Cena romantica con il mio ragazzo, in una vietta laterale fuori dal caos. Locale piccolo all’interno ma con terrazza e giardino esterni. La signora che lo gestisce è molto cordiale, così come il resto dello staff. Piatti ottimi e curati, buona scelta di vini. È stata una serata davvero piacevole. Consiglio di prenotare.

Andare Al Torcol è sempre un'esperienza positiva. I piatti sono ben curati e con ingredienti di prima scelta. Ottime sia le proposte di pesce che di carne. Il personale è gentile e cordiale. Se si va d'estate consiglio il giardino esterno. Discorso a parte per il vino: la carta dei vini è ampia e dà largo spazio ai vini locali e bresciani (come dovrebbero fare altri ristoranti). Praticamente tutte le regioni italiane sono presenti. Il titolare, Rocco, ricerca con cura cantine particolari e vini interessanti. Se volete fare un'esperienza unica chiedetegli la possibilità di abbinare ad ogni piatto un vino, lui saprà sicuramente consigliarvi al meglio. Da ultimo i dolci davvero buoni, menzione particolare la frolla con cremoso di mandorle e salsa ai lamponi. Da provare.

Bel posticino, il mio compagno ha preso gli spaghetti alla chitarra ed erano molto buoni, i miei paccheri al nero di seppia un po’ meno, ma per gusto personale, non perché avessero qualcosa che non andava! Ho solo scelto male. Il secondo, grigliata di pesce di lago, veramente ottimo, buonissimo. Tiramisù fantastico. Personale gentilissimo, disponibile e molto preparato.

In pieno centro storico di Sirmione, in una via trasversale lontana dal caos, si nasconde questa meravigliosa Osteria. Il personale è gentilissimo, attento ma mai invadente..ti consigliano nella scelta dei piatti e il servizio è di qualità come i piatti che servono. Il coperto costa 3 euro, ma è del tutto giustificato da tavola apparecchiata con tovagliato e soprattutto cestino del pane (con grissini, due tipi di pane, taralli) accompagnato da un ottimo olio extravergine del Garda lasciato a disposizione. Consigliatissimo il Luccio con polenta e i Bigoli con sarde, uvetta e pinoli.. Da ritornarci assolutamente.

Capitata per caso in questa osteria nascosta in un pergolato curato e fresco. Servizio attento e discreto, piatti e vini spiegati e consigliati in modo gentile e paziente. Degustazione di olio, pesce di lago del giorno cucinato in modo perfetto!

Il ristorante offre la possibilità di mangiare all'aperto, in un delizioso giardino. I camerieri sono gentili e professionali. I vini e piatti (soprattutto a base di pesce) sono gustosi e valorizzano i prodotti del territorio. È molto apprezzata la degustazione di olio e la possibilità di accompagnare il pesce con diversi tipi di sale. Si respira un'atmosfera rilassante e tranquilla, anche grazie alla musica di sottofondo. Il prezzo è nella norma. Consigliato a chi piace mangiare in tranquillità assaporando i piatti della tradizione. Ideale da provare in una giornata soleggiata stando nel giardino.

Weekend romantico alle terme, decidiamo di fermarci in questa piccola osteria, per nostra grande fortuna avevano posto! Abbiamo diviso una tartare di fassona condita con radicchio, noci ed una spuma di formaggio delicatissima, dopo abbiamo fatto una degustazione di formaggi della zona anche questi strepitosi ! Dopo io ho continuato con un ribeye cotto al sangue con funghi e patate mentre mia moglie ha optato per i bigoli con crema al gorgonzola e speck (strepitosi), il tutto degustando un ottimo lugana consigliato dal cameriere. Alla fine di abbiamo preso anche un dolce diviso in due, devo dire molto ma molto particolare..se dovessimo, un giorno, tornare da queste parti sicuramente prenoterei in questa magnifica osteria..se dovessi davvero trovare una pecca…forse l’unica di tutta la cena è che non ci è stato chiesto se volessimo un amaro o altro per concludere la cena.. siete un ottima scoperta! Finalmente in ristorante non turistico. Non pensate di trovare frittura mista o spaghetti allo scoglio da battaglia, bensì tagliolini fatti in casa con crema di basilico, granella di pistacchio e capesante o una bella grigliata di pesce misto di lago accompagnato con degustazione di sali aromatici! Tutto fresco e buonissimo. Molto gradita anche la bottiglia di olio del Garda e il piattino dove intigolare le fette di pane. Servizio abbastanza veloce, personale attento e gentile. Se ci fosse stata la vista sul lago sarebbe stato il top. Belle esperienza.

The whole experience was amazing. I would describe this as a journey through Italy’s cuisine. Food was delicious, wine list curated. Service was great and people were lovely. Can’t recommend it enough especially the pasta and sea food. Please do yourself a favour and try the local specialties: - Olive oil - definitely one of them, you can buy it as well; - Aperitivo - Mandarinello - the best way to finish your meal.

