Oggi ho avuto il piacere di pranzare in questo locale che mi era stato consigliato da un’amica fidata. Esperienza indimenticabile: una vista mozzafiato, piatti superbi e un ottimo servizio al tavolo caratterizzano questo locale, rendendolo una tappa obbligatoria per tutti coloro che apprezzano la buona cucina, la tranquillità e i panorami mozzafiato. Tagliere di salumi buonissimo, spaghetti al pistacchio e burrata che si scioglievano in bocca e tiramisù così cremoso da risultare uno dei migliori mai mangiati nella mia vita. Esperienza consigliatissima!

Ci siamo fermati dopo la salita verso il Faro in quanto necessitava scaldarsi in una giornata piuttosto fresca ed uggiosa senza il sole promesso dal meteo (+3°)... Ambiente accogliente e servizio molto gentile. Vista meravigliosa. Ci voleva.

Ottima posto, con staff molto efficiente e cordiale ,locale informale , con menù tipico da montagna con formaggi e salumi alpini, tartufo, porcini, e pesce del lago , zuppa o crostini vegetariani…. O piatti rivisitati tipo le pettine al taroz, c’è un po’ per tutti i gusti ! Ci sono stata i primi di gennaio , dopo una passeggiata con visita al punto panoramico del faro Voltiano,il locale era addobbato e aveva un angolo con rivendita di cibo artigianale come idea regalo . Consiglio di prenotare ! E di sicuro tornerò a provare altro!

Ristorante davvero buonissimo! Ottimi i piatti come gli spaghetti al datterino, il filetto con patate, le tre bruschette e i dolci!! Atmosfera rilassante e tutto davvero delizioso. Complimenti anche al personale! La nostra cameriera è stata davvero gentile e impeccabile. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

What a treat!! We hiked up to the lighthouse and stopped in Mama Gina for lunch. A pleasant surprise! Loved everything we ate and only wish it was easier to get to as we would have eaten there again! Highly recommend eating at this quaint spot overlooking Como!

Amazing service, especially the driver Y. and the waitress Giorgia. Food was amazing. For dinner, we ordered bruschetta, lasagna, short rib and polenta, and meatballs. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. The driver picked us up and drove us back to the funiculare. 10/10 service. Thank you ladies.

An amazing restaurant with fantastic food and a panoramic view of Lake Como! The Gnocchi was particularly delicious and our server was polite, friendly and very helpful. We accidentally found this place after walking to the Farro Voltiano but would recommend making a specific trip and planning to stop here.

This place has Amazing view! Also, We had no time and ask if they can prepare food for 20 min, and they did! Also, they offered to transfer us back to the funicular! We took lasagna, BUT ravioli with burrata and pistachio was trully awesome!

We stumbled upon this place by chance around 11:00 AM , and it turned out to be such a lovely surprise! The outdoor seating had a gorgeous view, and the atmosphere was incredibly warm and cozy. The staff member who helped us was very polite and patient; he even suggested a dessert and picked the coffee for us! I tried a latte with no sweeteners for the first time ever… and to my surprise, I loved it 😂 As for the dessert, I believe it was an apricot tart — absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a calm, beautiful experience. Definitely recommend!

A great stop on your way to the panaromic viewpoint of Faro Voltiano, especially if you trekked up to the top. The service was nice and the view was excellent. We went there relatively early, and just had a small appetizer, coffee and drinks. The servers were quite professional and the prices were also reasonable

Super place to visit when in Como. You can take the funicular up to Brunate..There is a bus that can take you to the lighthouse. Next to it you find this restaurant with the most amazing view. Service is very nice, the staff is very friendly. Best view and a must see! 😍

Great restaurant - location, service and food was all top notch! View from the terrace may be the best of all views at lake Como. Even with our picky kids, everyone finishes their meals! Definitely a recommend! Our waiters - Lotenzo and Laura were awesome - very friendly and accommodating!

We found this place on a very long evening walk and following reviews, but it wasn't possible to get a table without reservation that night. We decided to give it another chance and booked for the next evening and it was a beautiful experience. It was quite calm and quiet, very peaceful with stunning views above lake Como and tasty food that invites you already from the entrance of the hotel. The infinity pool was gorgeous to see in the evening, I would love to come back and stay at the hotel. We are not drinking so much and just ordered a glass of wine, not bad but wouldn't be my first choice. I tried the typical polenta which I usually don't like and it was probably the best I have tried. The best part of the experience was not the restaurant itself, but the surrounding nature which surprised us with few playing deers in the distance. I guess they appreciate the peace and silence around and I hope their environment stays untouched and unbothered in future. The restaurant is on the pricey side, I felt like it was worth it. We were there at the end of May and it gets noticeably chilly in the afternoon/evening.

Andati per festeggiare il mio compleanno, location gradevole con vista mozzafiato. Il servizio nella norma, personale cordiale e qualificato. Affianco al ristorante ampio parcheggio a pagamento. L'unica pecca di questo posto è che per accedere al ristorante c'è una bella scalinata in discesa e con il passeggino non è stato semplice. Consigliato

La location si commenta da sola: a dir poco stupenda, con una vista lago pazzesca. Tagliere di salumi e formaggi buono, ma niente di troppo speciale. Prezzi turistici: per una bottiglia di vino ed un tagliere misto 30€ a persona. Bagni non proprio puliti.

