I ordered a margherita pizza from here through Uber Eats, and I have to say... It was AMAZING. Their dough is a strong sourdough, and the sauce is simple and perfect. This pizza is exactly what you would expect it to be, and was solid enough to still be super delicious when delivered. I also got the Nutella pizza, and it was so good!!!! If I wanted to contend with 5th Ave, I bet it would be out of this world at the restaurant itself. (Also, I am not sure about this, but I swear this is the same food as a restaurant that used to be located in the shops behind the gym at Vanderbilt and Airport like 15yrs ago... This took me way back, and I appreciate that on a personal level.)

We visited La Trattoria on Christmas Eve this year- it was packed, but the service did not disappoint! Our server, Chanik, was very attentive, kind, and helpful. Our food and drinks came out quickly considering the restaurant was at full capacity. They had several specials that evening. We tried a burrata appetizer which was just okay- nothing to rave about. For the main course, my boyfriend and I split the chicken Parmesan special, sautéed spinach and asparagus. The chicken Parmesan was delicious! We both felt the dish was about as light as chicken Parmesan could get- lightly breaded and the pasta is house made 🤌🏼. The spinach and asparagus were fresh and perfectly cooked as well. My only complaint was the noise. Between the loud music and the crowd, my boyfriend and I felt like we were yelling at each other at a two person table. Other than that- we will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic dinner at La Tattoria last night. The atmosphere was lively and fun. Our server, Kelly, was great. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and suggested a wine that paired perfectly with our meal. The table-side Cacio Pepe with truffles and linguine mare were absolutely delicious. We began with perfectly cooked calamari and warm bread accompanied by their incredible olive oil, a simple start, but full of flavor. For our main course, we couldn’t resist the cacio e pepe prepared in the large wheel of cheese. It was impeccable, and I appreciated how respectfully they asked if we wanted to keep it traditional or add truffle. That attention to detail shows care for the customer and for the cuisine. We also ordered a Pizza Margherita, and as someone originally from Italy who lived in Rome and Naples, I can say it truly transported me back home… authentic, flavorful, and just like the ones I grew up with. For dessert, the tiramisù (made with fresh espresso) and for my wife the lemon sorbetto were the perfect finish… refreshing, authentic, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to Matteo, who took care of us with kindness and professionalism. If you’re looking for a place that makes you feel like you’re dining in Italy whether you’re in Naples, Florida or Naples, Italy, this is the spot!

We made a reservation online beforehand. So got right in when we arrived. It proceeded to get busier and busier, until finally there was a line out the door! The food was amazing...we had the eggplant parm, marg pizza, chicken marsala, bolengese, cacco y peppe...ALL FANTASTIC, tasty dishes ! Espresso shots after the meal, excellent! It got very loud and was crowded around 7pm....the birthday song was great :-)

I spent my b-day there and the team at La Trattoria was so sweet, knowledgeable, attentive and polite. Thank you to everyone who sang happy bday and got me a sweet treat. We definitely recommend their eggplant parmigiana (out of this world), polpette and their carbonara in the huge wheel of cheese, they do that in front of you and adds such an elevated touch. The freshly grated truffle was the cherry on top. We enjoyed ourselves so much. They will definitely shower you with fresh baked bread and perfect for scarpetta! We will be back :)

We are in town visiting and I went to Yelp looking for Italian cuisine. I spotted almost 2,000 5 star reviews and knew this was the place for dinner. The staff was friendly and I love a restaurant that is jumping My chicken parm was so flavorful and my wife had pasta with truffles in a cheese sauce that too was delicious. Please enjoy this place!

Katerin and the whole team were so attentive and welcoming. Even on a busy Saturday night the food was quick and the ambiance was fun. This is the best pizza we have had since gusta pizza in Florence. The carbonara and burrata were delicious as well. We would drive back to Naples just for another dinner! Thank you all!!

They had a live band which was pretty good, the environment was okay. Service was friendly but just ok. I ordered the lasagna and was not impressed. The linguine was ok. The pizza my brother ordered was nice and light but all the burnt parts on it killed any good flavors. Pricing was high for the quality. I would order the risotto. I tried my sisters and ot was very good. Overall I would not go out of my way to eat here again.

