What a beautiful spot. Stopped by after a stroll from the funicular in Brunate. What a view! Lovely service. We ordered a beer, wine and bruschetta to enjoy whilst we lapped up the view. Stunning!!! Great prices and the couple who run the cafe are super nice as well. It also just happens to have the coolest cat in Como!!!

This cafe is in the wright spot and the owners are complementing the views with a lot of good stuff. We have bruschetta, limoncello spritz, lemon sorbet and a delicious espresso. Nice music in the air. Old but very appropriate. Clean everywhere. Good service. Stunning views. Enjoy!

The best panoramic view in all of Brunate! We did not stay in the rooms, but had I known, we definitely would have, cuz it had so much charm & again the view 🤩 My husband & I walked up to Brunate from Como City & kept walking to stumble across the Cafe here. It was the PERFECT place to relax, eat Gelato & have a Limoncello Spritz, both with & without alcohol 😎 We could have stayed there for hours just enjoying the view & each other's company. The couple who were working were pleasant & attentive.

We stumbled upon this place quite by accident. We heard Billie Holiday's music playing in the distance, which drew us in, and although Google said it was closed, we found the restaurant open. The hosts were very friendly, open, and attentive. The food was delicious and the view was spectacular. I warmly recommend it to anyone who happens to be in the area! Greetings from Hungary! P.S.: Maybe we'll meet at Szimpla Kert sometime :D

Probably my favourite restaurant in the world all things considered. The food was exceptional. Fresh, homemade italian cuisine at an almost unreasonably good price with an amazing view of lake como. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. I cannot recommend this place enough, 11/10!

we found this little spot by chance after taking the funicular and walking up to the fountain and the view point. the view from this place is incredible. the couple managing the place is so lovely and friendly. there are only a dozen of tables but theyre worth the wait. eating with this view is priceless. food was very good too and surprisingly at very reasonable prices. those types of remote spots with few tables usually inflate their prices to compensate. not here. absolutely recommend

This is a fabulous place for a meal over looking Lake Como. We had to wait but it was well worth it. My son said: “The bruschetta was the best first bite of food I’ve ever eaten.” The food is classic, made with great care and ingredients. Owners are delightful. We had a wonderful few hours enjoying their beautiful food and place.

Take the funicular railway, make the trip….this is literally a must. Spectacular views over Lake Como to Chiasso, with lovely food, lovely people and perfect background music.

Abbiamo usufruito del bar per riposarci dopo una lunga passeggiata tra chiese e ville liberty. Il b&b e il bar godono di un panorama incantevole. La toilette è pulita, i gestori del locale sono gentili,e ci si può accomodare sotto gli ombrelloni sul balcone a mangiare un gelato (confezionato) senza sovrapprezzo.

Splendido posto per una pausa al tramonto, piccolo locale, con piccoli tavoli, cibo discreto, gentile il personale, da tenere meglio il bagno con pulizia finestre!

Il personale non è particolarmente cordiale così come il servizio non è granché. La vista è nella media e l'unico lato positivo è un gatto che ci ha fatto compagnia.

Bella vista lago Panino nella norma Tagliere affettati (con riduzione per allergie) e triangolini di mais(alcuni possi) un po' caro. Attesa davvero davvero troppa!!!! Il che mi porta a dare solo due stelle

Esperienza deludente. Il personale si è mostrato poco cordiale e sorprendentemente sgarbato sin dal primo approccio. Nessuna attenzione al cliente, né un minimo di cortesia. Un clima poco accogliente che rende difficile anche solo voler tornare. Decisamente da rivedere l’atteggiamento verso chi entra.

Quando siamo arrivati, tutti i (pochi) tavoli erano pieni. Attendiamo educatamente fuori, e quando si libera un tavolo entro dentro chiedendo alla signora se possiamo accomodarci, risposta: "eh guardi, ma c'è un molto da aspettare". "Guardi signora, siamo i primi e s'è liberato un tavolo". Attendiamo al tavolo, e la signora ci chiede quanti siamo. Vedendola scocciata rispondo 4 (il bambino lo teniamo sulle ginocchia). La signora risponde: "eh, penso proprio che non ho le sedie, ne ho solo 3". "Signora, guardi ci sono 2 sedie lì su quel tavolino da 2". "Ah si". La signora allora va DENTRO e magicamente trova una sedia, lasciando il tavolino da 2 così com'era". Ci porta le liste e prende l'ordinazione. Chiedo se porta qualcosa da stuzzicare per l'aperitivo. Risposta: "Nooo, tutte le persone qui stanno mangiando; e poi c'è molto da aspettare". Scoraggiati chiediamo almeno delle patatine per il bambino. Avrei preso 2 bruschette o 1 pizza, ma ho avuto paura di disturbare. Dopo 20 minuti di attesa al sole, arrivano i 4 drink e 1 pacchetto di patatine sigillato. Restiamo di stucco....di solito nei bar le patatine vengono servite una ciotola/scodella. Una brutta scoperta questo posto. Magari ci ha trattato così perché avevamo un bambino di 5 anni, non saprei. Veramente sconsolati dalla scarsa ospitalità e professionalità

Siamo entrati per prendere due caffè ma lo staff si è mostrato subito indisponente e confuso, per niente accoglienti. Non abbiamo ricevuto i nostri caffè e andati via a mani vuote.

Tutto riservato e non fanno da asporto. Oltretutto sono arrivati due stranieri un secondo dopo di noi e gli hanno fatti sedere al posto nostro. Ovviamente in queste location danno fastidio le famiglie con i bambini piccoli

Umiltà e attenzione al cliente dovrebbero essere la base per chi fa questo lavoro. Qui sono mancati fin dal primo approccio al locale.

“Tragic food. A disgrace to Italian food culture. The pizza could be used instead of a flying saucer. The lasagna is just a name, nothing like the real dish. Even with few customers, we waited half an hour for the ‘pizza’. The tables wobble, and while cutting the hard, dried-out ‘pizza’, the moving table tipped over the only good thing – the beer. Very beautiful scenic panorama. Come only for the view and the coffee. I do not recommend eating here.”

Only one thing for which you could come her is great view and a drink, the food is absolute disaster. Pizza couldnt be called a pizza at all, lasagnia was terible. We’re only glad for the view and peroni thats it realy disapointed, and everyone who writes great food, did you come to italy for food or what?