This place was truly exceptional! The charming garden setting created the perfect atmosphere for what turned out to be one of our favorite meals during our entire stay in Sirmione. The food was absolutely delicious - every dish showcased authentic Italian flavors that were both refined and comforting. As for the portions, they were perfectly sized in the true Italian tradition. I've noticed some reviews mentioning "small portions," but honestly, I think those perspectives come from travelers accustomed to the enormous servings typical in places like the US and UK. Italian dining culture is built around savoring multiple courses, each offering different textures and flavors that complement one another. It's about quality over quantity, and the experience of progressing through antipasti, primi, secondi, and dolci. Each course at AI Torcol was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It was easily among the best culinary experiences we had in Sirmione! If you're visiting the area and want an authentic Italian meal in a lovely setting, I can't recommend this place enough! Other details: If going during summer time, don't forget your personal battery operated fan (You will need it everywhere you eat in Italy, it is just too hot during the summer) We were 2 ppl, shared a starter, shared a pasta, and had a main each, 2 glasses of wine each, 2 litters of water, 1 espresso and a grappa, our bill was 150 euros

On my trips to Italy, I found this cosy osteria many many years ago. Since the opening times are limited, I visited it now after about 9 years. And it has not changed for me. Cosy family atmosphere, very good food, wine and spirits. Professional. A little pricier than one would want, but it is a popular tourist destination in beautiful city, so no wonder. And the amaro as digestive was outstanding!

Come here for a relaxing and delicious meal away from the congested areas of town. The menu is simple but delicious. We opted to sit outside in their covered garden terrace area across from their restaurant. The servers are polite, welcoming and attentive. Our food was spaced out in a very relaxed manner which we enjoyed but may not be for everyone. Italian (European in general) cuisine is meant to be savored not rushed. Reservations are recommended. It did get very busy after 730/800p.

We were greeted very nicely. The staff quickly found us a table and gave us cards, presented what dish was currently "on offer". As an appetizer we ordered tartare - the waitress asked if we wanted to share it, which pleasantly surprised us. We got two servings of tartare with broad beans and chopped onions, and four types of salt - regular, spicy, smoked and (I think) with herbs. We ordered turbot with asparagus and duck breast. Both the appetizer and the dishes we ordered were really delicious. We had planned to order dessert, but we ate up the portions we were served and unfortunately we were not given the opportunity to taste the sweets on the menu. A place worth recommending!

Ristorante nel centro storico di sirmione, caratteristica salita in sanpietrini. Ho cenato all'esterno adiacente l'ingresso principale ma era possibile anche in una terrazza con oliveto annesso molto caratteristica. Le pietanze sono state preparate con cura ed esteticamente appariscenti. Molto buono é stato il luccio di mare e una orata alla griglia fenomenale. La carta dei vini era molto ampia. I prezzi sono alti ma adeguati alla concorrenza. Perianale gentile.

Ottimo il cibo, non il solito ristorante per turisti in centro storico. Per la nostra prima vacanza di coppia, io e il mio compagno abbiamo scelto di concludere il soggiorno con una cena in questo ristorante. L’atmosfera è molto romantica, perfetta per una serata intima. Ci hanno fatto accomodare nel giardino esterno davvero delizioso, tranquillo e curato e, a mio parere, molto più piacevole rispetto ai tavolini posizionati lungo la strada. Personale molto cordiale, disponibile e simpatico. Il piatto che ci ha colpiti di più è stato il mio primo: spaghetti cacio e pepe con granella di pistacchio e gambero rosso crudo – semplicemente eccezionale. Anche il secondo di carne e il tiramisù erano buoni, ma il primo è stato davvero memorabile.

Ho cenato in questo locale per cena al di sotto di un porticato davvero grazioso e caratteristico arredato con luci soffuse e piante in vaso. Gli antipasti di pesce erano molto buoni ed abbinavano gusti insoliti ma ognuno di essi era ben bilanciato. I primi ed il dolce per mio gusto erano buoni ma nella media. Complimenti allo staff per l’ottimo servizio che è stato cordiale, disponibile e attento a ogni necessità per tutta la serata. Il prezzo in linea con la qualità offerta.

Firstly I would like to commend the waitress that presented the dishes and wines very well, and had great suggestions for some local dishes. We tried several different starters and main dishes. Although the food was good, the only complaint was that everything lacked salt. And I say this as a person who never needs to add salt to food, but in this case it was necessary because the amount of it was below the normal level at which salt itself enhances the flavor of other ingredients in the dish.

The restaurant has a great outdoor garden area and the food was generally very good. All the dishes had an interesting twist. We tried the beef tartare accompanied by zucchini and four different salts (very good), tomato bigoli (simple yet fresh and tasty), spaghetti with pistachio cream and scallops (enjoyed this the most) and the turbot with watermelon salad (fish was cooked perfectly). The only real feedback is on the service - it was polite but it was hard to get the attention of staff and the pacing of the meals was slower than expected.

Food itself was also good, but I was quite surprised to find scales not be peeled off the fish (I had "lake Garda white fish"). Regarding the service. High hopes for this place after reading the reviews. Had a really tasty starter and my partner had a decent pasta but that’s where we should have stopped. I was recommended the fish of the day. I got excited and jumped straight on it. To my absolute disappointment when the dish landed on the table. Tiny bit of filet of some local white fish with serving of 2 different runny sauces. They called them purée but I’m not sure what purée it was. Fish dry, bland and absolutely tasteless “purée followed the suit” left £60 lighter and hungrier than when I arrived. Went for a pizza after. If you want to have a snack or on a serious diet this dish might be for you but for me as a main and all together was shocking. Been in Italy and a week now ate out 3 meals per day everyday and this has been the worst one so far. Staff really friendly and welcoming. But due to food I wouldn’t eat here again. Couple next to us left their entire dish and they had another complain about food while we were sat down for another table.

Beautiful garden tucked away that gives a cozy, intimate vibe. We had a nice time, with the scallop starter and the cacio e pepe pasta with raw shrimp being absolutely delicious. However, be aware that meat is not their speciality! The duck was served cold and when sent back to the kitchen, they just cooked it longer resulting in overcooked chewy meat- what a waste. The steak lacked any seasoning whatsoever. Tiramisu was nothing special, and wine pours are on the small side. Stick with the pasta and seafood dishes and avoid disappointment.