The bread on the table was warm and tasty with olive oil salt and pepper. Wait staff was attentive. The bathroom decor was cute and interesting according to the ladies in my party. Food was served all together, perfect service as the table side caccio e pepe was great to watch. Just have to say the truffle add-on was an additional $10 that I didn't appreciate since we were not told of that up charge. We got the table side Tiramisu that was really good too... Bit much cream but tasty. Someone told them it was my wife's Birthday so they also brought out a zeppoli dessert (with a small firework, amazing touch) on the house. Check came and the new thing of handing the console device while the several awkwardly stands next to the customer is not something I personally like. Just my preference with payment. My wife and sister in law loved the dinner so there's that. Hope my review and pics help with your decision to eat here.

The atmosphere is semi-casual and very loud. So while it’s a great lively environment, it’s not conducive to deeper dinner conversations. Overall this is a great option in a great location.

The waiter recommended the “octopus salad” as the special of the day as an appetizer, describing it in a way that made it sound like a great option. I agreed, expecting a proper dish. When it arrived, I was surprised to see only 4 or 5 small pieces of octopus, with the plate mostly filled with potatoes and olives. It felt misleading and very disappointing. The biggest shock came when the bill arrived — the salad was $30. That price is completely unreasonable for what was essentially an appetizer with barely any octopus. I would not recommend ordering it. I also ordered the risotto. It was acceptable, but not at the level you would expect from an Italian restaurant. Overall, not a place I would recommend.

Went for NYE. Booked on Open Table. They did not disclose that there was a mandatory $145 price fixe menu on Open Table nor their website, as other restaurants in town did. We only found out upon arrival. I completely understand restaurants doing a special menu on a holiday, but I would have not have booked this if I knew, because we did not want a big meal. The ambience is cute inside and had a busy bar area. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the expectations. It was just ok. The menu came with an appetizer. I got the burrata, which was very good (came with a HEAP of prosciutto). I ordered the ribeye with mashed potatoes and asparagus for the main. Steak was cooked perfectly but the steak itself and the sauce was not very flavorful and the potatoes I only took a bite, because honestly Bob Evans packaged mashed potatoes are better. Cheesecake was also just ok. And we never got the after dinner limoncello that was supposed to come with our meal. Would return to try the pizza maybe as my husband got one as the appetizer and said it was good.

I took my woman here for her birthday dinner and left disappointed. We started with drinks. The first mojito was extremely sweet and didn’t taste like a proper mojito. I’m not someone who likes to complain, but I mentioned it politely and they replaced it. The second drink was good and the food was solid. I told the server it was my woman’s birthday. He said they would bring cake but wouldn’t sing because it was jazz night. That was fine. However, not long after, the staff sang for another table, which didn’t sit right with me. I ordered another round of drinks later and the third mojito was again poorly made. At that point I didn’t bother complaining again. I just paid and left. The food was good, but consistency matters, especially when you choose a place for a special occasion. The drink quality and the birthday situation left a bad impression.

Unfortunately, our experience at La Trattoria was extremely disappointing due to very poor service and unprofessional management. We arrived early in the evening to have dinner. From the beginning, the service was slow and disorganized. The food took a long time to arrive, and when we tried to order additional drinks, it was difficult to get served. The attention on the restaurant side was already below expectations. Later, we moved to the nightclub area hoping the service would improve. One waitress was very attentive and kind; however, service was inconsistent—some people in our group were served while others were ignored. We reserved a table on the other side to continue celebrating a family birthday. Throughout the night, we continued ordering drinks consistently. Although we did not purchase a bottle, we were ordering cocktails continuously, sometimes paying directly to the waitress and other times running a tab. By the end of the night, each person in our group had spent well over $140, and in some cases over $250 per person—equal to or more than the cost of a bottle. Despite the fact that we had just been served drinks and were actively consuming, once the venue became crowded, the manager asked us to leave the table. His attitude was extremely disrespectful. He repeatedly gestured and said “out, out, out,” simply because we were not ordering a bottle, even though we had full drinks on the table and had just placed orders. It is important to note that this appears to be a new manager. We have visited La Trattoria many times before and never experienced this type of treatment. Additionally, friends of ours have mentioned having similar issues with this same manager. His behavior showed a clear lack of professionalism and concern for loyal customers. As we were leaving, the manager continued making dismissive hand gestures, as if it did not matter whether we ever returned. We are regular customers who have supported this place for a long time, and it was clear that retaining loyal clientele was not a priority. The impression left was that once the venue filled up, management simply wanted to remove us to sell the table to someone else ordering a bottle. This level of service and lack of respect is unacceptable. Sadly, this experience left a very negative impression