Ristorante di montagna a Brunate all'interno di un hotel. Ci siamo trovati bene e abbiamo fatto una cena abbondante a base di carne e polenta. Servizio ottimo, il persone è stato gentilissimo!

We absolutely loved the view from ManaGina. We sat out on the terrace to eat overlooking the beautiful Lake Como. The pasta was good. Homemade every day. I had a pesto dish. My husband had pasta with black truffles and it was also very good. The service was really good. But by far the best thing is the view from this location. It’s absolutely breathtaking.

Excellent view of course, and dishes were great as well. We had the mama Gina pasta and beef cheeks with polenta, tiramisu for dessert. Cocktails tasted great. Our server Michelangelo was great super accommodating and nice ❤️ Highly recommend worth every penny!

My husband found this restaurant via a Google maps and we specially drove from Como up there . Apart from the fact that road to Brunate is horrible , curvy and narrow , you arrive there - the service and welcome is very mediocre. Before going up we checked if there is electric charging device for a car and it showed there was one . We have asked reception of hotel to charge a car at least for half an hour . First response - it’s only for hotel clients. But excuse me - who are the people who come up specially to have a lunch and spend money in the restaurant of your hotel ??!! Then apparently it was reserved for someone . Anyhow they started charging an hour later ( also note I have offered to pay to charge a car ) . We got served by 3 different people including reception lady. The service is far from being professional The lady was trying to push us to eat in the terrace ( no heating devices and it’s pretty chilly up there ) .then to have coffee there - so may be makes sense to have some heating lamps there ? Food - pretty average also , the ribs were fine , polenta mammagina was literally floating in oil ( yes I know it is full of cheese and should be a heavy cheesy dish ) but it should not be full of liquid oil . To sum up - never again and it is not worth the trouble of going there , plenty of nice places to eat around .

Bella la vista ma.... Bella la vista ma non ci siamo proprio. Abbiamo provato a prenotare ma ci hanno detto che non era possibile avere la sicurezza di avere il posto a ridosso della ringhiera poiché dipendeva dalla Quantità di clienti (non vedo connessioni dato che se uno prenota dovrebbe avere la precedenza, però capisco che possano essere delle regole della gestione)...siamo ad un venerdì di fine luglio Sfortunatamente una volta arrivati quelli con vista erano finiti e ci sediamo in seconda fila, però tempo 5 minuti si libera e ci fanno spostare: top magnifico super contenti e apprezziamo il gesto Veniamo poi al cibo e all'ordine. Cibo tutto sommato ok...nel senso che era nella media, il costo di per sé lo faceva l'ambiente e vista, altrimenti nulla di che Arriviamo al vino della casa...molto male come ci han detto anche le cameriere: era acidulo e l abbiamo fatto cambiare optando per due calici...non so se fosse aperto da un po quello della casa o altro, ma era davvero pessimo e di brutto gusto, acidulo appunto. Però professionali nel farlo cambiare e non chiedere un euro Finiamo l'antipasto (bruschette top) e dopo il secondo. Poi zero servizio dopo che abbiamo finito i secondi...abbiamo aspettato penso una buona mezz'ora in vano: volevamo il dolce ma nessuno ci è venuto a sparecchciare o chiedere (erano le 22 e altri 2 tavoli erano occupati con noi)...volevamo solo un dolcetto tiramisù ed un amaro, nulla di che...ma soprattutto soldi in più per il posto eh vabbe miei cari gestori peggio per voi Insomma...va bene la vista però a sto punto avrei preferito andare a quello accanto di ristorante che presenta il doppio del numero delle recensioni e che ci era stato consigliato Parcheggio un po piccolino e non si paga dopo le 20.00 Coperto 3€ Antipasto 12€ Primo 16€ Secondo 20€ Dolce non pervenuto lol Criteri di valutazione delle stelle si basano su Prenotazione, servizio, cibo, ambiente, esperienza in generale: questi i metri su cui baso la mia recensione

Sono stata in questo ristorante e, purtroppo, non posso che consigliarvi di evitarlo. Il vino che ci è stato servito era acido e difficilmente bevibile. I salumi, presentati come prosciutto di Parma, salame di cervo e cinghiale, erano tagliati in maniera spessa e di qualità più che discutibile. Lo spaghetto fatto in casa al pomodoro era completamente insapore, senza neppure un po’ di sale per dare un minimo di sapore. La tagliatella ai funghi porcini era un disastro: funghi surgelati usati al posto di quelli freschi, nonostante fosse stagione. Inoltre, ho trovato un insetto nel piatto, cosa che ho fatto notare al cameriere. La risposta? Nessuna scusa, ma la tagliatella è stata comunque addebitata nel conto. A proposito del servizio, il personale era incredibilmente incompetente. Il cameriere non parlava nemmeno una parola di italiano, il che ha reso ancora più frustrante l'intera esperienza. Quando siamo arrivati alla cassa, ci hanno biasimato per aver fatto notare i problemi, senza offrire nemmeno una scusa o un rimedio. In conclusione, un'esperienza deludente e da non ripetere.
