Dario's aperitifs are fabulous, the prices are reasonable, and Dario is truly an excellent bartender. Not even the most renowned bars in the city center can make such varied and delicious aperitifs. I recommend trying them, you won't want to leave. 🍸👍❣️

Excellent bar in the Molassana area, spacious and welcoming. I've been there several times, and the aperitifs are particularly excellent: not only was the service friendly and very quick, but the portions are truly generous. The aperitif included chips, pretzels, pizzas, bruschetta, cured meats, spicy olives, a small pasta dish, cuculli (or frisceau), fried meatballs, and fried panissa. For an additional €5, you could choose from a mix of three tartares (each with a different seasoning, but all delicious and fresh) or polenta with wild boar sauce. The extensive cocktail selection is also a plus. Breakfast is also truly excellent: delicious cappuccinos and coffees, tasty savory croissants, and a wide variety in general. The bar is also excellent for a quick lunch: the menu changes daily, and every offering, both for starters and main courses, is excellent. Update; I've been going there for a year now: the dishes are always delicious, varied, and the staff are friendly and you grow to love them. Truly the best!

Whenever I'm in the area, I always go there for lunch after discovering this bar. They have a wide selection of excellent homemade dishes, including traditional cuisine (stockfish, mushroom and sausage lasagna, and delicious tripe, to name a few). The staff is always super attentive and friendly, the service is fast and professional, and the prices are excellent. They accept tickets. Highly recommended.

4.5 for every item. For me, this is the best, simply because the highest rating is 5, which equates to perfection. Unfortunately, this is hard to find because there shouldn't be even the slightest flaw. This isn't a criticism of the place (it would lose my excellent rating), but a small (and I stress small) flaw could prevent it from reaching the top. Personal opinion: very positive, but aside from this (I repeat, personal), I highly recommend breakfast, a quick lunch, and especially an aperitif. Prices are normal.

Their cuisine is of a high standard and rigorous. I can confidently say, without fear of contradiction, that at Bar Alfredo you can experience the deepest and most authentic nuances of Ligurian tradition. Personally, I tried the following dishes and was not disappointed:  Penne al Pesto;  Roast Beef;  Baked Potatoes;  Torta della suocera (homemade tart). When the penne al pesto arrived on my table, I immediately smelled the intoxicating aroma of basil. My heart filled with joy and my stomach with hunger. It had been a long time since I'd smelt such delicious smells and flavors. Honestly, their "homemade" pesto really won me over and left me feeling full. A perfect combination of basil, garlic, and oil. Everything was perfectly balanced and without any excess saltiness or acidity. The Roast Beef was very fresh and tasty, practically perfect! The potatoes were excellent quality, sweet and soft on the palate, although I would have preferred them with that charred finish that is a hallmark of roasted potatoes, or, if you prefer, baked potatoes. The "mother-in-law's cake" was delicious: the shortcrust pastry was perfect (it didn't crumble under my fork) and the jam was absolutely top-notch. It goes without saying that all the food was incredibly fresh! The house wine (or bulk wine) is very good (Morellino di Scansano). If you're looking to upgrade, I recommend purchasing any bottle from their wine list, as you certainly won't go wrong. The prices are absolutely average (or even a bit on the low side), especially considering the quality of the food you'll find in the dishes served at the table. The fixed menu costs only 10 euros and includes: first course + second course + side dish (drinks not included). Not bad in Genoa! Personally, I spent €17, adding ¼ bottle of Morellino di Scansano and the mother-in-law's cake. The service was attentive, and the waitress was incredibly friendly, hospitable, helpful, and knowledgeable. Above all, she knows a thing or two about "Customer Care" (or Guest Care), which is a huge deal in Genoa! Their staff works (truly) with passion to satisfy every customer and see them smile! Speaking of the place: it's not very large, but it's bright and, above all, very clean. The atmosphere is informal, and the clientele is mostly made up of workers on their lunch break and, fortunately, some locals. Peccato è cambiato non è più quello di tempo fa'. Si sente dagli aperitivi. Non quelli soliti, peggiorati e più cari. Poi purtroppo vedendo una scena disgustosa fatta dal cameriere coi piattini che servono direi uno schifo. Scena che vista dai Nas avrebbero chiuso all'istante. Mi spiace davvero ci andavo volentieri, ma dopo questo direi anche no.

Nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience today. I chose all the dishes from the set menu minus the drink. When I got the bill, I expected to pay for a set menu plus the extra drink. Instead, I paid à la carte. It's not the extra €10 that would have made a difference. I would have expected something else anyway. But that's okay 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm sorry for the negative review I have to leave. I went with a friend for an aperitivo. At first I found two small caps and said okay... I continued eating and then found another. I couldn't stand it anymore. Anything is acceptable, but three caps is disgusting.
