Stavamo andando a fare week end, eravamo ancora in viaggio. Volevamo pranzare e non sapevamo dove, non siamo stati mai da queste parti. Giravamo per le strade, ma era tutto chiuso e non c'era in giro nessuno. Abbiamo visto questa osteria, che da fuori è insinificante, siamo entrati e c'erano tanti lavoratori che mangiavano ( menu lavoro 13€), abbiamo chiesto, se c'era menu sulla carta, era" si"👏 Abbiamo mangiato benissimo: gnocco fritto con i salumi, primo, dolce, vino di casa e caffè 👍 La signora è ragazza che ci ha serviti, sono gentilissime e simpatiche. Qualità prezzo 👌 Se siete da quella parta, fermatevi, si mangia come da la nonna preferita 😉
Buona osteria in provincia di Verona. Piatti tipici del territorio ben fatti e porzioni abbondanti. A mezzogiorno c'è anche il menù per i lavoratori in pausa con una buona scelta. Personale gentile servizio veloce
Una vera osteria, uno di quei luoghi da preservare: così non ne fanno più. Marisa sa farti sentire a casa, ti accoglie col sorriso e ha sempre qualche storia da raccontarti tra le spiegazioni dei vari piatti che compongono il menù. Il servizio è preciso e attento, la cucina tradizionale, rispettosa del territorio e delle stagioni. Dopo un calice di bollicine offerto come benvenuto abbiamo mangiato il risotto con le rane, poi capriolo e puledro entrambi con polenta a fette (il capriolo era un fuori menù stagionale), il tutto accompagnato da una bottiglia di Valpolicella ripasso (la carta dei vini è essenziale ma ben variegata, non manca nulla e la scelta delle cantine è ottima). Per finire non potevamo non prendere la tipica sbrisolona. Se si prende il caffè, viene portato accompagnato da biscottini di pasta frolla. Tutto perfetto, non vediamo l'ora di tornare per provare caponsei, baccalà e luccio, ma soprattutto per chiacchierare ancora con Marisa.
Found it by chance on the phone. We were on the bike path, and they waited for our arrival at 1:40 PM to serve us a divine lunch. Mantuan risotto, rabbit and mushroom caramels, polenta and pike. Everything was delicious, including the wine and dessert. The owners were very kind. The price was reasonable (although when you eat well, the price is something I don't pay attention to). If I ever return to that area, I'll definitely be back. Guaranteed.
We came here to try the dishes made with traditional products. This place perfectly captures this aspect! From the welcome to the final farewell, we were completely satisfied. Driven by hunger, we consulted Google Maps and searched for a restaurant with a good rating. And so we arrived at Osteria Al Cantone. From the outside, it's almost anonymous, but upon entering, you find yourself in a warm and welcoming environment, despite its simplicity. One of those old-fashioned osterias, so to speak. We decided to order a RISOTTO MANTOVANO. A simple dish, but truly tasty and served in generous quantities. We quenched our thirst with red wine by the glass, and for dessert, we had the "Bignolata Mantovana." The service was very fast, and the staff was smiling and courteous. What caught my attention were some paintings of poems and thoughts handwritten by a customer or manager (I didn't quite understand) who is no longer with us. True masterpieces. In short, if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by!
We stumbled upon this place by chance while passing through, and it was a wonderful surprise. It's a true old-fashioned Osteria, where every customer is a character, and the service and hospitality are truly unique... we were immediately welcomed like family. The place is clean and the staff are incredibly friendly. The food is truly excellent, all fresh and of the highest quality... there are also many interesting options for local food... definitely worth trying!
I'll start by saying that during the week there is a workers' menu at a really good price and with a wide choice, for about 13 euros. Personally I took à la carte and I still had a great time. Typical dishes such as pike or ravioli that you can't find everywhere; the ravioli amari are worthy of note...exceptional. The appetizer is excellent. More than courteous service, good prices and a typical location, worth seeing.

A great experience! The place is very quaint, and the family atmosphere immediately puts you at ease. The food is truly excellent, with perfectly cooked pasta and top-quality meats. The appetizer of mixed cured meats with fried gnocco and warm tigelle, accompanied by an excellent Barolo, is also highly recommended. The owner is a wonderful person, welcoming you with warmth and exuding great skill and passion for her work. She's always ready to chat with customers at the table. Finally, you can't miss one of the excellent artisanal desserts. Exceptional value for money.

Great experience! We had dinner on a Monday in late August. The crowd was small, which was normal for a Monday, but the dishes were always excellent and fresh. The service was friendly and extremely helpful. Prices and portions were more than fair and adequate. The De.co peach tortelli with parmesan cream and amaretti biscuits, and the pike in sauce were highly recommended. Ask for advice.

Immancabili i primi piatti, consigliamo i tortelli: squisiti in ogni gusto e condimento, ma quelli alla zucca hanno un tocco in più! Ottimi anche i dolci. Personale gentile e disponibile e prezzi nella media.
We had lunch for four, returning from a short cycling excursion along the Mincio. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating, especially when it came to our somewhat unpredictable arrival time. They welcomed us warmly, and immediately served us an aperitif, delicious traditional dishes, accompanied by excellent Lugana wine. We finished the meal with the inevitable sbrisolona cake dipped in a shot of grappa. In short, there was a convivial atmosphere and excellent value for money. It's definitely worth returning, perhaps with more time and patience, to sample other traditional dishes. Well done.
I have to say the food was good. However, compared to other trattorias and considering we went with a reservation through The Fork, we spent a bit too much, and the portions were smaller than others. But overall, the food wasn't bad...would I go back?...I don't think so. I expect, as a trattoria and for the price, much larger portions.
A lovely restaurant serving typical local dishes. The cured meats appetizer, including tigella and delicious gnocco fritto, were delicious. The grilled meat was excellent and tasty. Cod with polenta: the polenta was excellent, but I personally prefer the cod creamed with milk and Grana Padano. The cod was delicious and tasty. The panna cotta was tasty. Very attentive and courteous service. Recommended!

Ambiente molto informale, adatto a tutte le possibilità. Personale di buona cortesia Piccolo locale, tranquillo. Bene per il pranzo di lavoro, visto che ci verrò solo per quello. Se si e in zona è un buon riferimento
Tipica osteria mantovana piatti tipici, da assaggiare assolutamente specialmente se uno si trova nella zona, l'unica pecca è stato l'atteggiamento della proprietaria, che all'inizio ci accoglieva simpaticamente, arrivato il conto mentre dividevano la cifra tra noi amici, la signora ci ha frainteso è ha iniziato ad urlare, pensando che avevamo da dire sul conto, ma non era così assolutamente, oltretutto mentre si cenava ,la cameriera puliva i tavoli vicino facendoci respirare il prodotto che usava . Secondo la nostra esperienza la signora dovrebbe essere più attenta a deternati particolari. Comunque ribadendo piatti ottimi.
