Classical 'milanese' bar with a very nice atmosphere.

Un caffè parigino a Milano. La Belle Aurore è uno dei miei preferiti per la pausa pranzo, la scelta è dal menù del giorno, e non c'è niente di più, spesso sono finiti i piatti, e spesso c'è da aspettare per serdersi, detto ciò lo consiglio vivamente. Bisogna accontentarsi, ma qui non c'è niente di non autentico, l'atmosfera è genuinamente radical chic.

Friday night, the place was clearly crowded but not chaotic or excessively loud. Happy hour with friends was a bit limited due to the lack of space, but bearable. The appetizers were good, with snacks and chips that were neither good nor bad.

I happened upon this place for a pit stop during the demonstration related to the national strike. I needed a coffee (and more, hehe). Well, the guy who served me was very nice and cheerful, the coffee was really good, and it cost only €1.00, something I'm really struggling to find these days. Recommended!

4 euro di coca cola, servizio abbastanza sbrigativo e scadente, forniscono proprio due stuzzichini come aperitivo. Location carina, interno molto caratteristico

It's a historic place, and has even been the setting for some commercials. Very, very busy. The drinks weren't exceptional. Aperitivo was served with just two popcorns and poor quality chips. I'm not a fan of the aperitivo concept, so popular in some places, but qualitatively speaking, better drinks and a couple of measly chips and quality olives wouldn't be so bad. The night I went, it was really crowded; it was hard to talk. This isn't a place I'd happily return to.

Luogo storico ma senza il vibe di un tempo, qualità di cibi e bevande non memorabile, il servizio può essere gentile o scostante a seconda dell' umore dei gestori. Arredamento immutato nei secoli, clientela assai variegata, va bene se abitate in zona, altrimenti non c'è una ragione per arrivare sin là.

Breackfast: defrozen croissant, cold no tasty espresso, bleach smell all around. The cafe is really stylish and nice in itself but people told me is better for lunch and apero rather than for a morning cood caffè. It's an historical bar in Milano but the quality of coffee is very low and prices a bit higher than others.

Abito nella stessa via e sono stata diverse volte a mangiare senza i miei figli (8 e 6 anni). Oggi era il Primo giorno di scuola e siamo voluti andare con loro. Ci hanno trattato malissimo, i bambini non sono assolutamente ben accetti. Un posto storico dove si mangia bene ma dove non tornerò mai più perché il rispetto e la cortesia anche verso dei bambini non può essere facoltativa.

A large vase placed on the sidewalk to block access to about 10 possible parking spaces under the trees. A great way to alienate the neighborhood. A very selfish choice... what a shame. Really a shame...
