! Make sure you arrive around 5:30pm if you want an early dinner otherwise you could be waiting over an hour in the line, but it is well worth the wait! Loved every second of our meal here.

An incredible Italian dining experience! Pomò truly delivers authentic flavors that make you feel like you're dining in the heart of Italy. We started with the tris of appetizers - a perfect introduction to their fresh, high-quality ingredients. For the main course, we had the pasta pistachio e burrata and the pasta pomodoro, parmigiano e basilico - both were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. We ended with a classic tiramisu, which was light, creamy, and the perfect finish to a fantastic meal. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with just the right touch of elegance. If you love real Italian food, Pomò is a must-visit in Lagos. Exceptional from start to finish!

We waited for two hours, but we only realized it was that long when we sat down because we were having a drink and chatting during that time. A person who understands they have to wait and is okay with it, I think they won’t complain because it’s simply not their fault that the place is always busy. When we sat down, we were served quickly and the food came soon after as well. We loved it. I’ve been coming here since they opened, and the food keeps getting tastier. The place is super cozy and romantic. I definitely recommend it, but if you have little patience or get grumpy when you’re hungry, I suggest going somewhere with a reservation 😂

The food here is absolutely amazing! We got a few of the mains amongst ourselves but the rigatoni carbonara and pappardelle ragu stood out as showstoppers. Definitely make sure you have room for dessert while you’re here. We ordered a traditional tiramisu and the pistachio tiramisu. 100% would recommend that people stop by, definitely worth the wait.

Amazing italian place from Puglia, no reservations, so you must go very early and expect big line ups, I waited 1 hour and 40 minutes, lots of food, variety of dishes and everything was very tasty, the tiramisú is their best dessert, you cannot miss it! Totally recommended spot!

You must go here! A family favourite of ours especially their cheese board and truffle pasta are our favourites. Yes you may need to queue to go but it is worth planning a day around it is that good. We love the interior like an Italian deli too and it’s so fun to watch them slice the meat for the charcuterie board as well when they get ordered or run out. Such authentic food where you can’t really go wrong. We often have to take some home as it is a lot of food but amazing getting the great food the day after too (it also feels wrong not to have some of their tiramisu as it is also really good).

We sat at 12.35 pm at restaurant opening time for linch on Tuesday and received order at 1.20 pm. For whatsoever reasons thats a huge waiting time. Apart from that what a freaking awesome tagliatelle truffle pasta. I would had said worth the wait if the wait was a little less. Bought even a box of truffle pasta home made box. Very authentic food taste and i would definitely recommend and will visit again in the hope of a different waiting time but just the same taste!

While visiting downtown Lagos we stumbled on a long line at this Italian restaurant. Next day we decided to check it out during the day with hope for a shorter line. We arrived at 12:40, several people were already there. It took 1 hour to get a table for 2 of us. Very small place. Service was relatively fast and friendly. Food was good, but not amazing. I am sure everyone has a different taste, but for us 1 hour wait was not worth it. P.S. Tiramisu is absolutely must try! It was absolutely delicious even the next day. We brought it home with us.

The food was very good, especially the octopus pasta, if you like seafood, but even the lasagna was delish. I got the mushroom pasta which was sort of bland but I was kind of expecting it with that sort of dish. The focaccia completa was good, more like pizza less like focaccia but they loaded up the toppings. Alas the service left more to be desired, it took forever for them to ask us for drinks, we never got actual menus, and we didn’t know about their specials until after ordering.

For our last night in Lagos, we decided to try Pomo as the daily queue piqued our interest. The menu, as well as the specials, looked enticing and we were very excited to taste the food. The dishes were reasonably priced, and quite tasty. Moreover, the portion sizes were great, however, the service left us slightly disappointed with our experience. As two servers working in the restaurant industry, we felt as though the staff was cold and inattentive throughout… May have been a one-off, however, it did not feel worth the 40 minute wait, as other spots in the city offered faster and far friendlier service during our stay. This is not to discourage customers, the food was good, but something to keep in mind if you are debating other options, in the face of a long wait.
