Our favorite seafood restaurant! Don't be fooled by the decor; I really like it because it's quaint and unique, though I understand it might not be to everyone's taste. But the real star here is the fish: incredibly fresh raw, simply unbeatable. The waitress is always very kind and attentive, a real plus. Congratulations! 😍
An extraordinary experience for seafood lovers! The restaurant offers the highest quality raw fish, incredibly fresh and carefully selected. Every bite brings out the true flavor of the sea. The service is impeccable, and the owner is exceptionally kind: welcoming, helpful, and always attentive to every request.
If the name sounds familiar, you're right—the idea comes from the famous fantasy books the owner of this restaurant is an avid reader of. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the lady who runs the dining room is very kind and knowledgeable. The food is well-prepared, using top-quality ingredients. The value is fair, and the menu is varied, as are the wines and sparkling wines. The restaurant is suitable for both couples and, of course, groups of friends. The only drawback is parking; unfortunately, as with the rest of the city, it's difficult to find, but not impossible. It's worth a visit; reservations are recommended.
Wuaoooo wuaooo wuaoooo my new favourite place in Milan
very nice seafod cousine, the issue that sometime it is close earlier so please come no late than 10 pm)
How to describe it? TOP TOP TOP! The raw fish is fantastic, if you close your eyes it feels like you're on the seashore with a fisherman feeding you from the fishing boat. The gratin is disgusting, the mixed grill is so good! Oh, it's expensive, but if you want the best, you have to pay!
Great raw seafood, interesting creations, trust the recommendations!
Top Crudita super
Amazing raw fish platters, the pasta with shrimps and asparagine di mare is a must have in this lovely restaurant. The atmosphere is also very pleasant.
I'm really expert of raw fish restaurant in more countries.... This restaurant has an Excellent quality of raw fish and excellent taste research....they present plates full of innovative and classic tastes at the same time splitting or joining the taste as you look for them....it's really something of special. Friendly and smiling staff too. It's recommended to try it. Open all days from 19:30 to 23:30 (good opening hours for all cultures too)
Consigliato!
Ottimo pesce fresco e titolare cordiale e disponibile. Prezzi nella media per essere a Milano. Consigliato!
As soon as I arrived, I felt like I was in the Middle Ages, it was a bit creepy 😳 The food was good, but there are better! The waitress was very kind and attentive! It's strange that a restaurant in the city center was practically empty around 9 pm on a Saturday. We were the second customers to dine. The prices were average. The sign outside says "Italian," but I don't mean to be racist, but it's not.
My experience at this restaurant was positive. The restaurant shows its age, both positively—in the freshness of the fish and the respect with which the ingredients are treated—and in slightly more negative ways: the interior could use a thorough renovation, both on the walls and in the overall lighting. Furthermore, there are some elements that are truly perplexing in 2024, especially the wine list... and calling it a list is already an act of generosity! In reality, it's a list of grapes: Ribolla, Sauvignon, Fiano, Greco di Tufo... stuff you can't even see. The discrepancies between what was written on the menu and what I found on my plate are largely overlooked, given the quality of the preparation: I'm referring, for example, to the tagliolini with lobster, which was actually tonnarelli. I'll close this slightly more conservative section with a note on the service: the first course was served to my partner and I 15 minutes apart. She was eating her fish soup (good), while I watched her. Then, when it was my turn to get the tonnarelli... she was watching me! I repeat, overall we had a good time because the dishes were good, one of them even delicious: the baked turbot with potatoes (excellent) and porcini mushrooms (very good). The appetizer was decent, featuring grilled calamari (actually baby calamari) on a truffle cream, anchovy fillet, and pecorino fondue. A nice idea, but too many overpowering flavors. Perhaps if they had used real calamari instead of baby calamari, the result would have been better. The dinner was accompanied by a bottle of 2023 Greco di Tufo di Vinosia, very good.
Fresh fish. We ate very well, choosing the raw fish, but there were too many sea snails, especially the tiny, inedible ones, and the sea urchins were missing. Considering the high price of the raw fish platter, I expected more quality mollusks and fewer cockles and snails. Decent service. Overall, a good experience.
Guarantee. Shannara 1 is always a guarantee. We went for lunch on Sunday... and what can I say... the food was mouth-watering... the platter... the carpaccio... the pasta... and the fritto misto... I couldn't say which was better... everything you'd expect from a seafood restaurant... all accompanied, of course, by an excellent wine. And what can I say about the staff... a delightful young woman at the counter... elegant and refined, she can recommend the perfect dish for you...
A kitsch and unglamorous place. As you enter, you're greeted by the original armor of Lancelot, the famous Knight of the Round Table. The interior is no less impressive: shelves packed with knick-knacks and various furnishings, including a proud-looking eagle statue, a miniature sailing ship ready to set sail into the unknown, and even a replica of a fish fossil. A charm reminiscent of a treasure trove of memories. However, the atmosphere quickly becomes... torrid. The air conditioning, if present, seems more like a summer memory than a current reality, leaving guests immersed in an enveloping heat that turns dinner into a mini-test of endurance. Making the experience even more memorable is the persistent presence of a swarm of mosquitoes, which join the diners with perhaps excessive hospitality. That said, it's only right to highlight the quality of the food served: excellent, high-quality, and expertly prepared fish. The service and welcome are attentive and professional. Prices are average for Milan.
A kitschy place with armor scattered around the entrance and throughout the dining room, rather dark and certainly not elegant. The service and welcome are warm, quite attentive, and professional. The menu is exclusively seafood-based, and features both traditional and modern dishes. Prices are average (high), but appropriate for the size of the fish in the portions. I tried the fish soup and found it a bit bland, lacking in flavor. The off-menu pasta was really good. The super gratin dish, on the other hand, was rather bland, with too much breading on too little fish. The apple tart was also quite good.
